To be fair, Chicago has a GDP of around $720 billion, which pits it against the likes of London, Paris, Seoul and Osaka. With the exception of Osaka, which might be a little affordable, Chicago offers exceptional value for the economy which you can access by living there. Costs in London, Paris and Seoul are more onerous.
