He stayed even though the club was going nowhere fast and im 28 and I remember watching this at home when I was 18. my daughter is 2 now but its a shame she never got to see him play at his peak regardless of youtube vids and how great his goals are. you can still not appreciate what he did when you saw him actually play and when she asks me as a little red herself what was it like to see gerrard play and was he that good..ill say an absolute angel in a red kit and a monster on the field.

The ticket prices are ridiculous and the locals are fed up so they just watch the games in the pub, that's where the atmosphere is now unfortunately. (Away game atmosphere is decent though)
