when i feel down or hurt all i have to do is put on rod stewart he always makes me happy and feel good inside his voice mellows me ... from the time i was 13 years old till now 22 some years and i will always love his voice and songs..

You know Rod has always been in my life. We had some of his early albums purchased at King Carol and Jimmy's Music world....Since I was 13 I have loved his soulful voice and I sit here at 47 listening to his british banter and am still in awe of his charisma and talent

Looked after his mum in London yrs ago, doing my OE ; remember his father, little fella with a big cigar in a big chair and a big rockin Rod b/w photo on the wall. He gave me a live concert recording of one of Rods songs... days of big black vinyl -he made no big deal or song and dance about Rod just gave me the album...loved the fact they, like Rod, aren't pretentious....just decent, S of the E people.. but quietly very proud.
