My idea the grafted beast
Godrick grafted into a amalgamation of monsters humans and animals including lugwig from bloodborne and father ariandel from darksouls
In the final phase father ariandel takes ludwigs moonsword and kills godrick by pouring magma from that goblet thing from his boss fight, and attacks you using the goblin thing as a weapon and shield. His boss fight ends when the player takes his sword, he tries to crush you with the goblet, the player cuts his legs off and he falls with the goblet falling on top of him spilling magma on him with a final area splash of magma

@@Detriax yes, a boss who can use both fire and magic and clone himself
@@Altus_Akdevan First of all, Darklurker doesn't do any magic damage, it is all dark damage, secondly, he doesn't do fire damage either, he does dark damage. Thirdly, Pontiff Sulyvahn's clone is temporary, the Darklurkers is permanent
@@Detriax Darklurker does do fire damage though. He has an attack that spawns an orange portal that launches 3 fireballs.
You know how Morgott should have been in the og game? Fights until his first hp bar is gone, then phase transitions and heals up again.
Ground fountains auto track you and more blood slices in a 4 hit combo.
Maybe he uses that huge spear in a multi hit 360 spinning attack.
I think morgott is literally a perfect bossfight, he just doesnt have enough hp dmg and poise for when most players get to fight him :(
I never really thought much of Morgott’s second phase. Aside from the ground exploding if he hits it, the only difference is bloodflame attacks that are easy to punish.
Not bad on the boss showcase, hope the boss theme gets uploaded soon, it sounds phenomenal

you should probably focus more on balancing the game more as most of the fights are legitimately impossible without having max level or cheat engine or both, the fights are cool yes but they dont really give a similar feeling to base game when you actually defeat it and in my case jus felt like a hassle.
Are there particular examples you have in mind? Because we do pretty carefully test damage numbers and stuff on each of these fights, but when we do it's usually through the lens of a certain progression path. It's tough taking into account all the ways of progressing through the game so I'd rather we restricted some of that and ensured that people fight these bosses at the envisioned point for them. For example Rennala is supposed to happen later than in Vanilla and as such she's scaled much higher, same for Radahn. Our next step is going to be focusing on making more content for the early game ideally, as by offsetting most of these midgame bosses into the lategame most people will think they're expected to deal with bosses that one shot them.
Would you say this is accurate? And if not, could you describe your particular gripes with the boss encounters?
Yes I do understand that the bosses are ment to be done later on to give players more of a challange, but getting into the mod feels worse as the player is forced to go into a weirder form of progression that means the player goes through godrick then to morgott so the player can progress. When I did my play through of the mod I had well over 2000 hours in the game so I think I am relatively good at the game but coming to these new bosses even with the advised vigor I was still getting one shot by relentless attacks. Upon using cheat engine to get to max level which felt annoying that I had to use to make the boss even remotely fun, I still had to use weapons such as the ryomon staff from the entire length of the arena because getting close to the boss was just suicide. I personally love the mod as it adds some of the best aspects from other fromsoftware games and the armour and weapons are amazing, but if I can't progress naturally through the game to some degree then I don't see the appeal and don't really want to replay it. On another note I did a large percentage of the run with a freind of mine on seamless coop and a lot of boss fights did not work such as entering odeon's arena or rennala's,apart from that I don't really have any other issues except early game progression.
@@yonaisaware Hmm, I see. Thank you for the feedback. I agree, we definitely need a better onboarding experience for players, raising them up the expected level and giving them easier access to better means of resisting attacks in the early game before people have access to things like the Greatshield Talisman. We'll try to address that with the upcoming updates. I have some interesting ideas for talismans already, related to defense I mean. Maybe even making the player stronger in general at the start.
And seamless is not a good experience rn for people with the mod. There are a lot of bugs that seemed to be related to it that we know about but have to consider how to tackle since Seamless isn't open source. If you still can and are not too annoyed at the mod I would definitely recommend a solo playthrough, but if you feel it's been a waste I guess all I can do is say that I hope we can live up to expectations as time goes on. and apologies for your bad experience ofc. i read all the comments and adjust bosses i make accordingly so don't hesitate to be rude about them as long as i can learn sth from it kek

The wings actually do look kinda good on morgotts second phase. Cant say im a fan of him summoning mogh tough, let alone his winged version since it takes the spotlight from morgott. Also, it is kind of an overkill to give the omen king a lot of poise at top of all that. Perhaps a better way to implement mogh (if youre gonna show him by this point in the game) would be to have his sewers version (the proyection) located at the place where you fight the golden Godfrey proyection and replace the mogh under the sewers for perhaps the frenzied omen we can fight on the mod itself.
What would happen with the Godfrey phantom then?
I believe a better idea would have been for him to conjure the Godfrey summon instead since it could have made for a nice dynamic on gameplay. You could have forgot being the one who is agresive and fast yet having low poise and maybe less physical damage but high holy damage while the Godfrey summon is slow yet hits like a tank physically. Kinda like the Ornstein and smough fight.
Also, when I say mogh "takes the spotlight" I actually wanted to say that he looks out of place as morgott doesn't really have a strong connection to the formless mother. He even sealed his cursed blood onto his blade.
The summoning dynamic works on rennalas boss fight since she does range attacks while radagon goes for meele attacks from time to time. It also make sense lorewise since she has a strong connection to radagon as she holds a great rune gifted by him. I doubt the greater will would want morgott to fight alongside a guy who literally wants to overthrow them.
Having Godfrey instead could be better since he's the one person who morgott respected so much to the point of making a golden phantom of him so he, on some way, could guard the erdtree alongside his father.
I know it sounds contradictory since I suggested to place the sewers mogh version on the Godfrey phantom arena. Yet if you guys think morgott should fight alongside his brother then perhaps it would be better to place him there. The vanilla game implies both of the brothers struck a deal to have might guard the entrance of the 3 fingers under the capital so both of them working together is possible yet not to the point of having a phase 2 mogh on the fight, even if he appears during few attacks.
There is a mod that does allow Morgott to briefly summon Godfrey’s spirit for certain attacks. This showcase kinda reminded me of it, actually.
Ill continue to pass on goe. Definitely not what i expect from a monetized mod.

