Like AI said, practice. I learned to drive stick later in life because I was becoming a UPS delivery driver. I had to take my road test in a package truck with know power steering, I passed and honestly like you said it becomes second nature. But I will say to those trying to learn to drive a stick, don’t give up because it takes practice and time and nobody is perfect. Just remember grind it until you find it lol

I have someone who is teaching me and let me tell you, it's very nerve shaking, especially going uphill. You have to keep so many things in mind while not riding the clutch. Wish me luck! So far I've been driving around town trying to avoid uphill for now. Today, I may try an uphill to try and get comfortable with it. pheww! I get off my car nervous and sweaty. hahaha!

Peter Reeves I always keep it in neutral. One time I had it in reverse or 1st gear and I dumped the clutch... it launched me forward or backwards depending on which. Don’t ever do it lol

Brated do you always do that? That's going to kill your clutch, especially in neutral because there's no need for the clutch to be down in neutral! You should never coast driving at speed letting the car slow - how does anyone behind you know the car is braking if you aren't applying the brakes and therefore lighting up your rear brake light?
Simply tap on the break then immediately down shift allow the car to settle , then down shift again and bring the car to a slower speed when approaching your stop or turn . I prefer to keep the car engaged in gear while approach a stop vs neutral . At the point of having the car in neutral you have little to no dynamic control at that point .
Putting yourself into neutral especially at that speed is so dangerous. Learn to revmatch downshift to engine brake. People who only rely on neutral and brakes are stupid and will never progress to be a better driver.

Blast Processing I’d say 3-3500rpm so it doesn’t stalk so much next gear. Try to get used to feeling the car needing it’s gear changes. Also, it might be jerking more due to letting the clutch off too soon. Ease off it and ensure your giving it more gas

When in FIRST GEAR release the clutch a bit(halfway) and listen to the BITING POINT , add gas then release clutch FULLY

Most modern cars have hill assist, specifically STIs and WRXs for sure. Depending on trim, if you got a base model idk if they have it
