I was a stage hand in the US. Worked the Rod Stewart show. After the show, we were breaking things down. The shop stewart told us to stop what we were doing and line up in the hallway by the dressing room. Something like this had never happened before. So we were all standing there, wondering what was going on, and Rod Stewart came out of the dressing room. He shook the hand of every stage hand and personally thanked each of us for helping to put on the show. Got to his limo and turned around and gave us all a big wave and another "thanks!' . I worked a lot of shows and he is the only celebrity who gave any recognition to the local crew. And the people who traveled with his show were mostly friends he knew before he was famous, they spent most of the show under the stage, drinking Guiness out of a can. So they got to tour the USA and got paid for it. Thank you, Rod Stewart for being a good human being.

I grew up in the 1970s, and I can tell you I never heard Heart on my local radio station, which was inflicted on me on the school bus to and from school. I can remember to this day the two songs I liked that I heard on the school bus, ONCE each, that I didn't discover again until years later, but looking them up just now, they weren't released until 1980, so they don't count, either.

Even hip hop, for example, had a strong impact on Electronic music and Rock. Just listen to artists like Gorillaz, Fatboy Slim, The Chemical Brothers and The Prodigy, who have collaborated a lot with people like Q-Tip, Kool Keith (from Ultramagnegic MC's) or Del Tha Funky Homosapien.

In 1983, I carried the ball to the hotel where the band was staying, and his lead guitarist, when I met at the bar, set it up for him to sign the ball for me. Jesus said, "I tell you the truth no one will see the kingdom of God unless he is born again. I am the way the truth and the life, no one comes to the Father except through me." For God so loved the world that He give His only Son that whoever believes in Him will not perish but will have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world but to save the World through Him. For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God. For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord, and All who call upon the name of the Lord will be saved. " If you want to be sure of Heaven and avoid the other place below say the following prayer sincerely from your heart." Lord Jesus I repent and am sorry for my sins forgive me. I forgive all who have offended me. Come into my heart and save me. I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. Fill me with your Holy Spirit and baptise me with your Holy Spirit. Fulfill your plan and purpose in my life. "I recommend you read John's Gospel especially chapter 3.Gbu.John 3v3v22,John 14v6.

Legacy act is often used in the media as a term of derision yet I don’t think there is any shame in being an artist or band still able to sell out arena tours based on a string of albums and hits you made 40 years or more ago. It means that music became part of a collective consciousness at the time and still brings joy to even new generations of fans today who want to see the original artists performing live.

Hard to believe BG will be 62 doesn't even look 50, especially without make up his eyes shine and his skin glows.

Also Rod has the best hair I’ve ever seen on an aging senior man. His hair makes him look much younger too.

The crowd singing Grace at Páirc Uí Chaoimh in Cork on the day Celtic clinched the treble was phenomenal. Rod thanked the crowd "For one of the best nights of my life!"

1:50 I have ALWAYS wondered what Boy George thought about that song. Thank you so much for asking them about it and for sharing the interview.

The killing of Georgie simply MUST be officially released by Rod and George. What a pairing for a legendary song 👍

My mother took me to a Rod Stewart concert here in Sweden around the year 1985 or 86 when I was 11 or 12 years old. I was totally hookt after that. Listened to a cassette tape with Rod's greatest hits every waking hours when I was at home or on my walk man freestyle at school. I think I drove my mom a bit mad. And I remember dancing and singing in the school yard loudly and proudly :"If you want my body and you think I'm sexy, Come on, sugar, tell me so"....
The grown-ups smiled a bit embraced and wondered if I knew what I actually sang.....and yes...yes I certainly did! 😂😂😂
