Many thanks for the video! I wasn't aware of this amazing MOD until recently. It's really easy to download and install with steam workshop. Man, crowbar collective really did a solid job with black mesa and now these guys at HECU collective are right on with BLUE SHIFT. Too bad when you are about to encounter the marines and climax is rising you get "to be continued" hopefully they complete the remake you can see an incredible attention to detail.
So I know this is old but your mouse icons make this one of the easiest to follow guides I have ever seen for a install.
Honestly, this should be standard in every tutorial video ever.
On the first chapter and wow, you guys have absolutely nailed the ambient sounds of a Black Mesa falling apart.

Shortcuts were not created. How do I create them?
Workshop installation method is too complicated. It defeats the purpose of being on the workshop in the first place. I don't want to do this everytime a new version comes out. I guess I'll stick to Moddb zip file instead.

tried about every method in the description and even in the workshop discussions talking about this problem, mfs literally give you a file puzzle if none of them work, so i agree.

Прошел четыре главы. Очень круто. Прям на уровне Black Mesa. Спасибо огромное. Ждем пятый эпизод. Когда финальная версия будет, то можно попробовать монетизировать как и оригинальный мод. Я бы с удовольствием купил бы в стиме.

I don't get it? The game has a workshop tab, steam have the workshop just so you can install mods with one click, you just subscribe to them and done, why this isn't the case?
Probably because the mod is almost like a whole different game
the game controsl waht can and can't be changed in the mod manager itself, this mod changes somethings including somethings that the mod manager in the game don't allow so thats why.
Theres no desktop shortcuts for me...
This doesn't even work I'm on Windows 10 and when I close the window no shortcuts appear

doesnt work, I subscribed in workshop and downloaded the 2.9GB files via steam, but there is no "workshop" folder in the black mesa folder
it tells me that gaminfo doesnt exisst

somebody please tell me how the heck you do this on steam deck?? it can't run .bat files so I just get stuck at that point.. this is so annoying ! I can't find a detailed guide on how to install on steam deck anywhere online.. can anyone help?

Nothing happens when I launch the bshift install it just goes to the command screen tells me to press any button to continue then it does nothing when I do

This didnt do any shortcuts for me... :S What i did wrong? -game bshift doesnt either work, it gives some kind of error.
i downloded it today and tried it out, but it dosent work. i get this error message: "Setup file 'gameinfo.txt' dosen't exist in subdirection 'bshift' Check your -game parameter or VCONFIG setting."

Because this mod still requires Black Mesa, it's not standalone.

Hello I apready kniw that this mod is very good, ive seen a bit of it on youtube and I really wanted to play it, but when I go to content 0:29 the file is empty, I tried re-installing the mod but it didnt work.
Any way to fix it?

Hmm, i tried playing Black Mesa and it looks weird. It shows me error viewmodel when I load the game but there's no animations when switching, shooting and reloading. I tried uninstall Blue Shift, thinking it would fix the issue but it's not it.

There are no .exe files, and you can check the contents of .bat files by yourself, if you're so curious. All clean and simple.

@@fran_ds6089 Yes, I uninstalled the game and started playing something else. If they are not able to update the game from Steam itself, then it is not worth further consideration.
The simple fact of forcing us to go through procedures to update a game we paid for should be at least a lawsuit.
But how do i plau normal bms? Just type in there "-game bms"?
