I feel like FnaF World is slept on in terms of lore. For instance, the original Old Man Consequences scene from fnaf world had one of the trippiest endings ever by drowning in a lake, and it feels like nobody talked about it again. There's so much dark stuff hidden throughout, it surprises me that the notoriously vigorous fnaf community wasn't bothered to entertain it as a lore source (for the most part.)
That’s the fun thing, you’re looking in the wrong places. In the YT and reddit communities no one talks about it because matpat said so, while in discord communities it’s one of the most important lore events of the series due to its connections to happiest day, golden Freddy, fredbear plush, and ucn
Scott also isn't opposed to showing graphic imagery in the books. One of then has it where someone is gruesomely bended and contorted in twisted ways while being in an endo and another has it where two people's bodies get smeared inside the same suit, I know people don't like the books a lot but some of it is really messed up.
Oddly enough, despite having this bright and colorful atmosphere, I much rather prefer FNAF World more than FNAF Security Breach because of it. Despite the soft and colorful looks, what FNAF World does right than Security Breach is that it still allows itself to have some dark and sinister lore behind it. And keep in mind, this game came out before Sister Location, a game that proceeded to turn the whole series on its head in terms of lore and graphic maturity.
I think the reason people don’t really talk about the hanging scene in Sister Location that much is the fact that the victims are silhouetted, unlike the FNaF world one where you see all the disturbing details. Next to that, Sister Location introduced a lot of stuff with it, like Ennard, Baby, the exotic butters, that scene probably got a bit lost in the chaos of things
There's also Elizabeth's death (and the fact that it was covered up by her own father), Micheal's innards literally getting scooped out by a machine that's presumably used to destroy animatronics (also the theory that William might have used it on kids before Circus Baby's Pizza World shut down), The Funtimes ability to trap kids, the springlock suit Micheal was in during the game, and Hand Unit mentioning that someone was found dead in the vents in the *very beginning* of the game. Though SL was leaning more towards being Sci-fi, it definitely had it's fucked up moments still.
In mangle's image. You gotta adjust some stuff with it. If you get the Adjusting right such as contrast, brightness, ect. It turns out that mangle is actually just fine, she's just biting into the red ball that's attached to the string. Heinz from the trailer with mangle's toy she's messing around with.

One thing I love about Fnaf World is that ending that teases SL. The style changes, the goofy mood goes to a serious, sinister vibe. Not to mention, literally death in the scene. Plus the only color is Baby’s eyes, and the red blood. It was so different and I love it.
This just shows that Baddest is a true fan, and dang, it would’ve been cool for a light/dark side in Fnaf World. Also Fnaf really could be super dark when Scott wanted it to be, it’s sort of a shame that the series took a less intense turn.

Whenever someone brings up FNaF World I remember how Ponguj (a Polish FNaF RUclipsr) described FNaF World (I don't remember if it was a pre-release theory, or how he thought the game should be), in that what we see in FNaF World is how animatronics see the World and what they're doing, sort of like Pyro in TF 2 sees his Pyroland while everyone is actually burning and screaming. That image would//should slowly degrade, sometimes switching to how things really are (bloody animatronics walking around a decrepid location), I still think that if that was how Scott handled FNaF World it would have been a lot less hated and overlooked.
It was probably just Scott having pushback against reviewers claiming the original 4 were kid friendly horror games because nothing was ever actually explicitly shown.

Didn't FNAF world tease Baby before sister location was out? Or am I remembering wrong, it most definitely connects to Sister Location. The connections could've been scrapped though.
I like to think that the update 2 of fnaf world was more of a vent than an update. All the hate he got from FNAF world, trying to make something he liked to make out of a series he also made, then it getting absolutely shat on.
The thumbnail alone sent a shiver down my spine, which is impressive. I am a VERY hardened FNaF fan that oddly the only stuff that actually scares my is little things.
Imagine walking through the Overworld of the game, one where you can randomly find gift boxes that contain some kind of thing to help you progress, but then.... You come across one gift box... Doesn't look out of the ordinary.... You open it in the menu and the screen shows...... A bloody child on a missing poster. It's one of the missing children.
It would've been nice if FNAF world had a ddlc type of horror where the more you go throughout the story the more insane the player gets or the game gets more disturbing.
The gun shot and the hanging both are related to sister location that I think one of the scarier games. Also the gun felt like read like the end credit scene from a mcu film
Apparently there was alot more lore because in the files there was the fnaf 4 box being opened. The box was going to be opened in fnaf world but it was scrapped.
