Black mesa online coop mod installation tutorial

- Host’s must do all steps. Joiners only do steps 1, 2, 5 and 7. -
1. 0:04 Download the steam tool “black mesa dedicated server” and let it finish downloading.
2. 1:05 Download the latest mmsource- mms.alliedmods...,
1:20 Download the latest sourcemod-
sm.alliedmods....
1:46 Download the latest sourcecoop-
github.com/amp...
Extract these 3 downloads into “Black mesa dedicated server/bms” shown at 2:41-3:05
3. Create a “.txt” file at “/black mesa dedicated server” location shown at 3:53 and rename the file to “srcds.bat” shown at 4:19. After that Right click the file to edit then Copy everything in the box shown at 4:32- steamcommunity... and paste it in the notepad we just opened shown at 4:40, then click file and save.
4. 5:02- 5:55 copy and paste the following into “server.cfg” -

5. 6:04 Download www.radmin-vpn... . (Free & simpler than hamachi) Host must create a network. Joiners must join the created network like shown from 6:34-7:07.
6. 7:28 Run Black Mesa then press Alt+tab to return to desktop in order to run the “srcds.bat” file shown at 7:44 then press alt+tab once again to return back into the black mesa game, seen at 7:56.
(This is how you start a server. Must do this step with radmin vpn firstly every time to host then join same network server)
7. joiners and host click multiplayer and double click your server to join shown at 7:59. Have fun!

-Changing levels manually in game-
Press “=“ while playing to bring up the in game options like voting to change map levels and player settings like third person mode.
Currently you cant save game in coop (But voting to change levels will spawn you with the corresponding inventory for that part of the campaign). All one must remember is the map name and vote for it by pressing “=“ then press 3 then 2. Other players must confirm the vote to commence map change.

Hello ! uh... so, I manage to launch my server but when I want to connect, it puts me back in the game menu... is that normal?

My bat only open the txt file and not cmd, i have don alle the steps

you saved it as .txt file not .bat as you were supposed to.
check all files while saving as in notepad
