Hi Bret. You could keep running this theme for a while. So many instrumental gems that fit the brief. A few more to add to the list… a bunch of pieces by Felt (Song for Willian S Harvey is a good starting point), Blancmange Sad Day, Aussie band Midnight Oil Wedding Cake Island, there are a number of options from This Mortal Coil. As much as Low is such a brilliant piece of work I wouldn’t be so brave as to label it post punk but thanks for showing it.
Pieter Nooten and Michael Brooks some great stuff, love the alternate versions of the tracks from early CoX. One of my favorites instrumentals is "Clementina " from Twist of Shadow. Also, "Film" by The Church. Both are great conclusions to great albums.
Great call on The Church track from Priest = Aura. Yeah, it's always cool to hear the alternative versions of those Medusa-era songs indeed. Thanks for watching!
Thank you for these lists! I was unfamiliar with a lot of the tracks; definitely going to check them out. Glad to see that "Elegia" and "Oscillate Wildly" made the cut for the second video. A few more that come to mind: "Shambelle" by the Police, "D.N.A." by Flock of Seagulls and "Space Invader" by the Pretenders.
Bret dude awesome instrumentals that Cocteau twins song “Rococo" from Aikea - Guinea is top tier that was the first Cocteau Twins 12” i ever bought in the late 90’s . Low by Bowie is a staple tops for me . Man I was shocked when you pick the Pixies Cecilia Ann man that’s my jam Bosanova is my favorite Pixies album. The Smiths always have some solid instrumentals . Have a great weekend Bret
Lovell! Great to hear that you dig "Cecilia Ann" as well - such a cool song. "Rococo" is so good. I must've played it 10 times today. Thanks for watching! Have a great weekend too!
Hi Bret, again great picks a couple are new to me thanks I will listen to the playlist. A couple of more sugestions that come to mind: The Felt - Evergreen Dazed, Tubular Bells - Book Of Love version, DM- Nothing To Fear and the brilliant La Fête Triste from Trisomie 21. Best Regards, Joe.

Oscillate Wildly is great. Also, DNA by A Flock of Seagulls. Roxy Music have a couple of nice one's from Avalon. India and Tara. Cheers.
