As always, thanks for watching. - Развлечения
The weathering on those mineral wagons is Magnificent!
Thanks 😀
Joy, oh joy! 5 minutes of glorious sanity, far removed from all the crap that is going on around us, as I type this note! As always totally mesmerising!!! This railway is simply wonderful! Thank you, thank you, thank you Lewis! My best regards, John. ❤️❤️❤️
Thanks very much John, really glad you enjoyed it!
Beautiful scenic Model and great weathering detail.
Thank you 👍🏻
This makes me realise just how much time was spent running the engine around the train and shunting the brake van.
Yes I guess that’s one reason they switched to DMUs with cabs each end!
new waggons have fitted in nicely - you would think they had 20 years working !
Thanks 😀
Always enjoy a video on this channel just so peaceful. Some 4 wheel coaches would look lovely on the layout as well
Thanks!
Wonderful as usual, the Crab & especially the coal wagons are impressive to say the least!
Cheers John b😎
Thanks John!
Thanks for another fantastic and interesting model railway video. Your attention to detail is amazing. Your weathering skills on those wagons, they look like the real thing. But I did notice a few had square wheels!!!, that's close-up photography for you.
Thanks! Yes some of them need a bit of attention I think, a few stick brakes here and there!
This is so realistic. I remember these rakes of trucks going around the tight junction in Syston. You could hear them squeal as they passed over the junction. You can still see them on the. Great Central Railway in Leicestershire.
Thanks very much Charlotte 😀
Lovely video as ever. Some great weathering on the wagons. Brilliant !!!
Thanks David 👍🏻
Serenity and brilliance.
Thanks Anthony 😀
Excellent model and so nice to see a realistic video of operating sequences! 🐱
Thank you 👍🏻
@@MouldyRaspberry My pleasure - I can you have a significant back-catalogue of videos I'll have to slowly work through! 🙂
Like a little steam gala in miniture. Wonderful.
Thanks!
Thanks Lewis for another great video .One wagon had its moment of fame ,moving on its great to see your wagons doing what railways was built for ,carrying the load for home & industry .I am always so interested in your scenery .😊looking forward to your next video ..
Thanks Steven 😀
good weathering good vid
Thanks 👍
Did I spot a mishap? Sorry ex railman. Great session, and yes those wagons look superb. Also spoted a rare slope sided mineral too. Built at Shildon I believe. 👍👍👍
You did 🤣 I always miss something! Thank you 👍🏻👍🏻
Yes you did: it was probably a 'Hornby' (Triang) wagon that jumped the track.
Those waggons really looks all worn out 😮❤❤❤
They do! 😀
Fantastic in all areas as usual. 😁👍
Thank you! 👍🏻
Fabulously weathered mineral trucks - another great sequence!
Thanks!
Those wagons look fantastic just the right amount of weathering. Great running session.
Thanks 😀
Blooming marvellous... just watched back on widescreen and almost had to remind myself it was your room layout Lewis! another masterclass on the sound sync again. thanks for posting! also, blimey... that's some close coupling!
Thank you 😀
Fan bloomin' tastic.
Thank you 👍🏻
Those MDVs look really good Lewis….and you have fitted magnetic couplings …nice.
Thanks Brian 👍
Another enjoyable video of a train rtip through the Dales, thank you.
Thanks, glad you liked it 😀
Brilliant.
Thanks 👍🏻
Nice video and realistic working session on a branch line.Pity about the derailing truck in the 2nd scene towards the end of the train but realistic again with 4 wheelers
Thanks Michael! Appreciate it 👍🏻
Beautifully aged wagons!
Thanks!
What a beauty. Thank you for sharing this.
Thank you 👍🏻
What a fabulous looking rake of coal wagons to start the show! I'm too young to remember steam hauled coal trains on the mainline, but I vividly recall such filthy, rusty wagons being trip worked by small ex-GWR tank engines and 08 shunters to/from the exchange sidings where they were collected by one of the literally dozens of class 37s based at Cardiff Canton depot.