Fnaf world feels like a game with lore that was kinda cut short. Like, there’s a bunch of weird creepy things, but they aren’t really explained. Like Scott gave up on the game and scraped all the lore, besides old man consequences for some reason. Like take the update 2 ending. A desk figure states their creation, Baby, is dangerous and then she kills them. Well, it can’t be Scott himself as he already appears in the game as aimbot. It can’t be Henny as he is alive in pizzeria simulator (although maybe the figure is henny, but this was ignored when making pizza sim). And it certainly can’t be Afton, who is the one who made baby.
I've said it once, and I'll say it a million more times: Graphics DON'T matter. They don't make a game good or bad no matter what people say. Hell, a lot of them will swear up and down that it NEEDS to "look good" in order to be good. This is simply not true. The old cabinet arcade classics, such as SMB1, Pacman, Galaga by these people's standards look terrible, but they aren't bad games at all. Why? Because the controls are great, they're fun, and have their own simplistic story that works. Nowadays a game can feel like absolute trash to play, have an overly complicated/nonsensical story, and they don't even finish them anymore. They'll fix it with DLC. But it "looks good", therefore, they think it's a good game. Nah. A GOOD game needs to be completed first of all, have tight controls, be fun to play, have an engaging enough story, and have the aesthetics of it not be so distracting/overdetailed, that you don't even know what you're looking at. A great example of this is the original Spyro for the PS1 vs Spyro Reignited. The classic games have some of the tightest controls, fun story, but you can actually SEE everything. In Reignited, everything is so overdetailed, and the lighting is so poor that half the time you can't even see where you're going or know what you're looking at. The controls aren't as tight as the originals either. Oh, and the aesthetic completely changed with their artistic liberties going way too far. A game doesn't need to look indistinguishable from reality. People use videogames to escape from it. So, having a game that's 8-bit, polygonal, or 3D modeled is perfectly fine as long as it meets certain criteria. Look at some of the greatest games of all time like SM64, San Andreas, Crash, classic Spyro 1,2&3, Tekken, MK, and the arcade classics. None of them "look real" but they're all fantastic. Sorry for the long rant, but people need to understand this.
Yeah, I like Minecraft and gorilla tag. Those games are amazing, even though the graphics aren't good (Minecraft is meant to be this way). And people praise the 8-bit minigames in the main games, so why not enjoy this?
Honestly, I prefer the game before the update. I went out of my way to find a version before the 3D world look that we have now. Yeah it doesn't have the table dude scene and it doesn't have some of the characters from the halloween update, but I didn't like that stuff anyway for the most part. I much prefer the arcade feel when I'm traveling around in the game. No matter what anyone says about it I like the game. I prefer this over Security Breach, and I know that because I have replayed the entirety of FNaF World countless times and I have only played through the entirety of Security Breach once. And yeah, it would've been cool if there was more of a sinister side to it, but I think it's fine as is. The only thing I really want to know is who the dancing shadow bear on the log above the snow biome cave is.
I think the best word I can use to describe FNaF World is potential. The concept of an RPG where you collect characters across the FNaF series that has real-time battles that force the player to think on their feet and manage resources just like the mainline games is absolutely brilliant. Unfortunately, due to Scott doing his (at the time) usual habit of releasing his game early, the concept and its potential, in both its gameplay and lifespan, was poorly executed, as he quickly shifted the direction of the game with Update 2 to focus on the game's more less-serious aspects, basically ignoring what the game was before, and how it would tie into the future of the series with Sister Location. Do I think this was the right move on Scott's part? Absolutely, and to this day FNaF World in its current form has some of my favorite moments in the whole series. But I also lament and ponder what could've been, if the potential of a FNaF RPG was given the time it needed to truly develop into something amazing and unique, potentially even outside of the series itself.
I don’t know why people hated FNaF World so much, it was the game that teased Circus Baby in the first place. And it had pretty interesting lore that had you looking, hoping what you’re gonna find was going to be cool.
