It is so sad that this has to be done. The human race can be horrible a lot of the time. The photo taking was rather in bad taste, however I am sure that it was because they were proud to be helping to try and save the Rhinos and want to remember it... like you filming to educate people. You have a big heart young man.
Yeah that’s true regarding the group photos, I’m sure they meant well. It just didn’t feel right you know
@@WildlifeWithCookie I understand for sure.
Im from Central African Republic, and so many people are so impoverished this makes so much sense why they would do this. I really appreciate you guys and all the rangers around the world who protect animals like this.
Really top tier vid mate! totally agree with your position on the photo taking. Fully appreciate you making this film and including it all along with your commentary of your emotional responses in these moments. couldn't have been an easy one
Cookie....you are a great soul! You feel for the Rhino even when you know this is for the good. Your empathy is wonderful. Thank you for bringing this to our attention. Keep up the great work!!
Thank you so much for sharing this. Despite it being so hard to go through it all. I appreciate you not talking to much during the whole process while you where there.
Iv just come back from (KNP) kruger national park absolutely brilliant the wildlife you see is amazing. I was lucky to see both the black and white rhino whilst there totally amazing
Nice work mate, doing what’s right can be bloody hard sometimes.
Thanks
That was a tough watch but your empathy was outstanding
It's sad but it's necessary.... It's one of the only ways to protect them.. I love your videos brother... I'm looking forward to whenever the podcast starts back up.... I don't miss episodes and I don't miss ur podcast either... Been here since the whole Neil Waters catastrophe... I'll be here till ur channel ends bro... I hope that's a LONG TIME from now!
Agree the photo seems wrong but a great video to show the plight of these wonderful animals
Long May they survive
Well done on your portrayal of events
What an amazing guy you are.
Never heard of de-horning a rhino.
So sad that had to be done so poachers won't take those...
I love all your videos very much. You're very much my star ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Just saw you on the sidemen reacts channel at 4:30 about wild wallabies
If this is too hard to watch, just think how much care they take to save these animals and how brutal it is and how more brutal and less care it takes to kill others species for 0.01% of the money...each
Poor animals. I'd have declined the photos too, it just feels wrong.
As much I don't like it lt helps
Protect the rhinos
That’s it bro, it’s not nice but it helps
I would never be able to do this...
Hard watch can’t lie
@@WildlifeWithCookie Defo.
Bro ur lucky this seems sick, but in both ways I would prob throw up
The experience was an eye opener that’s for sure
Well this ought to be interesting
1 baby saved.....keep going to help them
What belting youtube channel
The group photos are stomach churning, that should be prohibited, they’re “Supposed” to be there for the animals welfare and nothing else. I’m disgusted. I also feel the rhinos need there horns for defense so how long do they last without their horns ? And if the horns are worth that much the poachers will probably start killing them anyway for the stump that’s left once they can’t find any with intact horns.
De-horning doesn’t appear to reduce their livelihood, so that’s a positive. Your last sentence there is something that does happen already but with anti poaching units around, it makes it less worthwhile and way more risky
Good job cookie, you’re helping them out mate
Rhino do not use their horns for defense. It's strictly for attracting a mate. If you watch them tussle they headbutt each other and they hold their horns out of the way while the shove each other around.
