Hi! I was looking at the circuit and noticed that pin 5 on the 555 timer is not connected to anything. My understanding is that pin 5 is the control pin and used to ground any voltage fluctuations. Is there a reason why it is not connected here? Would there be a significant change if it was connected to ground through a 0.1uF capacitor? This is usually how I see it in other circuits similar to this. I apologize if my understanding is incorrect. I'm pretty new to this
I think you should've not flip the pcb everytime the component is placed only to see the connection, you can just show it at the end, great work

@@DIYLabs I tried it many times and it never worked. Even with the 3.3 uF cap not on the diagram. Speaker always on or if I low the potentiometer it turns off. No detection possible. Strange!
How many meters can the circuit detect?
in 2:00 i can't see where you put the capacitor 3,3 pf on your diagram....?1 and by the way... how voltage you use for the capacitor 10 and 100 uf ?? thanks...
3.3pF should be connected between pins 1 and 2 of 555 ic
And talking abt voltage rating ig 16V Or 25V is enough
in the diagram ain't 3.3pf capaciter, but when you are assambly all, you put one
it is just for noise reduction

You should reduce or increase the resistance
Is it possible to add LDR and led instead of buzzer and is there a way to control range it can work?

sorry, i seen that thanks. instead of buzzer, shall we use the DC Motor Oper. Volt : 3-6Volts. what will be modification need, kindly share it pls.
Try to use a relay.and a transistor base follower switch.it will work

I can see that you used 555 timer to operate the trigger pin of ultrasonic sensor with a certain frequency. And I guess there is no provision to change the physical distance range.

@@DIYLabs put a object in front of project, when i move from that place it makes sound like a security device
@@bhavasha7713 Just use a transistor as an inverter before the buzzer. It will invert the output from the Echo pin and will solve your purpose...
