but isn't social distancing the whole reason people die from a flu? That was literally the opening statement from the video. Not to mention, the fact that social distancing by social beings like humans can cause deaths too.
The Lighteye carrier becomes immune once they clear the virus just like any other infected person. Once an antibody test is developed, some people may be surprised to find out that they are immune even though they do not recall being sick. This is because they carried the virus with no symptoms and then recovered. Asymptomatic carriers still develop antibodies like anyone else. I once did an antibody test for fifth’s disease and was shocked to find out I had antibodies for it as neither I nor my parents recalled me ever having had it. I was likely just a carrier.
@@allyd5021 exactly, the issue though, comes with the virus taking so long to incubate, meaning your body probably has the virus but hasn't started fighting it yet, and even if you never develop symptoms because your body got rid of the virus before it affected your constitution, you could've infected others in the meantime. Herd immunity works when the virus is quickly identified and fought by your antibodies, on top of it not being able to survive for long periods of time on surfaces where infected and carriers may leave the virus/bacteria on.
We'd have to wait and see. If the body identifies it quickly and fights it off swiftly, then it could work, as they won't be carries. Now, herd immunity doesn't mean the sickness will be magically cured or anything or will be prevented at all, it's just a study on how contagion works, but you can never be 100% sure a bunch of non-immune people won't end up getting infected even while sorrounded by immune people, which in the case of covid, due to it having such a long incubation period and there not being a cure as of yet, you won't find out until much later on, in which time you could have infected dozens.
Practical solution yeh hain ki lock down ko kholna padega kyunki vaccine abhi nhi aaegi toh 1-2 months ke baad toh kholna hi padega aur isme bohot saare aged marenge toh isse hum kuch nhi krskte isliye vohi solution hain

Well explained in simple way. Gud job done.
It depends on R value...not necessarily 60-70percent

Isn't a carrier immune? They can still pass it without getting sick
Carrier is not immune.. carrier is infected but asymptomatic person..
@@sajidmicrobiology So once the person recovers from COVID-19 that person would become immune?

This is good if large number of population is with good immune power
👍👍
I got it. Thanks for ur explain 🙂
How Germany says they will start issuing immune certificates. Will it work?
