Wendy has been in the constant for a while now I’m sure. So she may learn emotions from some of the people around her.
Wilson taking the kids out on a fun fishing trip continues to make him the dad of the Survivors.
Wes is the funny uncle (weird uncle for walter)
Woody is the crazy drunk uncle I’d say. Winona is like Phil and lils mom from rugrats.

I love the way Klei explains everything new in the update while still leaving us with the mystery that makes us want to explore and use the new stuff in own way
Fascinated by this new rift thing in the beginning. I am immediately going to blame Wagstaff for this event (ps can’t wait for the new update! Looks super cool!)

seeing Wendy not sad as usual is like seeing character development, these trailers are secretly the show we're so hoping for
An explosion of monkeys can surely make a good enough distraction for wagstaff to sail away out of sight.(0:16) Wonder what hes up to this time? Surely one of the coolest updates so far with the pirates and all.
I gotta admit, this is a pretty cool looking trailer. Idk if it's just me but it feels like there's a ton more scenes and stuff than normal. Always knocking it out of the park :)
I see that that Klei has finally noticed that people have been begging for simple bridges for years. Well done, this will be an excellent addition to the game.
Is Wagstaff trying to make a portal to back out of the Constant? If anything starts geting worse than it is, I blame him.

@@madestmadmax6136 Still blaming him for everything though. Because isn't that him in the boat there? Either which way it is, he might want to make a permanent two-way door, probably so he could do research on the Constant's everything while not having to worry about getting eaten by what's in it.
@@veronicawexel1291 100% blame him, that was a hologram of him that we assume is him not actually being in the constant, you can tell by the vertical chopping and white static/snow look it has, just like the other occurrence of him. I think even in hamlet it seemed he was a hologram too, just a very life-like one
@@BrianatorFTW He is, so annoying. If he's gonna show up, it would be nice if it had some actual consequences for him. Mans is probably the actual ruler of the Constant considering how he can just *not* be there in the flesh and still bullshit around the place. I hate this man so much, unreasonably so.

I like how you use emotes to express how the characters feel, like how they all shake their fists at the thieving powder monkeys, and how Wendy slow caps when Wilson blows up the docks, real attention to detail, even in the gameplay!
Using the power of docks I might finally be able to make an ocean base that I never have to leave.

@@apchistuz Fig stays fresh in the tree,kelp stays fresh in the water and sea fish stays fresh forever in the fishin' Bin, so food storage is not a problem in the sea.

Incredible to see this. I was just talking with some friends the other day about DST, with us wondering if it wasn't maybe time to make a return to it to see whats been changed over the years. And then here I am, logging onto steam and noticing there's a major update today! Guess that answers our question as to whether or not its time for a revisit!
Well a lot has changed. Form a new biome in the caves, to a new boss, to several character reworks and a couple of new ones.
Im more happy about the dock bridges lol finally can make bridges to other areas of the land without using boats
Klei, all the updates for DST aside. These videos are excellent and brighten my day. You really spoil us thank you.

I love that at the start after 0:11 the light bulbs exploded in sync with music, along with some of the other things that happened.
Webber’s been a good influence on Wendy. Instead of staring into the waters forlornly, she’s grumpy that her boat sank. It’s progress!

Idk about sailing being early game. Depends on what you consider early game.
They have a sail, anchor, steering wheel,and a boat with a chest and sea rod. All of that equals 18 boards in total. 18 is 64 logs. Without a shovel, you’d have to cut down at LEAST 27 full grown trees. That takes 5.6 axes to cut. 10 twigs 5 flint. Still need to get a science machine, so 4 wood, 4 stone (which is 2 more twigs and 2 flint), and one gold. Then you need 8 silk and 7 rope (21 grass). You need to find spiders AND rocks AND gather food AND make light.they don’t even have a crockpot on their boat or a fridge so idk how they gonna eat cause they didn’t prepare. So yea, you can go “early” but you’d starve.
They had all the new stuff built AND a base, so that ain’t all gonna happen before winter.

I love this game has still kept getting love and attention over all these years even if I wasn't there when it started.

I was looking forward to this one! I also like the slight detail to include the sailing theme when any character is on a boat.
With how well they make these update trailers it always seems like a short from a animator, well done Klei!

DST is one of the best games out there, it is amazing how after 9 years the game is still being updated and everything in these updates is always amazing in quality, with interesting gameplay and animation! Keep up the good work!

Its a great game. I’d suggest getting it if you can. They go on sale rather often.
Also highly recommend giving it a shot as it's always fairly priced and great fun with plenty of longevity left for a start (plus the Co op, designs, world, mechanics and mechanisms ect are so damn good especially with all the customisation options available) although its definitely worth getting into the story from the original dst beforehand imo but it's not entirely necessary, even less so if you just want to hop into Co op (although be warned there is a learning curve but it's nothing too major) but Klei make bangers bro trust.
Klei keep pushing great updates over and over again and changing Wolfgang but that's beside the point

So I got a theory: the moonkey's we see drop cursed trinkets when killed, 10 trinkets mean you turn into wonkey, does that mean that all these moonkey's are cursed people who have lost who they are, similar to merms. Maybe I am over thinking, but hey, that's just a guess
