What a great interview! Honest, candid, moving and funny!
I worked as a weekend nanny at his home in Carolwood years ago when he was breaking up with Britt Ekland and with Alanna Hamilton.. He is the nicest person I have worked for. From his making steak and kidney pie for us (Of course he had lots of help in the house) But he looked at and appreciated all the letters and artwork from fans. I worked for other celebrities who just had everything dumped in the bin.He never did that. During my time there he was mostly away on tour but I will always remember him as a really super decent and down to earth human.
Rod Stewart replied to one one of my comments on utube. He said it was him just replying to some of his fans. I believe it was him. Though his words I could feel that he was a down to earth person and not full of him self like some others. I love me some Rod Stewart, I love his raspy voice and his style the way the music just takes control of his body and he be dancing and moving all over the place. In the video with Ronald Isley and Rod Stewart. Ronald was so stiff but Rod was all over the place I love that. Don't take me wrong I like Ronald to but Rods my guy.😄
Well, its 2023 now and I’m 81 and I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Rod…you too Piers. I just bought the CD set of Great American Song Book. He’s a nice guy now that he’s got all the craziness of youth out of him. LOL.

I think he's always been that way, watch his 1973 TV interview he seems to be having a great time. I also think his inherent honesty is a great asset for the life he's lead.
Rod is a top top bloke. Piers once again gets the most out of his subject. For all the knocks he gets he is a good interviewer.

brilliant interview with Rod. he always comes across as down to earth and funny. he doesn't take himself too seriously, unlike some so called 'stars.'It's always the most famous, most successful celebs that are more aproachable, and the ones that have been around for 5 minutes that take themselves too seriously. love Rod. and thanks for the upload.

I would love to see Rod Stewart do country music rock and roll is blues Country classical it's everything now because of the Beatles. If you listen to their some of there old songs you can hear the country influences in their guitars. And they added classical instruments to there music influence by George Martin and Paul McCartney too!
Ive only heard about this but as a model railroader i would love to see Rod's Layout. Like Rod i model HO scale model trains as well.

He's turned out to be a wonderful truthful great man to me and he tells the truth and it comes from his heart I can see that the only thing that's missing in his life is the Lord Christ , that he does not have to be afraid of death and can open his arms 2 death and turn his life over to the Lord Jesus Christ . Because he knows all of us are going to die one day and that is what he's afraid of and that is why he is a hypochondriac you cannot live forever Ron none of us can but if you had the Lord Jesus Christ in your life and then then you're soul you can live forever in heaven. I see a wonderful honest intelligent mature man that the Lord would open his arms and his heart to you if you just repent and turn to him run your life over to the Lord and and you will have completed every purpose here on Earth and in heaven if you turn your life over to the Lord and keep his Commandments and be baptized in Fire and Water then you may live for eternity in heaven and always be happy and complete everything that you do there and here on Earth. May the Lord be with you and guide you to him because this is what all of us need to walk in the light of the Lord and keep his Commandments and be filled with the Holy Spirit for nothing bad on this Earth can harm us in any way because we have his protection always. I hope this is helped you in some way because all of your fear of being afraid of being sick will go away Ron because you turned your life over to our Lord and He will protect you and guide you. So you can live in heaven forever and never die