Such a beautiful layout
Thanks!
Always enjoyable watching your videos Lewis , thanks for posting. Cheers Greg
Thanks Greg!
good vid on running trains thanks four the cool vid you do on channel
Thanks mate 👍🏻
Nice to see a steamy departing tender first for a change. Steamies don't always back down to run smokebox first. They usually end up running tender or bunker first, when there's no room for a turntable to be installed. I'd like to see the Standard 4 tank engine coming in bunker first.
Thanks Kelly glad you liked it 😀
Outstanding
Thanks 👍🏻
Great video. Most enjoyable. Thank you for posting it.
Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks 👍🏻
Awesome video Lewis!!! I liked it very much! Many thanks for sharing. Cheers Onno.
Thanks Onno 😀
Fantastic as always, the camera angles make this so good too 👍🏻😃
Thank you 👍🏻👍🏻
Some of my favourite engines Mr Mouldy. Good video😊
Thanks John!
Nice presentation. I noticed (I was not the only one) that your little 4 wheelers decided to take a different course! Mine used to that, never in the same spot, so I cut some sheet lead ( about 16g) to fit very neatly in the bottoms of the waggons and carefully painted. Of course a load or a tarpaulin over the thing helped. But, the little bludgers stayed on the rails!😊
Thanks Peter! Yeah I think it’s because the different brands of wagons have different coupling heights, so they can lift each other off the rails sometimes with these new magnetic couplings I’m using.
Enjoyed watching the new wagons rolling past the camera. They appear used, neglected and elderly. Weathering is certainly in your skill set!
Thanks Steven!!
Great video as always glad you are ok these days kind regards Martin
Thanks Martin 👍🏻
Nice 👏👏👍
Thank you 👍
so cool new sub it looks awsome
Thanks!
Superb work Sir .... How it should be ✅
Thank you 👍🏻
Nice as always,..bit of a derailment there at the start?
Thanks! Yeah I missed that 😅
This layout and the sound is very good,I have to find something wrong, not because I'm a rivet counter but I like bloomers
Firstly I noticed a scene where one wagon had a wheel come off, thrn another scene where it looked like a tension look couple vertical, I could just see the hook 9n the left of the scene.
What I really want to know is why when I video my trains, something always goes wrong. It's like the trains know they are on video so decide to play up.
brilliant that, can I just ask are those coupllngs kadees with the metal hooks removed? or something else? - Cheers👍
Thanks! Yes Kadees with the magnetic hooks removed. I’m not bothered about the automatic uncoupling, I just like them because of their reliability and looks compared with tension locks
im curious, which couplings do you use to do your remote decoupling? they look like kadee's but the tails are massively short so how does it work?
I just do it manually so I snipped off the tails. I like the Kadees though because of how reliable they are and the close coupling but wasn’t bothered about doing it remotely.
Do you know where your footplate crew get their light blue brace and bib? I can’t find any but dark blue ones🤨
Hi Lewis absolutely wonderful watching that. could you please tell what type of loco was that in the first peace of your video it has slipped my mind. I must say liked the way you finished of your video with the little 2MT{ alias Micky mouse } backing up to connect with the mixed wagon train and pulling out and heading for the tunnel .Thanks again Lewis for the effort you put in bringing your videos to us keep em coming .
Thanks very much Tony!
Hello, do you remember where you downloaded the sounds from? I've been looking around and can only find real cheesy ones, fake ones or really short ones of no use. Cheers. Simon
Hi Simon. I recorded the sounds at heritage railways, it’s just audio extracted from some videos I took 👍🏻
@@MouldyRaspberry So that explains why they sound so real. I'm doing a visit to a railway on the 2nd next month. I will have to record. Just want to say thankyou for all these videos. As a person who is a crap modellor they are an inspiration to what can be achieved and how to do it. Cheers
Very hard coupling.
Just the way we like it
Derailment at 0:38?!?
Are your engines DC or DCC
DC 👍🏻
Thanks for the reply!
