  • We bought a shuttle bus and are going to convert it into an RV. This video series will show the technical aspects of the conversion as well as the progress of the conversion. This will be a long series with a different format than most of my project videos.
This episode continues the demo of the bus interior and explains the construction of the original components of the bus.
What considerations would you have in a Bus to RV conversion?
What questions do you have on this project?

I was planning on hiring a guy to handle the demo and build out, and after watching this, I am glad I thought of that! I just want to design it and enjoy it!

Love the series man.. we are buying almost the exact same bus so I will be right behind you making what seems like a lot of the same moves. Love the 360 camera idea, now I'm about to buy one. So thanks for costing me more money. Liked and subscribed and I will be sharing

When you take out the insulation, be careful with the fibers! Those get right deep into your lungs! I strongly suggest respirators.
Great project, but don’t risk your health... :)

gentle impact. I couldn't wear a mask and describe what I was doing clear enough for video. That is a good point about face masks and I'll be wearing one when taking out all the insulation.

Think about framing the inside out with some 2 * 4 and just spray foaming for insulation. Air tight, and high R value.

    What happened to the 360?
Man I don’t stop to touch the screen trying to turn around .

Man you so much space with all those items out of your bus. Do you have a diagram of what the inside is going to look like? Have you gotten that far down the road?

I was looking forward to watching your build....But, I can't find anymore videos....how's it going?
I too want a shuttle...And my bedding plans are the same as yours... except I will be using two queen size beds into a bunk form (Which I will be buying,)
What's the length of the bus?

Wow, that's a lot of detail on how to take apart stuff, most of which you'll be throwing away. BTW, why no 360 camera like you did on the last bus demo video?

The 360 video is nice, but I can't get crisp detail on small parts, and I felt that was needed in this video.

Hi there. I've been busy shooting some videos and the holidays did slow my project schedule. I've got several videos ready to release very soon. Stay tuned.

Nice and informative video, thanks for sharing! :) Also, just to be 'that' guy, I hope you don't breathe the insulation all the time ;)

      @EngineeredWoodworkingandDIY  6 лет назад +1

Thank you. It's hard to talk with a mask on, so removed the insulation on the lower panel on the wall without a mask. I wore a mask while removing the rest of the insulation.
