Great Vid. I would have liked it, if you did some exchange of the body from time to time to find out, if the plus of saturation comes from the lens of body …

Great video! I was not able to tell the difference between both lenses from the photos (probably easier to see when zoomed into the corners)! The Chinese-made M lenses are excellent entry-level lenses. I know M-users also using them on occasions where expensive Leica lenses might not be the best option to use (for example during demos with paint and other stuff flying around, dusty/sandy environments).

I could see the difference right away.
However, I cannot vouche for Chinese lenses. I have had issues with quality control. A screw on the lens mount was overtightened and damaged the thread. The screw fell into the light box when mounting. I ws lucky not to fire away with camera. It certainly would have damaged the shutter. No thank you to Chinese lenes.

Thanks for commenting. Good point, to check the screws to make sure they are not over tightened but also, not loose.

@@Adventure8 It should not be put down to the enduser to check the manufacturere's workman ship and quality control that was carried out. An analogy would be to measure the thickness of the paintwork / anodization of a lens. It is impossible for non-technical people. I have had bad luck. And I am staying away from CN lenes for a good reason.