FNaF World was said to be "non-canon",,yet it had some parts that could be lore relevant in some ways, and if you put them toghether in the right order.
imagine FNAF World got a remake and included a horror part were all the animatronics after a certain point become the opponents and your cast of characters are swapped to become the victims of william afton and the animatronics like Vanessa, phone guy, michael afton, crying child/Evan Afton and much more, with you have to fight off the animatronics and destroy them in realistic ways like "axe slash" and "taze", but they always come back, either fueled by agony to fight you or Glitchtrap controlling the game to torture the souls of those who died from the horrid animatronics and the Purple Menace himself, William Afton sounds like a interesting fangame someone could make, I sure would play that, as well as many fnaf creators and fans+
I know I'm a year late, but the hanging mangle was made to represent how Scott felt during the hate for fnaf world. Since he thought of commiting ooficide
I typically think of FNaf World as a classic Scott game as opposed to a FNaF game. I wouldn’t think of comparing FNaF to FNaF World but comparing it to games like the Desolate Hope makes more sense
He probably wanted a huge battle with afton I mean there are a bits of hints of it happening here’s what I think Scott wanted to do basically all the souls are stuck in the game including afton beating afton then he say I always come back and looks like he dies, dead kids leaving there but leaving a hint that one child did not go then cut to some 8 bit cutscenes of a phone call to a purple looking guy who’s was Micheal and some more hints of sister location and a hint of spring trap with a different model looking burnt then popping up from the ground game crashes show horrific jump scare of the suit something like that also sorry if it’s hard to read
I feel like when Scott’s done with everything security breach and the movie he should just work on fnaf world from time to time maybe more endings sections and secrets
I feel like it’s kind of a wasted potential. It has promise, including the possibility of adding the other characters (if the new owners are willing to let Scott use them for his lil side projects) and a possible gameplay shift where you don’t just have 3 locked attacks for each character. He shifted from whatever the main plot was at the start with the lil plush from 4 possibly taking to the child (who is the player) and went for having fun with the fans like he’s shown in the Halloween update and even the beat em up game he made, so he could have just gone deeper into that. He could have fun with it, work out the bugs and beta testing and possibly take some suggestions for the gameplay or whatever. It holds some promise for possible dlc to be added whenever a new game comes out and in general, it’s just a pretty fun and chill game to play when you feel like grinding with secrets to find. Also I don’t mean to offend but what are you? I never looked at your character until like halfway and thought you were male up until that point
Oh with the thumbnail I recognize two of those. The mango one being a teaser and I can’t remember exactly when I saw it but the clock ending Henry I recognized
I genuinely like the fact that everyone including myself interpreted the mango one as mangle hanging when in reality she was just holding the ball of her paddle ball
I paused four minutes in well almost four minutes in and my theory for the mangle hanging teaser is the fact that after you beat the hardest difficulty of the game Scott says something along the lines of "way to go you killed the creator" referring to animdude being the in universe developer of the in universe FNAF world game so basically just like FNAF VR help wanted FNAF world is a game inside of a game and the final boss the "✌️✊✌️✊ puppet master" is just a game developer preventing you from destroying his life's work and he dies doing so yes he acts as a puppet master but aren't all game developer's because if they aren't then Titanfall's cheaters only servers might as well be it's main servers the devs have to do at least a little puppeteering or the game is going to devolve into madness and then obscurity a good example of this is what a member of the overwatch dev team said "all you need to do to make a good game is to constantly give it updates" so yea that's my thoughts
I love FNAF World, it was the first FNAF game I played on computer. I love the cute designs and RPG’s can be really fun. I do wish FNAF World had taken the dark turn it could have had though, so much potential for such a twist. At least we get to see blood in it, lol. We have not seen blood in a fnaf game since other than springtrap scraptrap and burntrap but those guys don’t really count.
if there's anything i can get behind, its dumb fun. on launch, the game really didnt catch my attention, but once update 2 came out on gamejolt, i gave it a fair shot, and i honestly cant say i hate it. i think it would be cool having it be a game w hints of fucked up nostalgia, but im also glad it isnt a big part of the main story. its a silly lil chibi game where u fight things like a swearing rainbow, and for the most part, it works well trying to be that, though still with some little dark secrets to find for the more inclined. either way, it feels a little more grounded on its identity than security breach

1:30 I actually like the old version, at least how it looks. I hope it’s preserved somewhere online
Imagine walking through the Overworld of the game, one where you can randomly find gift boxes that contain some kind of thing to help you progress, but then.... You come across one gift box... Doesn't look out of the ordinary.... You open it in the menu and the screen shows...... A bloody child on a missing poster. It's one of the missing children.
we dont talk about bruno
It would've been nice if FNAF world had a ddlc type of horror where the more you go throughout the story the more insane the player gets or the game gets more disturbing.
The gun shot and the hanging both are related to sister location that I think one of the scarier games.
Also the gun felt like read like the end credit scene from a mcu film
Fun fact, FNAF World was the first FNAF game I ever finished. I know I know, I'm pro gamer as fuck.
