The Beautiful People. Sweet Dreams. This Is The New Sh!t. Just a couple of suggestions. I haven't put much thought into it, but Manson really doesn't seem to want to fit into 1 genre, which I think is uncommon and interesting.
I appreciate you and anyone else who gives him serious credit and tries to look beyond the surface that they might find shocking (though, no one really should, but that's not my place to say.) The amount of MM songs that are amazingly deep are endless....I would suggest staying away from the super popular singles and covers (not because I don't like them, but there is just so much more). Third Day of a Seven Day Binge! Probably one of his best most mature songs ever, and a great video too. No Reflection would be fun to see people react too just because...well, those in the know would know why. Or even better.... Running to the Edge of the World (that might shake some people up... I wouldn't recommend anything else on Eat me Drink Me. It is him at his only true weak moment artistically for reasons i won't get into). And Overneath the Path of Misery.....not only are these all great songs, they will be fun to see reactions too. very "unsafe" hehe :)

They were friendly at a certain time in history, due to certain historical events they and their music were both caught up in, but I would say they were never “good friends”.

I've loved listening to marilyn Manson since I was three. Not joke, I made my birth dad at one point burn me a CD of Marilyn Manson, and every morning I would get up and listen to it.

I'm not a big fan of Manson's lyrics either, but I do have to admit that the music in this one was pretty dope. I will say, as someone who doesn't know much of his music, I loved his cover of 'Sweet Dreams."

I think every new person to manson needs to start in this order. Sweet dreams, beautiful people, dope show, coma white, I don't like the drugs, obscene, kill4me. Shows alot of his diversity.

Honestly you have to watch Mansons song from waaay back in the day called Torniquet... that video is still kick ass 20+ years later.. he was a different energy back then so it was waaaaaaaaay more intense, creepy, cool... yep!
