Hello lovely people, welcome back to a no bake, Oreo, cheesecake video. This is a really easy dessert recipe for over the Christmas period, no oven required. I hope you enjoy, and please let me know if you make it, I love to hear feedback from you all.

No bake, Oreo cheesecake recipe
30 Oreo biscuits
50 grams unsalted butter
250 grams mascarpone cheese
3 heaped tbsp icing sugar sifted
270 ml Elmlea double cream
Process Oreo biscuits till you get a fine crumb, if using a ziplock bag and rolling pin to crush, scrape out the cream from the biscuits first, you can either add the cream to your biscuit base, or to the cheesecake mixture.
Melt butter in the microwave and add to your biscuit crumbs and mix till all the crumbs are coated. Place the mixture in the bottom of your baking dish and press down to cover the base. Put in the fridge to set.
Mix mascarpone and icing sugar in a bowl till creamy and well combined. Whip cream till stiff peaks form but don’t overwork it. Add whipped cream to cheese mixture in 3 lots. Break up 6 (or as many as you prefer) Oreo biscuits into the mixture and then put over the biscuit base, leave in the fridge overnight to set. Decorate as you wish and enjoy ☺️ xx

Lynn,when you want to cut a biscuit use a serrated knife,use a sawing motion,and you should be able to cut most of the Oreos without breaking them.I have worked as a pastry chef for many years,and have made lots of cheesecakes,but most of them here are the baked kind,known as New York style cheesecakes,very rich,made with Cream cheese,and eggs.That cake will be delicious,and easier than baked.
Oh thank you for that tip Janet, I’ll remember that one, you must have made some beautiful bakes, I bet it’s very hard work though on your feet all day. I’ve never made a New York Cheesecake myself, I’ve watched videos of people making them and they look very rich. Any more tips would be gratefully appreciated 🤞❤️❤️❤️

This is an awesome recipe to use for the hot summer month as well. Not having to turn the oven on when it's so hot outside would be great wouldn't it. Who doesn't love Oreos. Even vegans eat Oreos. Sorry your mixer honked out on you right when you needed it. I use my food processor all the time too. It's a great tool to have in the kitchen. If my dies on me, I will be right out to get a new one. Great video my blue apron friend. hehe
Oh it’s such an easy one, but looks like you’ve been at it for ages hahaha. Well you’ve taught me something new ballerina, I didn’t know that vegans eat them too. I made a chocolate cheesecake years ago with chocolate digestives and cottage cheese top I seem to remember putting lemon juice in it to make it set but it was delicious.I can always sqeeze a slice of cheesecake in as it is my favourite dessert.x😊

Oh it is Marilyn, and so many ways to decorate it, you can get really creative. I could have thrown that blender through the window, it’s gone to the tip now, so I’m o the hunt for a reasonable priced new one, don’t know why I get so excited about a new blender hahaha but I do ❤️❤️❤️

That looks very easy to put together but i would use other biscuits as i am not a lover of Oreos and i do like the idea of adding lemon curd yummmm

I love cheesecake Lynn. Years ago we used to buy it by the slice because it was so expensive from the deli. It was plain with sultanas in. I’ve never tasted one as nice since. You’ve set my taste buds int overdrive now 😊

Hi Lynn, cheesecake looks lovely and I'm sure will go down a treat on Christmas day. You can get a box of mini oreos fro Tesco. Much easier than trying to cut in half. Saying that it will deprive you of tasting😜😜❤❤❤️

Great video Lynn cheesecake looks and sounds yummy 😋 an easy bake for you is lemonade scones instead of using sugar. Recipe is 3 cups of SR flour 1 cup double cream & 1 cup of sprite lemonade. This is the only recipe I use now and they always turn out great. Have a great week ❤

Hi cheese cake yum , I use to buy the packet one many moons ago hahahaha . Here in Italy Mascarpone cheese is used a lot in making things , the most famous is Tiramisu that I do make .( Now Tiramisu in English means pick me up )😅. You can see backing is your passion. Ciao ❤️🦘😋

That cheesecake looks yummy I will be making that for my grandson (my daughters son) who is 14, he doesn't eat cakes much but he said he prefers cheesecake and I know he likes oreo's so that will be a treat for him. I watched one of your vids yesterday think it was shopping vid and unfortunately couldnt comment at the time because I had a sickness bug but anyway you got all emotional about the Christmas bauble. You never forget Lynn. I lost my mum just after my 21st birthday and that was a long time ago (I'm 70 at Hogmanay) but it never leaves you. Creeps up on you unexpected, you hear a tune she liked or someone says something that she used to say and it brings it all back. So, we are only human after all and it's natural to feel that way.. Oh it was trying to explain it that got me, I struggle to talk about her without crying. It’s so cruel to lose your mum at such a young age, my heart breaks f§or you Ellen, it really does. You got that so right, just little things, I’m at it now, writing this ❤️ oh they are ideal aren’t they, I never throw them away, and I reuse zip seal bags, I wash them out, dry them and put them back in the drawer. I don’t like waste of any kind, take after my lovely mum. Very soon lovely lady ❤️❤️❤️

Never bake, made a lemon drizzle cake a couple of times which was a big hit ( with me 😂😂) so being overweight since I was a child I don’t put temptation in my way, however at the age of 72 I will be following all your cooking and baking and will be trying the ones I fancy, definitely making this as my nieces husband loves Oreo and they are coming to mine on Christmas Day, thank you Lynn x
Lemon drizzle is my absolute favourite to make, I think I did my first ever baking video showing a lemon drizzle. Just doing the ones you fancy is a good way to enjoy little moments, I bake, and give away, but not before Ive had some 🫣 well it’s easy, and if he likes Oreo’s, winner winner ❤️❤️❤️

I’ve made a Mary Berry lemon and lime cheesecake before. It’s a great hit with my family. The Oreo’s one looks equally delicious especially for children. Another super video Lynn. You’re so entertaining and natural especially when your blender broke down. You had me chuckling throughout and you didn’t forget about the cupcake, cook’s treat 😃😋. Planning my Christmas menus as i have 2 visitors staying over for 5-6 days. I could make a cheesecake for pudding. Not sure i would make it chocolate but as you say use other biscuits. Like the idea of lemon. Hope you can get the processor fixed. Im veggie so on the hunt for a nut roast recipe different to my usual one. ❤

I left it in the container that I made it in, wrapped it in about 3 lots of cling film to make sure it was sealed properly, and that’s it really. I suppose if you needed your tin, you could wait till it was frozen, then take it out of the tin, and cover with the cling film just the same, then put it back in. Once it’s frozen it will keep its shape. Aw you’re very welcome Sharon ❤️❤️

Oh it’s a winner Jennifer, they’ll love it. The headbands have become a thing now, on my baking videos, I initially wore one to keep my hair off my face, but so may people commented that I decided to wear one on them all, just for fun really. It’s gone to mixer heaven, I’m on the hunt for a new one. I’m going to get some little ones on my next trip to Tesco lol. Well you know how there’s a thumbs up and a thumbs down under every comment, well if you press the one next to the thumbs down you can reply to that comment, a few people on my channel do it, and chat away to each other, it’s lovely really. They share tips and things. I’m not sure about the man though, I’ve had a few strange ones, I ignore them, I think they might be weirdos lol ❤️❤️❤️

3 lots of cling film to make sure that it’s completely covered. You could also put foil around it once you’ve done the cling film for an extra layer, but I haven’t ❤️❤️❤️