Apparently there was alot more lore because in the files there was the fnaf 4 box being opened. The box was going to be opened in fnaf world but it was scrapped.
Good video wolf-human baddest person thing did a great job and deserves more credit
bro this is my now fav game
FNAF World: exists
RUclips bitrate: (screams in terror)
FNAF world is so fun. Literally started playing it again today
Surprisingly fnaf world is my fourth favourite fnaf game because of the game play and the secrets.
I thought it was just scott throwing a tantrum at the game's reception
FNaF World was said to be "non-canon",,yet it had some parts that could be lore relevant in some ways, and if you put them toghether in the right order.
imagine FNAF World got a remake and included a horror part were all the animatronics after a certain point become the opponents and your cast of characters are swapped to become the victims of william afton and the animatronics like Vanessa, phone guy, michael afton, crying child/Evan Afton and much more, with you have to fight off the animatronics and destroy them in realistic ways like "axe slash" and "taze", but they always come back, either fueled by agony to fight you or Glitchtrap controlling the game to torture the souls of those who died from the horrid animatronics and the Purple Menace himself, William Afton
sounds like a interesting fangame someone could make, I sure would play that, as well as many fnaf creators and fans+
I feel like it was shown a lot in sister location, as in the end you literally get your organs scooped out of your body
Hoping and praying Fnaf World 2 is like this
it’s got dorky charm. in a series of darker themes, it’s nice to have a little side piece that makes you go “why the fuck not” LOL
Did I miss the episode where Badd3st became a female furry?
I know I'm a year late, but the hanging mangle was made to represent how Scott felt during the hate for fnaf world. Since he thought of commiting ooficide
Idk why
But
People hanging are one of the most horrifying scenes to me
A lifeless body floating, forced to lifter, as if it was a simple puppet
Dude 😢
For some reason after sister location came out I really wanted a Mario and Luigi style sequel to fnaf world.
I was about 6 or 7 when I saw those 2 pics and I was forever traumatized because of them
I typically think of FNaf World as a classic Scott game as opposed to a FNaF game. I wouldn’t think of comparing FNaF to FNaF World but comparing it to games like the Desolate Hope makes more sense
I wish Scott would’ve kept the Atari style to keep with the other fnaf minigames
2:31 SAYOR- oh, wrong room…
Don't bring back the trama
I have no words
Honestly, it'd be more fun if FNaF World was like DDLC, a sweet looking game from the outside, and pure horror on the inside.
This absolutely makes sense though!!
scott didn’t even make security breach steel wool did
Fnaf world is a femboy👍
preach brutha
I feel like when Scott’s done with everything security breach and the movie he should just work on fnaf world from time to time maybe more endings sections and secrets
I also bought FNAF World on release and I have 10 minutes total logged on it. I haven’t touched it since I played for those 10 minutes
also weird thing to ask, which ambience is in the background of this video? it's SO familiar, I think it's desk man's, right? I can't quite place it.
I assume you’re talking about the scarier ambience when I’m talking about the teasers. It’s the ambience that plays during the minigames in FNAF4.
I like the Fnaf world teasers because of how dark they are
I never understood the negative backlash. FNAF World is a spin-off, not meant to be taken seriously or associated with the other games.
SO SO EXCITED FOR THIS VIDEO
We have not seen blood in a fnaf game since other than springtrap scraptrap and burntrap but those guys don’t really count.
look what you've all done, you threw the paddle on the ceiling while mangle was biting the ball. you monster
I wish some people would have waited and see if Fnaf World was good or scary because scott could have did so much with it
Wait but didn't someone brighten up the hanging Mangle to show she was just holding onto the paddle ball with her jaw?
I remember watching DanTDM playing this, it seemed incredible back then
if there's anything i can get behind, its dumb fun.
on launch, the game really didnt catch my attention, but once update 2 came out on gamejolt, i gave it a fair shot, and i honestly cant say i hate it.
i think it would be cool having it be a game w hints of fucked up nostalgia, but im also glad it isnt a big part of the main story.
its a silly lil chibi game where u fight things like a swearing rainbow, and for the most part, it works well trying to be that, though still with some little dark secrets to find for the more inclined.
either way, it feels a little more grounded on its identity than security breach
me every 5 seconds: FANGAME TIME! *proceeds to smash green tea can*
I like it but I get why people would hate it
When's 2.5 or 3.0 coming out?
Never. Scott is done with that game and he thinks it was a failure.
