on the Virginia and Truckee Railroad in Nevada this railroad operates from Virginia City Nevada to Gold Hill but however their tracks were extended to Carson City and the first trains ran in 2009 now today they usually go to Carson City for excursions they have two operating steam locomotives number 29 and the other one is unknown but they usually operate trains usually every day with their steamers and their diesels even though all the way to Golden is not a very long ride but it does pass through a tunnel and climbs over the hills until it reaches Gold Hill and begins the return trip back to Virginia City
