6/3/2024, was going through this walk-through... first playthrough of this, I didn't get the abandoned ship, it was nowhere to be found. I had two baddies attacking the escort, and they quickly killed me. Second playthrough I was going to just try again and pay more attention.. and save just before the shooting started.. and suddenly there was an abandoned Cerberus Sentinel sitting there. So I took command of it and docked my smaller ship to it, and went through the rest of it. So it DOES still spawn.
I watched nearly all of this playlist yesterday and it convinced me to buy the game last night. I have been watching X4 since it came out, but I was always intimidated by the complexity of it, no one ever seemed to mention that any sort of story existed, and most people seem to spend more time in menus than in the cockpit. I know that a lot of people play this game specifically for that stuff, but I wanted some sort of story to guide me and help me learn, and I didn't want to spend most of my time in menus. Your videos showed me that I can play this game the way that I would like and that it isn't quite as complicated as it appears as first. I bought the game and all of the DLC because of you. Thank you so much for your high quality, informative and even fun videos. Your channel deserves a much larger following, genuinely.

That was pretty funny watching that enormous frigate firing all its guns at that tiny fighter and still unable to hit. Great work on those turrets Egosoft.
Just purchased the "X4: Community of Planets Collector's Edition" on a GoG sale. Really appreciate this "Let's Play" as my first attempt to figure out the game missed this entire story sequence. Every task seems to depend on mysterious details that I keep struggling to figure out.
I was hoping the video would go further with the PHQ development. I tried to do the research but after buying some items I had nowhere to store the goods. Now I have to figure out how to build storage. It seems the game assumes players will inherently know what to do.
The frigate is the first time I've had a ship with a docking bay, and the logistics of the ship having a breathable atmosphere on the outside while the ship is moving around in space is absolutely throwing me. Not to mention docking a ship on a ship on a station, orbbeing able to fit 40 ships in a ship... I ain't saying no to free stuff though!!
That's way more effort then simply pressing shift+d. Or hell, just rammning full speed towards the landing pad because the game will land for you as soon as your in the green zone.
It is with great sadness that I must report this quest has been removed from the game with the 6.0 update and the Kingdom's End DLC. Now when you scan a signal Boso just rambles something about the Heretic's End sector and the PHQ spawns in with a dock when you enter that sector. You just get it with no fanfare sadly.
36:40 The reason why you could not hit the target ship, is because you are not following the target paint mark. The enemy ship has a white target ball ahead of it. YOU have to get your center blue target ball as close as possible matching both target balls. In order to get accurate shots. The ball guides you to let you know where your ammo is going and where you need to point in order to hit the target. To make it easier to understand. Match your shots target dot to the white enemy ship dot that is ahead of the enemy ship. its where you should be targeting your weapons. Also, you need to play with the throttle. When making turns you need to slow down so your ship turns faster. otherwise you will be trying to play catch the rabbit for hours. Its a little rabbit and fast, YOU going fast on a large ship will never catch up. Throttle down like half way point and constantly be playing with the throttle to make sharp turns. the more sharp turn the lower the throttle has to be. Though never stand still, you'll become a donkey target. lol :) hope that helps. Just had to point that out :)
He actually wasn't doing such a bad job of tracking the lead pip, it was the auto gimbals on the heavier ship struggling to track more than it was user error if you watch again. ;P
hmm so what i thought was data links i guess wasnt lol. and i just need to get really close to it apparently ok. glad u did this. showing both things we pickup on scanner. this game is good. but like elite u really got to PUSH ur way through the early game learning all the new things cause the game just refuses to explain a damn thing.
I love the foreshadowing at 33:35 since at 36:20 only 2 of your turrets are active and throughout the engagement the turrets make frequent contact with the ship but doest seem to affect the ships shields at all until a 3rd turret on your ship activates at 36:47. Not sure what causes that to happen but occasionally I've noticed my own turrets randomly shutting off in the middle of fights, it's supper annoying when it happens.
Turrets are a bit weird in X4 I think, It's possible it's due to the following facts: 1. turrets have a limited field of fire or a point of view if you will, 2. turrets have a fixed rotation rate and will try to track a target but may simply fail to get their gun on target until it has passed their field of fire, and then move to next unhittable target, so it seems they're never firing, 3. in unmodded X4 turrets and weapons of all kinds have pretty short ranges, deceptively short, so you may think your M flak batteries should be able to engage a target because it appears close, but actually they can only reach 3km, and a related note 4. the turrets are calculating their range from the turret itself, whereas the game is calculating distance from somewhere else, I'm not sure if it's the centre of the ship or the edge of the ship's model; in any case this will create further discrepancies between apparent range and the turret's ability to fire
