  • On this episode we compare and contrast two different different ends of the spectrum while looking for a dedicated single blade from the Victorinox Swiss Army brand. One one side you have a svelte gentlemans slip-joint and on the other a robust utility lock-back, these two really couldn't be more different but also happen to carry over some similar attributes that help make a case for either to end up in your pocket. So if you love the VSA brand but just don't really have the need for a multitool everyday, one of these two options could be for you, or maybe even both, if you want to put them into a rotation or maybe have one for your pocket and the other for your go bag or pack. Let me know what you all think, thanks guys!

I'm here because I ordered the Hunter Pro. I usually carry the 91mm or 93mm Victorinox knives but I'm looking forward to using the Pro now as well. I'll surely find a use for it in my EDC rotation. You can't go wrong with Victorinox.

I'm so in love with the Swiss Army 1 ❤ It's going to be my next buy, for sure.

Very nice review. The Hunter Pro Alox is a beautiful knife but it's definitely too large for an EDC knife. Nevertheless, I will be buying one today because I can't control myself when it comes to adding beautiful knives to my collection.

For urban EDC, the _Pioneer X_ or the _Compact_ would be my choice. In the woods, I carry the _Trailmaster_ / _Soldier 08_

I like the Hunter Pro better than the Buck 110 because it's lighter and thinner.

I don't think you need Hunter Pro in a city as you EDC. It's a lot better to have some multi tool SAK

Either the _Pioneer X_ or the _Compact_ would be my choices for urban EDC.

It is not a "what you need" but a what you want. I could carry a box cutter for many daily cutting tasks, but I do not. I could just carry one knife daily but I do not. 2 folders and a fixed blade for edc is a normal for me.
