Tbh my opinion on Marilyn Manson, is that he is a brilliant man with a high priority level and exceeds above all others when it comes to giving the message to other people of being yourself and not being afraid to wake up who you are every day that you live. He has this contradictory towards him that makes other people feel uncomfortable, but they don't see the meaning behind the things that he does and says so they don't understand why he does things that he does. He's very kind, and is an intelligent human being. I think the thing that people respect most about him, is his ability to see the world like not many can.

I grew up with Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Korn, Slipknot, Disdurbed etc. But Marilyn Manson was the one that really stuck with me while I grew up. I remember watching his music videos for the first time when I was about 10 or so and loving his art form. Now that I'm older and can truly appreciate the lyrics and symbolism I love Marilyn Manson's music even more.

Manson is definitely different than other musicians because he studied journalism before becoming an artist. He pays attention to news and he writes what he sees in media or in the world in his music. Not to mention he always has a real artistic way of expressing himself that he is for sure not afraid of showing. That’s is why I think he stays relevant to this day!

His lyrics show intelligence and depth, his appearance is to bring the attention, the beats, to keep that attention, and the lyrics, to make you THINK. I don’t care what people say, Marilyn Manson has always been my favorite. He’s incredibly intelligent and very lyrical. His videos show it along with his interviews. He’s the first rock artist I’ve listened to and thanks to him I’ve branched out to more rock and metal bands/genres. I hope I can meet him in person one day.

Aye, The Reflecting God is one of Marilyn Manson's best IMO. Most bands in general don't make music videos for their really good music, you have to be a fan and listen to the album, otherwise you usually don't even realize the song exists... (music videos are made for the mainstream...)

I never really understood the real meaning until I watched the og video and then your reaction video; it's really great that you as a "new" metalhead are opening my eyes to these songs that I can see in a new light not. I don’t care what people say, Marilyn Manson has always been my favorite. He’s incredibly intelligent and very lyrical. His videos show it along with his interviews. He’s the first rock artist I’ve listened to and thanks to him I’ve branched out to more rock and metal bands/genres. I hope I can meet him in person one day.

Now the reason for this message is I seen in a previous video a few days ago you had shirts with the Mona Lisa painting on it but with Marilyn Mansons face in place of hers. Now Im a HUGE Manson fan and have been for 26 years (that makes me feel really old lol), and Im not talking about just a fan, I literally had every shirt that was made along with every CD including the singles and import CDs/singles and even more memorabilia thatd blow your mind. I was even 1 of 50 "adopted into the Marilyn Manson Family" (it was a special offer for ppl in the fan club).

Aye, The Reflecting God is one of Marilyn Manson's best IMO. Most bands in general don't make music videos for their really good music, you have to be a fan and listen to the album, otherwise you usually don't even realize the song exists... (music videos are made for the mainstream...)
I'm enjoying this channel because all these songs are classics to me (I'm 50), and it's fun to see you react to them for the first time. It's fun to hear you come to many of the same conclusions about these songs as I have over the years, and I think you have a great way of explaining and deconstructing the songs and music you hear. Very cool video . First of all, thanks for the pep talk at then end, didn’t know I needed it 😂. The Dope Show to me is one of the most interesting songs out there, especially considering that the US has a celebrity as a president. Manson is a genius and I always find things that surprise me either in his imagery or in his music even after multiple listens.