Great video. I enjoy your presentation. I'm curious how the parts for building the HQ are automatically filled. I too had the clay bits automatically filled. I then went to buy some e.cells, but on my way to pick them up found they had already been filled. My Im on to the hull parts, which are fairly scarce in my game. There are 3 hull factories in the sector, but they sell out of parts quickly. I'm buying some where I can.
I mean, if you're gonna do the super highway loop, my suggestion is data vault it up, personally, plenty of vaults in that loop. OFC I say this but even though I'm hours ahead of this start where you just hit 18 minutes and my run is a complete fraggin' mess with the same start, soooo... not trying to sound like I'm backseating or anything. Just started a fresh start to see why I wasn't able to stream line stuff at the start like you were able to, and, it's because stuff has changed with the start. Straight away Bota says "Oh I'll be in touch with you, right now I've got to go." or something like that, so, I think that things have changed a bit due to one of the two DLC's that launched since then (probably the Kingdom's End DLC). I think they even cut out the section where you save Bota, etc, because, at least in my most recent playthrough, PHQ was directly related to the untested Explorer quest line involving testing out the shut down jump gate. I went there specifically to do that mission because I hadn't heard from Bota... and boom... the PHQ just appeared in the sector. IMO, that was a bad call on their part to cut that whole first part of the quest line out. I mean, okay, sure, it's a sandbox start, but, that's one of the base starts that someone new is probably going to want to start with, and this retcon bypasses a lot of stuff that, imo, someone new to the game should be aware of. I mean, I've hundreds of hours across the old disc version of X3 and the one I bought from steam since nobody (including me) seems to have CD or DVD rom drives anymore, and, even coming from that, just enough stuff changed between 3 and 4 that I ended up appreciating the way that start was. That said, your advice is still solid, I'm just annoyed at the design decision itself because that older mission path goes step by step and implements things as you go, the new way absolutely had me confused AF, like getting bombarded all at once. They could absolutely have kept the addition of the dock and cut that mission out, and that'd have been fine, but, the way it runs now (not Galactic Exchange anymore) you go from having no base and not other ships given to you by the quests to BOOM getting the whole PHQ plot quest dumped on you all at once and still not having any other ships. Sure, there's the Oddyseus only a few systems over, but, that takes some doing, skill, and blind luck to get it without getting blown to hell. Sorry, this is absolutely part rant that has nothing to do with your guide other than, imo, your guide makes me miss the old quest line.
This PHQ main mission can certainly be ambiguous. The instructions are frequently non-existent. For Escape Plan I have "fly to Hewas Twin V". I do that, and it leads to an empty spot in space. Then just ends. Edit : I had to get into the abandoned ship, and fly to the marked spot on the map. FWIW the instructions I was given said that boarding the abandoned ship was optional.
...again. "Test out the transporter!!" Doesn't tell you where to go, or how. Edit : For anyone else who's curious. On the map you can right click on an owned asset, and teleport there so long as it's in range. Higher research gives more range.
Any tips on what to produce on the station? It doesn't seem like the best location in the game and trade is kinda slow! I do remember that you can teleport the phq to wherever you want at later levels but what about the original sector it's in?
I've been playing x4 for a month now, I never had whatever you did in this video, I tend to accept the mission that leads you to heretics end where he magically teleports the station with an already built dock, and after you dock and talk to him, he just gives you the phq for free and suggests starting research. Is this tied to the game start?
As an X2 alum who bought X4 and all the DLC a few weeks ago, and am completely sucked in (and would kill for Boso Ta), I don't love the PHQ and in particular teleportation. Breaks the game a bit if you can ping across the galaxy in an instant with a pocket full of contraband
Every time I attempt this introductory mission, the moment I come through the anomaly, I am attacked and killed by other ships. Is this normal? I didn’t see it happen in this video. Very frustrating.
Until he's attacked? I've done that like 3 times in a row with 0 attacks. The shitty part, is that it's a slow travel drive. You can't keep up with boost, even if you had unlimited boost, but your travel drive will be faster than theirs. Unless you know(and I'm fairly certain that the game doesn't TELL YOU THIS...) that you can 'match speed' with the travel drive. just turn match off a few times to catch keep the right distance.
When i do the long range scanner all i get is beep no purple shit, i have been stuck on the part where you need 3 ships , every time i hit SHIFT - F , nothing happens unless i have something targeted even then it does not work been trying for 6 FUCKING HRS , starting to get rather pissed. Can you help me , What am i doing wrong, the left shift -f , Does nothing but makes a weird sound, holding it for 2 seconds does nothing.
Just downloaded the game yesterday, so 'clueless' -- my question: at approx. 9:30 point in video when you harvested the 'crystals' there was a brief pop-up on-screen indicating "illegal goods..." -- will there be issues trying to land at a station to sell the crystals later? Those are unstable crystals which are an uncommon drop from those shards. You'll get fined by the police if you hang around a station too long. Until you know how to land quickly its safer to jettison them as they are fairly easy to get if you need any in the future
