The conference record tiebreaker would have gone HOU 1, KC 2, BUF 3. Bills and Chiefs flip flop seeds (BUF would host PIT in the wild card game), KC gets a bye, and Houston has homefield throughout the playoffs
Wow I like Wandstead as a coach but to kick the extra point with a 1 point lead and only 3:05 left on the clock is horrible. Could have lost by a field goal

These were the years that the Chiefs teased us as fans. Great regular seasons, but never getting to the Super Bowl.
I bought season tickets when Carl showed up. 28 years later I had to quit going and then they win 3 of 4 super bowls. I'm 70.

I sure do not know what happened to nearly 5 thousand seats at Arrowhead. Capacity was nearly 78,000 now it's a little over 73
