I believe this was done in gen 3 because lightning rod didn't give electric immunity then. You'd have a ground type with lightning rod so in double battles it'd redirect lightning attacks to the ground type.
Whoa, Cubone's competitive history is metaphorically the same of his own -- nice beggining with his mother alive and playing all day, just for it to get smashed by Eviolite in Unova and Knock Off in Kalos. Well, it is sad, but at the same time, poetic. The life itself crushing his bones and soul.
Err, Little Cup debuted in Gen 2 with Pokémon Stadium 2. Item Clause, Chansey and Scyther were allowed and Cubone was one of Scyther's few checks (it survived a +2 attack from it and KO it back with Counter or Rock Slide). In Gen 1, Cubone was allowed in Petit Cup, a format for cute Pokémon of levels 25-30. Petit Cup was played in many international tournaments in 2000 and Smogon has had tournaments of Petit Cup and Gen 2 Little Cup in the recent years, so I don't know where False Swipe Gaminig got its data from.
Do an episode for Bronzong, it has a great type combination, great Abilities, high stats with high defenses and a large move pool. The only downside is its speed stat, but it can learn trick room and rock polish (the latter only in earlier generations).

I'd love to see more Little Cup content. Seems like a very intense scene
It's really funny to think how this video is longer than charizards original video here xD
It baffles me that one of the abilities that the cubone line gets is freaking LIGHTNINGROD
Same with the Ryphorn family.
I believe this was done in gen 3 because lightning rod didn't give electric immunity then. You'd have a ground type with lightning rod so in double battles it'd redirect lightning attacks to the ground type.
@@terrorhenk646 Nitpicking here, but Mystery Dungeon provided an Electric immunity in Explorers and Rescue Team.
I personally like to think that the reason it has this as one of it's abilities is because it can use the bone it carries as a makeshift lightning rod
People who play LC, do you reckon the meta would be improved by some sort of eviolite clause? i.e. one per team.
FSG uploads a new Gen 1 Mon videos.
A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one.
I counted, the generation one segment lasted 17 seconds XD
I love Little Cup! Keep it coming!
Look at that little friend 🥺
Maybe next “How Good Was Lunatone” hopefully?
Cubone and Sandshrew are some of my fav gen 1 pokemon and reason why I love Ground types. Though Garchomp is my fav ground type now.
And now, something completely different.
2:05 LEDIAN LETS GOOOOOO
In your Pikachu video, you covered little cup for gen 1, so it's got to exist somewhere.
Not only did drilbur come into existence in gen 5, but so did mandibuzz
Love seeing Chikorita doing something good in competitive, even if it's just walling an underpowered mon.
Little cup coverage, awesome episode.
I'd love to see a full video dedicated to the Little Cup
I mean, the lack of Alolan Cubone kinda makes sense. How do wear the skull of a ghost?
YES!!! I LOVE little Cup! :D More of this please! :D
petition for FSG to do videos of a summary of each generations metagame
Didn’t expect Cubone to get its own video lol
I would like to see a video on Cubone's fellow item powered, unevolved sweeper: Clamperl.
Same
Love it! How about Abra next!
0:25 my favorite sad movie is Schindler's list, so I doubt it.
Is another smash video ever coming? It's been two years and it's honestly the only reason I'm subbed :(
Err, Little Cup debuted in Gen 2 with Pokémon Stadium 2.
Its 1 am and i have school. OFC i should watch this.
I like how you're covering little cup pokemon it's really fun and very very nice to watch videos that aren't as long as the fully evolved pokemon
I need more Little Cup vids, they are really interesting to see how babies play on the Playground
Do an episode for Bronzong, it has a great type combination, great Abilities, high stats with high defenses and a large move pool. The only downside is its speed stat, but it can learn trick room and rock polish (the latter only in earlier generations).
How HARD did cubone make us cry ACTUALLY?
Ilike the theory I heard that cubone was like baby kangaskhan that lost its mother and now evolves into a different pokemon due to the skull it wears. I think I saw another suggestion about a connection to charmander but that only makes sense if its tail somehow went out
Still a fan favorite all these years
A surprise, to be sure, but a welcome one.
Even if he's not used much in competitive, Cubone has always been one of my absolute favourite 'mons and always will be!
I guess we're getting more calms before the storm of the ferrothorn movie