In the X4 full PHQ quest, does the abandoned frigate, Gorgon Vanguard, appear during the quest? or was it there from the start of the game? In other words, can you get it before starting the PHQ questline?
That I'm no sure about. I think that the PHQ quest triggers after you find the data leak, as the mission locations you need to travel to change depending on which station you find it at. Or the quest triggers are different with ever game seed. Honestly not sure which
I'm at a total loss here. After the point where boso asks for help what I get is NOTHING like what you are getting. I'm being told to fly to backhole sun IV and it skips straight to the part for the freighter escoprt, but the freighter is bugged and wont dock to pick him up.
“There is a wound in the Universe, so let’s tear it wide open and make it angry…. Cause SCIENCE” That is exactly the kind of attitude that will lead the entirety of intelligent life to its doom at some point in the future
that barb wired fence on these docks is the reason i only do terrans. Then again the inventor of the barb wire must be very prood to see that they still use it in the future....rofl
would be nice for the uninitiated if you said what buttons you are pressing to do things, all i have wanted since this game came out was the humble merchant start but they have gated it behind a freaking achievement hence why i have stuff all playtime on it and are pushing buttons like a drunk monkey trying to figure things out
I want that antimatter Boom; I need that on a Torpedo or something; would make a great gift for a Xenon, or two; Ok after that gunnery demonstration, replace primary weapons with Heavy Heatseeker Launchers. BTW can you tow that HQ someplace useful? Just wondering.
Have you tried the Starburst missile? It has a very large explosion. The PHQ can't be towed, but you can research teleport and move it around the galaxy
Whenever I hit Dock to Trade the ship just sits there and eventually says the order failed. I select the ship, right click the station, select Dock to Trade, and nothing. Did something change in the game since this video was made? Edit: The answer is yes, something changed in 5.0 that made that not possible. You have to discover the entire route yourself before the other ship will travel it. I traveled all the way to the warf and then gave the other ship the order and then it worked. I don't know why they changed it.
Are some of the locations I'll be sent to randomized by the game, perhaps depending on which 'start' I begin the game with? Reason for asking: I started with 'Young Gun' start, and when I reached the point after finishing the dock where I'm to go escort the decoy, etc. I am not sent to 'Sacred Relic' as you were in video -- instead my mission indicates I'm to go to lower-right portion of 'Black Hole Sun IV' -- and as I approached I was mobbed by Xenon (spelling?) and killed extremely quickly. Reloaded previous save, and same mobs attacked as I approached the area indicated by the mission (in 'Black Hole Sun IV'). Have I broken my game -- is this a bug/glitch? Not able to advance the mission to finish getting the PHQ, as I have not means to fight/survive against the hostiles in that location. Thank you for your time and assistance.
Mission locations are semi random. That Xenon patrol was just bad luck. You can try to attack them and lure then towards a station, or wait for an Argon defense fleet to arrive
Sorry for getting annoying again, but i have an important question: i´m about to start the whole Mass Teleportation Research, and i want to know: can i teleport OTHER stations in my possessions as well? And into other sectors? Because that´s what i currently need the most. I tried building a Death Wall station at the The Void southern Jump Gate, it was painfully slow because the Xenon didn´t like my idea of putting a plug in their hole. Thus i hope to be able to teleport a big, juicy, heavily armed Defense Station that i build in a secure region without constantly getting the Construction Site blown to pieces.
@@JKNinja Hm, might still work... Build HQ as a Defensive powerhouse, use it to block Xenon sektor Jump Gates, construct defense base normally, teleport HQ to next Xenon sector Jump Gate... Shame i have already build my HQ to such a high degree, i don´t wnat to switch it back, but for new playthroughts...
Any station can have the data leak to start the PHQ mission chain, its not specific to sector. Terrans have their own mission chain for the PHQ which you get right away. Its the one where you start fixing satellites
I had the same happen. I didn't scan for data leaks or whatever. I followed the mission for the other story and Boson Ta is involved in it and just immediately asked me if I wanted the station. I'm brand new and was struggling to find out wtf to do with this station, how to do research, etc and unfortunately all mentions to PHQ are outdated. It seems with the newest DLC, we just... get it. So the only part of this video that matters if you own the most recent DLC is the "Meeting up with Boso" onwards.
It has changed since the last update, it confused me at first to. Just ignore that part of his guide, as those quests do not exist the same way with the kingdoms end dlc or whatever
You will need container and solid storage to finish all the research so installing refined metals, teladianium, or silicon wafer factories will allow you to reuse them. The big advantage of the PHQ is that it can move (although it is very, very expensive to do), putting wharfs and shipyards on it and teleporting it where you need it. If this is your first station build a good place to start is with energy cells and ore refining.
@@JKNinja I see. I tried to Google on what to do with phq, and I've seen people that's againts using phq as a factory since it would be much more efficient to just make it somewhere else. But yeah this is my first station so I guess I'll make a refinery out of it like you said. Thanks

