- This video was shot during first phase of Covid pandemic when everything was shut.. I lost my laptop charger and had no choice but to explore how can I use laptop without its charger. While looking for solution to my problem I had observed some of the TV chargers do have same wattage as used for laptops. my inquisitiveness to explore a TV charger tooke a step further to explore if it could solve my purpose. Yes it did and I used a TV charger to charge my laptop till lockdown was lifted. I shot video on purpose to educate people to look for solutions around when we are stuck no option at all. However there is always risk involve while working with electronic devices, it is anticipated to take enough precautions before getting influenced with content available on internet. The video posted do not encourage to take risk with electronic components or devices, ones who choose to explore must be responsible for his/her risk taking.
No one should get influenced with the video to do it yourself as the idea behind posting video is not to influence people but to educate about solutions available around us. It must be one's capability and accountability to take risk or loss that may occur due to practicing or exploring with electronic devices.

I have a laptop. but I need the right charger for it too work.the PlayStation 2 cord is not enough current to charge the laptop.the ps2 cord is 8.5v. 5 Amps and the input from the computer is 19.5volts 3.25amps.

My mom has a speaker charger and i look at the voltage ⚡ it's 19.V 2.9A and my computer input is 18.5V 3.5A, 19.0V 4.74A. So I don't know if 2.9A is strong enough.

open the inside of the pin - connect the other end - see how the inside is connected while opening - a lil tricky but works....might need some tinkering like soldering & a heat-sink wrap ...gud luk
