G-tuned for me, all the way. I love that deep umami wooden tone, and the highs are still high enough to get a full bodied melody from most songs. Is it weird describing sound as a taste? xD
I really like the deeper F tone. is the F tone the same as the Key? -How do I change to the F Tone? - It seems you are playing the same fingering for the same song. Wouldn't changing the Key change the song melody? I know changing from the Key of C to G would change the sound of the F to F#. I really like the song you played, what is the title. You are a blessing to all who hear you. Thank you!!

I apologize if my comment is the weirdest one around, But I have to ask: Do you like cows? 🐄 I mean, I'd think so, with the prop And the colors and everything, but maybe there's more to the story... Like if you had a relative or friend who was a dairy farmer... or maybe You're a fan of the black-and-white aesthetic, or you love the sound "moo"... There's all sorts of reasons it could be, which is why I'm asking you. 🙂 [Now, I'll admit I'm impressed that you tuned all those kalimbas just for this demonstration, And I'm very grateful for your ending prayers and reminders in this musical presentation, But there are so many other comments here saying things like "Great job!" and "Wow!" Hi Jaichbinhier! I so LOVE your question because yes! I looooooove cows!! First of all, becuase when people ask, "what's your favorite animal?" Rarely would they be chosen. Usually it's a dog, cat, panda, you know, those fluffy ones. Plus! I love how random and irregular their spots are. That it's okay not to be a perfect circle. So that's why i think cows deserve to be chosen as a favorite, even by at least one person. Well now it's two becuase @Agneta Loves them too! 🥰

I've never gotten too close to them, but I've passed farms with some while driving before, And over the years I've had classmates and coworkers from dairy farming families too. Then again, if your fandom of cows becomes widely known, maybe the Philippines will get more. 🐮

I just bought my third kalimba (it's addicting), so I'm wondering how you store all of yours? You have so many! Do you put them on display somewhere or do you put them into their bags after every use?
Hahaha! I so understand why, i too have been in a phase of collecting phase before 😆 Hmmm in our climate here they are just on display. Though i do observe the tines for any sign of rusting. But to be on the safe side you can keep them in the pouch they came with or a case if it comes with one. :)
After watching +100 videos on kalimba I wanted C tone for sure .... However !!!!! Now I really want the F tone !!!!!! It sounds so gooddd why did you do this to me 😭

Sometimes all I hear is the overtones. I tried to pick a kalimba that had a more pure sound because the very high overtones overwhelm me and keep me from hearing the fundamental. I got the camphor wood in B and it sounds nice to me.

I have found that making sure the tines are arranged correctly, and to especially get each tine at an angle that achieves the best quality sound, is one of the key factors. Of course, the construction and materials quality of the kalimba can often make a big difference, too. Usually, like all things, you get what you pay for.

i've been up so many nights, researching and thinking what brand of Kalimba to get, I know I want a hollow kalimba. I've learned a lot by watching your videos Ms. Robin :) I really want the Gecko K17SD but it's kinda expensive hihihi, so I'm thinking of the Senda Electroacoustic. I bought a new C kalimba, and I retuned my old C kalimba to G. I really like playing the G, maybe more than the C. I think I'll get another kalimba and tune it to F. F sounds very rich and melodic in your video, and the others sound somewhat harsh, but I really wonder if that difference is more about whether the kalimba has a sound box or not, and the quality of the tines. It would be a better comparison using the same kalimba for all variations.
Great idea! I am currently pregnant and tuning one kalimba 7 times for each 17 keys (119 keys to tune in total) is too time consuming to be honest, thus the use of available Kalimbas. I hope you understand why i did what i did. :) Thanks for your feedback by the way. I appreciate it.

I just bought a Lingting k17s hallow kalimba and it is already tuned to major A i am replacing it's tone to major C but i don't know if it's correct already. What should i do? some sounds correct and some isn't for me i'm just a newbie.😖

i've been up so many nights, researching and thinking what brand of Kalimba to get, I know I want a hollow kalimba. I've learned a lot by watching your videos Ms. Robin :) I really want the Gecko K17SD but it's kinda expensive hihihi, so I'm thinking of the Senda Electroacoustic. Oh man, I don't know which one to buy for my first Kalimba.

I bought a new C kalimba, and I retuned my old C kalimba to G. I really like playing the G, maybe more than the C. I think I'll get another kalimba and tune it to F. F sounds very rich and melodic in your video, and the others sound somewhat harsh, but I really wonder if that difference is more about whether the kalimba has a sound box or not, and the quality of the tines. It would be a better comparison using the same kalimba for all variations.
Great idea! I am currently pregnant and tuning one kalimba 7 times for each 17 keys (119 keys to tune in total) is too time consuming to be honest, thus the use of available Kalimbas. I hope you understand why i did what i did. :)

For the white one it's still one of my favorites so I'll say yes. You can look at the kalimba links below. :) Because there are some kalimbas like this that had change the quality of the tines (like the blue and pink i used here in the video)