It would be cool if the crystals had of a purpose then selling them to make money ... Like the crystal are used to build weapons and each type of Crystal has a different effect on the weapons... Some give better range some give better damage output etc.. give the poor moron a break I mean boron 🤗 you would be a chatterbox if you didn't have somebody to talk to for a long period of time too😁
I didn't mind him until I made this video. I did the run twice before recording to make sure I wouldn't accidently skip things (I'm sure I still did somehow), now I realize that guy really does talk a lot. I do like the Dal Busta calls him boso condescendingly and he doesn't get it because that's actually his name!

@@JKNinja I think I figured out the issue. I did not use the same start. I used the young gun. The mission doesn't send you to Sacred Relic at this step, it sends you to Argon. I am going to test the correct start and search for a ship in Argon. :D
I'm not even sure how you scanned for one, 2nd how you saw that data leak was magic, I wouldn't have found it. The game just isnt visually easy to look at. Things shouldn't be hard to find. I'm trying to get into it but when the most basic thing like getting started seems impossible?!..........
I don't want to read a book or watch multiple tutorials to play the MOST advanced games made. They need to do a better job of incrementally teaching all the controls through a campaign style playthrough. This not holding your hand start BS is completely ruining gaming. The FIRST option on the start screen is FLIGHT TUTORIALS?!!! NO, I just want to press START and be blown away, not complete a 4 year degree to play a 10 year old game.
I like Boso. He´s fun. Bit annoying, yes, but i´ve seen worse. WAY worse. A good tip is to use one of those connection parts before installing the dock, to avoid repeated crashes. Plus maybe a cross connector (or whatever they´re called, i forgot). Leaves more space for further enhancements. That "bottle" is an "Erlenmeyer flask" or "titration flask". Never watched Breaking Bad?

