Love the design and attention to detail. Only suggestion is light colors really help small spaces feel bigger. Considering you use tri-layer and 'blackout' fabric, you don't need to use black color interior. A very light grey fabric color inside will go along way to help the interior feel more roomy and not trigger claustrophobia. Love that you increased the pitch to 40º to help give a bit more foot room. Love the new u-bar that doesn't need to be extended. V3 - Put functional high awnings (maintain visibility) to block rain over the side doors - so we can have all the doors open to enjoy a nice afternoon rain
Appreciate the feedback! We thrive off of customer suggestions. We went away from side awnings a long time ago and don't really plan on going back. It was based on customer feedback that the spring rods would pop out in bad weather and scratch customer's vehicles 😬
I agree...a video installing the 270 to the Aspen V2 would be helpful. Also I can't seem to fit any bedding in the V2 and get it to close, so that might be a helpful vid as well
I've got a couple of videos that'll help you out! Here's our 270 Awning install video: ruclips.net/video/Gr4WSxucZQg/видео.html. Tanner installs it on a rack and a hardshell tent, so you'd need to skip ahead to the 4:18 mark to see the tent install. And here we have a short video that goes over some tips for how to deflate the Aircore Mattress to better fit bedding inside and close the tent easier: ruclips.net/user/shortsoCGXIl3S8ZY?feature=shared
Agreed! I got excited because he mentioned he was 6'3" just like me, then I was disappointed because he never laid down in it to show the room he had......that's actually the only reason I watched the whole video.
Great suggestion! We'll try to get a few videos recorded in the coming weeks with people in tents. Also, if you're in CO we'd love to have to swing by!
Not that it's a deal breaker but is there a reason for not having a ceiling window/skyview? I am also larger at 6'1'' and am hoping to fit a second person, as well as a dog on some trips, so a demonstration of the interior would be helpful. Perhaps you could demonstrate with a duffle bag or two next to you? I was about to pull the trigger on another company because someone was selling one locally for a discount but this has me hesitating. Thanks for the run through!
We will be coming out with a tent sizing video soon which features two of our employees laying in each tent to demo the size of it. One of those is Ben who is 6'3" and can fit comfortably in the Aspen V2. That video should drop next week and I think you'll find it very beneficial for what you're asking about!

@@texas2far Its the only thing keeping me from choosing this tent. Could be a deal breaker since I can't see one in person.
@@MaLa-th4up I live about 45 mins from Golden so I may have to go check one out. If I do ill keep you posted.
