i think the craziest part about this puzzle is that it's this late in the game, there's no pieces even near it, but that black pawn has not moved even once yet
Bh5, Either Queen has to take the rook or King has to take on bishop, 1. Bh5 Kxh5, Rxf3# 2. Bh5 Qxh2, Qg4# 3.Bh5 d6/d5, Qg4#, as Black Queen can't take on g4 as it's pinned by Rook. it was bit easier and needed lesser calculations. Anyways, keep the great work, Thank you.
It is Bh5 and I didn't take longer than a minute in this puzzle. Thanks for your puzzles, because of it I made it to 1600 elo in rapid and close to 1600 in blitz.
It took me 2-3 minutes of intense thinking to get this one. Is this really the level that's needed to get to a 1600 ELO rating? I feel like a novice after reading the comments on this channel.
I'm not really playing chess that much and I play it just if i get bored or need to get rid of random thoughts and refocusing. And you can reach above this level if you train in tactics you'll rise in no time. Just be patient.
Nice key! Mate in 2 problems has its own rules. (Never mind if white is winning easily for instance) To fully apreciate these problems I would suggest to enjoy the beauty of the keys (here it gives gives black a flight square, with a non forcing sacrifice), the different white tries, the "set" play (what happens if black moves first?), the "themes" and many other details... Its a wonderful world to discover. (Sorry, just tried to give my 2 cents...)
You are right. But I suppose this is not the purpose of this channel. There is a whole world to discover in chess composition, but to really appreciate this kind of chess, the complexity of the problems must increase a little bit. And I guess that the majority of the viewers don't have the level to resolve more complex problems. That's probably why we always get simple probems.
nice little puzzle as always. Sometimes your two movers are simple and easy. Although I love your 2 movers and 3 movers, I also enjoy the puzzles which have great tactical thought process and lots of learning. You always bring out the best puzzles. Thank you very much.
As it is not specidied MATE in 2, 1.Rxh3 is winning and fulfill the specification. So, please, be more precise in the specification. A mate in 2 is not the same as a study !
That must have been some amazing king walk for the white king to be on rank 8 while the black king is halfway into white territory too. And with queens still on the board. Anyways, thanks for the puzzle, and I actually solved it
I took a different approach this morning. By assuming the role of black, I resigned once the white rook pinned my queen. Thus, I denied white the satisfaction of mate in two! Ha ha. Seriously, thank you for letting me start my day without working my brain too hard.
Hello my friend. I don't follow really. It's stated mate in 2 in the thumbnail, in the video title and also in the video description. It's also the first thing I say in the video, I don't think it can be more explicit than that? :-)
@@Chess-strategy In both cases you say _win_ in two moves, which, to me, isn't quite the same thing - but I did admit that I was probably being picky! Cheers :)
That was the easiest puzzle so far, because of its very limited variations.
One of these moves I only found because you tell me that it is possible. I would never have found it in a real game.

Especially the center pawn like what??
Chess problems are not taken from a game played between 2 players. It is always a composition.

Because I watch your channel regularly, I can now solve simple two-move problems like this myself. 😀

Excellent, 2 in a row🎉
Best to say 'mate in two ' for this sort of puzzle as 'wins' implies some sort of combination... Chess jargon 101
After analyzing the situation, the move was obvious.
Got it after 5 minutes.
yeah! found it!

Nice and fairly easy puzzle!
Found that one - quite easy///

Weird how I saw the move but discounted it.
I saw it, all the way, for once. Maybe, I am getting better. tomorrow I will see that.
Saw the first move quickly, but then I overlooked the pin!🙄But found it in the end!
Is Q to g5 a single mover win
Solved, solved alwayz
Solved😊

Yay I finally got the correct answer on my own
Congrats mate!
same
@user-25352
Me too! First one I've worked out.
Whatever if D go to g2?
Nice, but pretty easy.
The only one I've got!
An easy one :)
Essyyy but i overcomplicated it...
Oh no, a l o t more difficult 😢 🤢
Very easy
Picky, perhaps, as it's obvious that the position is already won, for White, but you did not explicitly state _mate in two._ Nice puzzle anyway.

@@rogerkearns8094 Ah, I get it. No worries. I am sure you managed to solve this anyway! 🙂

Oh, I'm much too modest to admit that. ;)
Bh file again ??