The mission is still available in 6.0... as long as you did not download or if you disable the Kingdon's End DLC.

if you add money for the estimate the builder/station will buy the items needed.

Just started a fresh start to see why I wasn't able to stream line stuff at the start like you were able to, and, it's because stuff has changed with the start. Straight away Bota says "Oh I'll be in touch with you, right now I've got to go." or something like that, so, I think that things have changed a bit due to one of the two DLC's that launched since then (probably the Kingdom's End DLC). I think they even cut out the section where you save Bota, etc, because, at least in my most recent playthrough, PHQ was directly related to the untested Explorer quest line involving testing out the shut down jump gate. I went there specifically to do that mission because I hadn't heard from Bota... and boom... the PHQ just appeared in the sector. IMO, that was a bad call on their part to cut that whole first part of the quest line out. I mean, okay, sure, it's a sandbox start, but, that's one of the base starts that someone new is probably going to want to start with, and this retcon bypasses a lot of stuff that, imo, someone new to the game should be aware of. I mean, I've hundreds of hours across the old disc version of X3 and the one I bought from steam since nobody (including me) seems to have CD or DVD rom drives anymore, and, even coming from that, just enough stuff changed between 3 and 4 that I ended up appreciating the way that start was.
That said, your advice is still solid, I'm just annoyed at the design decision itself because that older mission path goes step by step and implements things as you go, the new way absolutely had me confused AF, like getting bombarded all at once. They could absolutely have kept the addition of the dock and cut that mission out, and that'd have been fine, but, the way it runs now (not Galactic Exchange anymore) you go from having no base and not other ships given to you by the quests to BOOM getting the whole PHQ plot quest dumped on you all at once and still not having any other ships. Sure, there's the Oddyseus only a few systems over, but, that takes some doing, skill, and blind luck to get it without getting blown to hell.
Sorry, this is absolutely part rant that has nothing to do with your guide other than, imo, your guide makes me miss the old quest line.

This PHQ main mission can certainly be ambiguous. The instructions are frequently non-existent. For Escape Plan I have "fly to Hewas Twin V". I do that, and it leads to an empty spot in space. Then just ends.
Edit : I had to get into the abandoned ship, and fly to the marked spot on the map. FWIW the instructions I was given said that boarding the abandoned ship was optional.
...again. "Test out the transporter!!" Doesn't tell you where to go, or how.
Edit : For anyone else who's curious. On the map you can right click on an owned asset, and teleport there so long as it's in range. Higher research gives more range.
Any tips on what to produce on the station? It doesn't seem like the best location in the game and trade is kinda slow! I do remember that you can teleport the phq to wherever you want at later levels but what about the original sector it's in?
I've been playing x4 for a month now, I never had whatever you did in this video, I tend to accept the mission that leads you to heretics end where he magically teleports the station with an already built dock, and after you dock and talk to him, he just gives you the phq for free and suggests starting research. Is this tied to the game start?
part of main quest sort of.. U will get it when accepting to help with the disabled jump gates questline.