The wing dose not fit him, should be horn or tail some sort of things. Also Morgott hate those demigods who disobey golden order, so there shouldn't be his brother come out. Maybe change to Margit instead would be better.
or godfrey, that would work too, and would also make sense given Morgott has already summoned godfrey's shade for the boss battle right before.
the wings could be a metaphor for “ascension” and they’re the only aspect of the crucible Morgott lacks in base, so I think it’s pretty cool. And I sincerely doubt Morgott outright hates Mohg. The demigods were all warring against each other and whatnot, but in a world where they’d be reborn from the Erdtree (except Omens lol) I don’t think you’d have to hate someone to go to war with them. They’re basically playing around to see who’s the strongest Demigod. Even as he’s calling them traitors, Morgott maintains a level of respect for his Demigod family, even referring to Godrick by his proper title of “the golden”.
I also think having a GOLDEN phantom of Mohg appear right after he’s granted the grace of gold adds a level of tragedy to his character. He wants so badly for his brother to be there with him, basking in the Grace of Gold under the light of the Erdtree as they always should have. He is overjoyed that his faith in the Erdtree was rewarded, and devastated that his brother isn’t there to share it with him. That’s how I choose to look at it anyway.
I do think this one suffers because morgott is already so well designed in general and making changes often does throw off the balance, but even with that stance of mine i still love that this was made for my fav boss in elden ring

I am recently joining this mod, and I took a quick look at all the overhaulmode videos, but it's too much, in Patreon I didn't get clarity either,
is there any guide, or recommended path to go through all the new stuff, without leaving things behind,
I mean I came to the mod with a new round table, with a new batch of weapons but I don't know how or why, it would be of great help, greetings.

A Convergence Devs thoughts: Not a massive fan of getting rid of his hops. And overall, I just am not a big fan of a lot of these changes. My main issue is the fact that a lot of the additional content is, like a lot of other people have said, not balanced in the sense of having a cohesive experience. Not only this, a lot of the additional content is just content from previous souls games, repackaged. The new bosses are cool, and they have cool mechanics, but they aren't designed with an actual full game experience in mind. So, it doesn't feel that good to play, and especially because there isn't good progression in terms of loot, especially new loot.
Hmm, I didn't remove the sidehops though. I did change up one of the combos he as out of his left-side hop but otherwise they're untouched bc i rly like them as well. But yeah, removing them would've been bad with how mobile Morgott needs to be.
I do think we need to expand upon what we've got, like i've told another person here as well, we're starved for early game experiences which hopefully new areas are going to help with that and contextualize these new bosses. I do have high hopes for the future content, in spite of the potential overlap with the DLC. hopefully it'll be to everyone's liking, but even then, i'm just glad i get to make stuff that i enjoy fighting rly. i do have a pretty weird design philosophy so it's understandable, but i'm always open to feedback so i appreciate yours

Honestly I wouldn’t have an issue with this mod if there wasn’t a paywall, the fact that there’s a paywall is disgusting when you consider 75% of the game is still the same
@@mihairus6353 Morgott's point was that he would engage and disengage smartly because of his low poise and health, comparitevly.
It will be way cooler if U remove his horns and give him nice and big human body just like Godfrey and so that means the erdtree finally accepted him

After the elden beast is killed the sky and water turn red and mohg comes back with new attacks including a second phase where he flies above, spawning bloody fingers and sanguine nobles and a new effect if you give him a effect like rot or poison he will bite his hand and shoot a stream of blood flame with what ever effect he was given
One question is the launcher of your mod separate from the main game ? Or we have to off easy anti cheat ?
Why are mod bosses effect cluster almost every time? Instead of giving them new and cool moves they just spam their attacks at triple speed and shoot projectiles every 3 seconds. This makes the bosses not fun but frustrating.
I appreciate your work but there's a big difference in having an cool fight and a cool looking fight.

Because the omen In the past was a blessing because he is A combination of all creatures like bird's bears turtles, mohg also get wings in his second phase

We did show everything we talked about tho, a challenge runner friend of mine and I had to collect clips of everything mentioned in the script and they all play at the right time.

That would entirely take away from the Placidusax fight, and make it an inferior fight. Midir is way more simple, way easier than Placidusax.

Will the Garden of Eyes mod be compatible with the Convergence Mod and Elden Ring Reforged Mod. Or will a fan need to make a mod that fixses a few things.
They all overhaul the entire game in completely different ways. It's kind of impossible to have any of them be compatible.
