You’re so beautiful & so is your hair. I recently cut my hair shorter than it’s ever been and it was scary transition lmao I thought I was ready but when she did the first chop I was like omg my life is over. I stumbled across your hair cutting video in my recommendations and I was like wow me too sis. You also probably have the closest hair texture to mine that I’ve seen cause usually curly hair RUclipsrs have either way curlier hair than mine or a lot wavier hair than mine. Basically the whole point of me writing this is because I really really like your videos😂
Exactly!! I agree😂😂 I just randomly found her account tonight and I’m totally down to cut my hair now. I think I’m going to tomorrow maybe at like “Great Clips” here in California haha
Oh you have such a sweet, soothing voice and accent!! (is that a specific accent?) I'd think we have very similar hair texture/pattern (which is a mix of different types of curls/waves) and I started changing my hair routine about the same time as you, therefore watching your journey is very interesting :) (especially when you talk about it in such a funny way as in your hair cut videos :D) Love from Germany! :)
You’re the sweetest! I have a slight Texan accent so that might be it haha. I’m glad my videos are relatable to you! I hope your day is absolutely lovely 💖🤓
you should try a sulphate-free shampoo that foams a little more, you really don’t need to clarify that often Make sure you add a lot of water when you wash you hair
stardust hiraeth Yeah I made a super-duper poor shampoo choices my first month into CGM and I feel like my low-porosity hair is still semi recovering from it :^( I was only using DevaCurl’s No-Poo and that was a huge mistake for our texture type. Thank you so much for you bringing that up; now I don’t feel so crazy for thinking it wasn’t doing anything for my hair lol. I think I’m gonna try DevaCurl’s Low-Poo and see if that fixes my clarifying issue
Johanna Cheryl is you’ve never tried, try the coconut co wash. My hair was always greasy after a day, and I was afraid to not wash. I wash once a week with cgm approved shampoo, but between that I was with the coconut co wash (cleansing conditioner), my hair feels and looks clean and no grease! Also, it’s amazing for detangling.
Johanna Cheryl yeah I use the yves rocher low poo and it works really well, it kind of feels like a thick conditioner at first but then when you add water it starts to foam, not as much as a sulphate shampoo would, but it does foam So yeah a low shampoo is a very good choice, co-washing works good on tighter textures but it just weighs down looser curls, I tried it once but my hair got greasy in 2 days
Hi can you please recommend what shampoo and conditioner I should use with my thin wavy hair? When I was a kid I really have kinky hair and as I grow older my hair have gone to straight from top to middle length and from bottom to middle it’s Curly. I want to revive my hair before
So I’m very new to this method. So my understanding is that I need a sulphate free shampoo to wash with once a week and if I wash more than once a week conditioner wash? Then put in my silicone/sulphate free styler?
@@JohannaDeutschman Do you have a link to them directly? I've just spent 20 minutes browsing their online earring section but couldn't find these. They're absolutely gorgeous! And I love your hair - we have the exact same curl pattern which I find to be rare. :)
And I'm not a strict curly girl. I like the concept. But I'm a firm believer a method is just that..a method. It isnt the only way. Only idea. Lots of the products are great for my hair and its taught me a lot. But at the same time its taught me how to properly clarify as well. So your way is just fine. And looks beautiful
Sorry to comment so much. But I love you explain your so many textures. A lot of people are. I think it would be weird if they were one type throughout. I'm transitioning and I have 2b...c...3a...and omg some 3b popping up. It's weird! But it looks like yours and I'm happy regardless.

We’ll get through this lol! What I didn’t film is the minor crisis I gave myself after cutting my hair off lol. Thank you so much! 💞💞💞

Loved not liked the video when you said you need to cater it to your needs not cgm needs.