As an X2 alum who bought X4 and all the DLC a few weeks ago, and am completely sucked in (and would kill for Boso Ta), I don't love the PHQ and in particular teleportation. Breaks the game a bit if you can ping across the galaxy in an instant with a pocket full of contraband
Every time I attempt this introductory mission, the moment I come through the anomaly, I am attacked and killed by other ships. Is this normal? I didn’t see it happen in this video. Very frustrating.
Until he's attacked? I've done that like 3 times in a row with 0 attacks.
The shitty part, is that it's a slow travel drive. You can't keep up with boost, even if you had unlimited boost, but your travel drive will be faster than theirs. Unless you know(and I'm fairly certain that the game doesn't TELL YOU THIS...) that you can 'match speed' with the travel drive. just turn match off a few times to catch keep the right distance.
When i do the long range scanner all i get is beep no purple shit, i have been stuck on the part where you need 3 ships , every time i hit SHIFT - F , nothing happens unless i have something targeted even then it does not work been trying for 6 FUCKING HRS , starting to get rather pissed.
Can you help me , What am i doing wrong, the left shift -f , Does nothing but makes a weird sound, holding it for 2 seconds does nothing.
I have played 12 hours...did not know how LR and SR scanners worked. I thought I just need to toggle them on and off.
Just downloaded the game yesterday, so 'clueless' -- my question: at approx. 9:30 point in video when you harvested the 'crystals' there was a brief pop-up on-screen indicating "illegal goods..." -- will there be issues trying to land at a station to sell the crystals later? Those are unstable crystals which are an uncommon drop from those shards. You'll get fined by the police if you hang around a station too long. Until you know how to land quickly its safer to jettison them as they are fairly easy to get if you need any in the future

In the X4 full PHQ quest, does the abandoned frigate, Gorgon Vanguard, appear during the quest? or was it there from the start of the game?
In other words, can you get it before starting the PHQ questline?
That I'm no sure about. I think that the PHQ quest triggers after you find the data leak, as the mission locations you need to travel to change depending on which station you find it at. Or the quest triggers are different with ever game seed. Honestly not sure which

After the point where boso asks for help what I get is NOTHING like what you are getting. I'm being told to fly to backhole sun IV and it skips straight to the part for the freighter escoprt, but the freighter is bugged and wont dock to pick him up.

would be nice for the uninitiated if you said what buttons you are pressing to do things, all i have wanted since this game came out was the humble merchant start but they have gated it behind a freaking achievement hence why i have stuff all playtime on it and are pushing buttons like a drunk monkey trying to figure things out
I want that antimatter Boom; I need that on a Torpedo or something; would make a great gift for a Xenon, or two; Ok after that gunnery demonstration, replace primary weapons with Heavy Heatseeker Launchers. BTW can you tow that HQ someplace useful? Just wondering.
Have you tried the Starburst missile? It has a very large explosion. The PHQ can't be towed, but you can research teleport and move it around the galaxy

How do I know which station I should scan to start the mission?
Whenever I hit Dock to Trade the ship just sits there and eventually says the order failed. I select the ship, right click the station, select Dock to Trade, and nothing. Did something change in the game since this video was made?
Edit: The answer is yes, something changed in 5.0 that made that not possible. You have to discover the entire route yourself before the other ship will travel it. I traveled all the way to the warf and then gave the other ship the order and then it worked. I don't know why they changed it.

Are some of the locations I'll be sent to randomized by the game, perhaps depending on which 'start' I begin the game with? Reason for asking: I started with 'Young Gun' start, and when I reached the point after finishing the dock where I'm to go escort the decoy, etc. I am not sent to 'Sacred Relic' as you were in video -- instead my mission indicates I'm to go to lower-right portion of 'Black Hole Sun IV' -- and as I approached I was mobbed by Xenon (spelling?) and killed extremely quickly. Reloaded previous save, and same mobs attacked as I approached the area indicated by the mission (in 'Black Hole Sun IV'). Have I broken my game -- is this a bug/glitch? Not able to advance the mission to finish getting the PHQ, as I have not means to fight/survive against the hostiles in that location.

