Thanks, James, you are killing it. I'd ultimately love to see much more of your videos about 3D car printing and modelling. I find this so enjoyable to watch and follow along.
I have a good video cooking right now right up your alley. I’m going to do a torture test printing 1/25 scale bolts and hood pins and compare water wash vs standard resin to see if either is better👍
That interior looks fantastic! Your builds are so clean. I also have to say that your videos are top-notch and just keep getting better. It’s great to see your channel grow.
Your 3D Printing series convinced me to finally take the plunge, James! I got my printer and I’m setting up the accessory pieces and hope to print something very soon. Thanks for the inspirational push to help take the hobby in a new and exciting direction!
Really impressed with those decals. You make it look so easy! haha. Carbon fiber is NOT my specialty at all! If the rest of the build has this level of quality then look out everyone! Table stopper.
Looking awesome so far! Excited to see more progress! Keep up the great work, James! Your channel is one of my favorites!👍Sorry for being a little late, behind on videos.
Yes, this is going to be a really cool build James looking forward to seeing this build come together been watching this from the start of the printing stage great job on the interior
Great work on that interior James, looking amazing right there 👍🏼 oh wow, you have both Yaris and F40 LB coming.. can't wait for those 😊 well done for your channel achievements too 👍🏼
Thanks so much for watching. There are 8 pieces there, there is room for more details but there is a time constraint if I want to finish it in time for the show.
Looking great James. The conformal performance of the carbon fiber decals is impressive. Enjoying this build. Thanks for sharing. Can't wait to see those PZY kits. How do i buy one of them ? Seems a mystery to buy one when I search the internet for a source.
Hi Wayne, I agree that’s why I promote his business. Also PZY, they are a superior model company. To buy one you will need to order one from PZY direct, or a distributor like HobbyEasy. They are both looking for a distributor in the USA.
In hindsight I would have liked a slightly brighter metal finish than the titanium. But I didn’t want it to look like chrome. I’ll mix different metallics for the rest of the build for visual interest.
Hi Shooter, the belt material is from zoom-on resin. It is adhesive on the back but still somewhat stiff. It made it easier to thread through the buckle parts. It wasn’t strong enough adhesive to fold back on itself and hold so I had to use super glue to keep it together. The buckle PE was from MCG from my parts box.
Hi James, It looks really nice👍🏻 and this Miniature carbon decal seem to be easy going, I looked-up and I couldn't find it, where did you buy it? is it from that private group in FB? I looked also at STS decal website, they have cool stuff. I'm thinking about an Impala 1964 lowrider "gypsy rose", this car is really cool, I'm gathering info, I found manicurist rose decals that could do the trick, The paint job is hard, I also plan to try airbrushed nail polish, I will "steal" some from my wife to see how it sprays. Any luck with the vacuum-forming or forming without vacuum? Good continuation👋🏻
Hi Yves, Miniature is a private group on FB, I am an admin so I’ll approve you😁 STS decals are not of the same caliber as Miniature which are the best available. Nail polish is usually very transparent so make sure to lay down a similar base color. Think of nail polish as more of a candy coat. I have not tried windshields again but will soon. I want to get the body in clear quickly so it can cure for a few days before polish.
The only critique I have on the paint video I’m watching which I have no clue how you would do it at that scale. What’s the paint on the car is Matt black and then the little squiggly lines all over the car are supposed to be glass but not sure how you would do that . On a four size scar I would just reverse mask it and do a mat clear or hand sand it down with 1500 or 2000 mask off but on something that small I’m not sure. I don’t think it’s worth it though amazing, beautiful work,

Great video. Absolutely love that primer!
I need to buy the white and pink primers in 1500. It lays down so smooth. Thanks for watching 👍
@@ScaleModelExperiment I like the gray a lot, and the pink I have been using exclusively under any red shades. Works perfectly
@4trialsin I’ll have to get some!
wow that's looking awesome
Thanks Travis 👍
RIP Ken, this will be a great build and can’t wait to see the finished product. I hope you can make it up to the DAAM show as well.
Yes sir, I’ll bring it to Detroit👍 thanks for watching!

Not to sound like a commercial, it’s all in the decal themselves. I love Miniatures decals! They really do stretch and conform like no other.
Very cool!!!
Thanks Marcos! I appreciate you brother!
Looking forward to next week!!!

No worries at all FordMan👍 thanks for watching and supporting the channel.
I built a KB43 rally focus dio catching some serious air. It was a similr kit out of france. That kit was awesome.
Oh man! That sounds awesome. Any pictures online of it?

Looks like a really nice kit James.
It really is a great designed set of files. Wait till I get to the chassis. It’ll blow your mind!

Sleek metal finish on the interior surface ; )
In hindsight I would have liked a slightly brighter metal finish than the titanium. But I didn’t want it to look like chrome. I’ll mix different metallics for the rest of the build for visual interest.
@@ScaleModelExperiment Sounds like a plan; chrome would be too mirrory.
Looking good James. Will you be building the Polara as well?
Hi Scott, the Polara is a back burner project for now. Thanks for watching 👍
Amazing detail!! What did you use for the seatbelts?
Hi Shooter, the belt material is from zoom-on resin. It is adhesive on the back but still somewhat stiff. It made it easier to thread through the buckle parts. It wasn’t strong enough adhesive to fold back on itself and hold so I had to use super glue to keep it together. The buckle PE was from MCG from my parts box.

I have got to d/l that file this winter and have a go at it 😃😃
I think you’ll like the files. Fit is very good so far. Thanks for watching 👍
On the seatbelt harness, the top straps mount into the roll cage on the real car
Not to the roll cage behind the seats? To the roof roll cage?
My apologies I should’ve watched further into your video before I made a comment lol
Haha, they were painful to wrap around the roll cage 😂
Your attention to detail is impeccable, sir