Mission locations are semi random. That Xenon patrol was just bad luck. You can try to attack them and lure then towards a station, or wait for an Argon defense fleet to arrive
Sorry for getting annoying again, but i have an important question: i´m about to start the whole Mass Teleportation Research, and i want to know: can i teleport OTHER stations in my possessions as well? And into other sectors? Because that´s what i currently need the most.
I tried building a Death Wall station at the The Void southern Jump Gate, it was painfully slow because the Xenon didn´t like my idea of putting a plug in their hole.
Thus i hope to be able to teleport a big, juicy, heavily armed Defense Station that i build in a secure region without constantly getting the Construction Site blown to pieces.
the only station that you can teleport is the PHQ, all others have to be rebuilt

Build HQ as a Defensive powerhouse, use it to block Xenon sektor Jump Gates, construct defense base normally, teleport HQ to next Xenon sector Jump Gate...

What system is the data leak in? And also can you do this mission if you start off as a terran?
Any station can have the data leak to start the PHQ mission chain, its not specific to sector. Terrans have their own mission chain for the PHQ which you get right away. Its the one where you start fixing satellites

I just accidentally flew into Heretics End and the PHQ spawned and was owned by me. Is that a bug? I didn't need to do any quests
I had the same happen. I didn't scan for data leaks or whatever. I followed the mission for the other story and Boson Ta is involved in it and just immediately asked me if I wanted the station. I'm brand new and was struggling to find out wtf to do with this station, how to do research, etc and unfortunately all mentions to PHQ are outdated. It seems with the newest DLC, we just... get it. So the only part of this video that matters if you own the most recent DLC is the "Meeting up with Boso" onwards.
It has changed since the last update, it confused me at first to. Just ignore that part of his guide, as those quests do not exist the same way with the kingdoms end dlc or whatever
So I got my phq. What should I build on it tho? Do I make a trading station like like one in capt Collins trade station tutorial or what? A factory?
You will need container and solid storage to finish all the research so installing refined metals, teladianium, or silicon wafer factories will allow you to reuse them. The big advantage of the PHQ is that it can move (although it is very, very expensive to do), putting wharfs and shipyards on it and teleporting it where you need it. If this is your first station build a good place to start is with energy cells and ore refining.
@@JKNinja I see. I tried to Google on what to do with phq, and I've seen people that's againts using phq as a factory since it would be much more efficient to just make it somewhere else. But yeah this is my first station so I guess I'll make a refinery out of it like you said. Thanks

You can teleport it, but it requires all five levels of teleport research so will take awhile

where did you travel to get the specific dataleak on the station?
It's the station that you start in for the Young Gun, but any station's data leak will have a chance to start the PHQ storyline

It would be cool if the crystals had of a purpose then selling them to make money ... Like the crystal are used to build weapons and each type of Crystal has a different effect on the weapons... Some give better range some give better damage output etc.. give the poor moron a break I mean boron 🤗 you would be a chatterbox if you didn't have somebody to talk to for a long period of time too😁
I didn't mind him until I made this video. I did the run twice before recording to make sure I wouldn't accidently skip things (I'm sure I still did somehow), now I realize that guy really does talk a lot. I do like the Dal Busta calls him boso condescendingly and he doesn't get it because that's actually his name!

it will spawn during the mission to protect the trader but will stay there until you claim it

@@JKNinja I think I figured out the issue. I did not use the same start. I used the young gun. The mission doesn't send you to Sacred Relic at this step, it sends you to Argon. I am going to test the correct start and search for a ship in Argon. :D

I'm not even sure how you scanned for one, 2nd how you saw that data leak was magic, I wouldn't have found it. The game just isnt visually easy to look at. Things shouldn't be hard to find. I'm trying to get into it but when the most basic thing like getting started seems impossible?!..........
I don't want to read a book or watch multiple tutorials to play the MOST advanced games made. They need to do a better job of incrementally teaching all the controls through a campaign style playthrough. This not holding your hand start BS is completely ruining gaming. The FIRST option on the start screen is FLIGHT TUTORIALS?!!! NO, I just want to press START and be blown away, not complete a 4 year degree to play a 10 year old game.
I like Boso. He´s fun. Bit annoying, yes, but i´ve seen worse. WAY worse.
A good tip is to use one of those connection parts before installing the dock, to avoid repeated crashes.
Plus maybe a cross connector (or whatever they´re called, i forgot). Leaves more space for further enhancements.
