Today we are going to take a look at the G-CODE Rifle and Pistol Soft Shell Scorpion Mag Carrier (Black and OD Green) with R2 and P2 Attachments as well as the G-Code contact series battle belt or war belt or gun belt, whatever you want to call it, 100% Made in USA! Awesome video. Nice AK and thanks foe showing how you mount the pouches. (I have the r1 clips on similar belt, it moves from up to doen easy, need to find workaround)
Good video bud. Love the belt and plan on getting one. I recommend always putting your pistol mags opposite of your weapon. You don’t want to reach across your body. I run two pistol and three rifle on left side. Two pistol upfront with the three rifle behind. Basically just front of hip to before the spine of the back. Thanks for the review

Black multicam is such a cool camo! Look like great quality stuff. Never purchased anything from G-Code, but after this review, I'd feel plenty confident ordering anything from them and getting something quality. Also, great explanation on how to assemble everything together.

I just got myself the Gcode Scorpion in Black Camo. Best rifle mag carrier. Switch from AK to AR. Will also hold Subgun Mags and Iphone.

GCode has superior mag carriers. I went with them because I wear daily for work as a Recovery Agent and carry 2 OLight flashlights. The Tall Soft Sheel Scorpions hold flashlights very well. And they fit nicely. I went with a Safelife Defense Tactical belt instead match my vest. If you are looking for a great vest Safelife Tactical IIIA+ is the best IMO Forgot to mention Blade Tek Tek Lok attachments if you want to be able to switch stuff around quickly. For me it works I change setup from work to play easy. Use a screw driver or butter knife to get them in and out
I ordered my belt piecemeal as well but they didn't send any instructions whatsoever! Your video pretty much just saved me as far as the instructions for unbuckling the p2 clips go 😂

Iv been able to use and abuse them lately while running some classes, I can’t say enough good things about this setup

Fold the slack end back on itself or under and secure with securing band. Should free up enough space for at least one pistol mag. Great review. First vid I've seen that have me a good idea of the true color of the mag carriers. Think I'll be going with the coyote/ green to best match with my belt and chest rig. Planning on ordering the knockoffs of the Carrie's. They look identical minus the U.S.A on the front and the come with the two kinds of clip options at no cost, unlike gcode charging extra for the clips otherwise I'd be willing to pay the few extra bucks for their mag carriers.

Just reviewed your video again, it doesn't look like you have it MAX low. You have it at the 3rd setting (1 being the highest, 4 being the lowest)
He knows the belt retaining elastic is for folding extra belt and strapping under the elastic right? That would free up his upfront space
Yes, how much did it save you buying on black Friday? Plan on ordering but could wait a month if its worth it.
Do these type of bungee cords last longer in the humid south? They seem to dry rot and loose their return strength here in Colorado after a couple of years. This has deterred me from buying this product though I really like the idea!

Buying the gcodes for my plate carrier, how's the retention for these mag pouches, and will they work with steel surp AK mags as well, I like the gcodes only Bec they didn't do a messy job on the bungie cord weave like hsgi does.

I have the gcode mag carriers and the knockoffs from Amazon. The knockoffs are still pretty nice. Have 3 pistol and 2 rifle i think its idogeat or something but i cant complain about them. Run hsgi slim padded belt with my gcode stuff and a no name amazon belt with the knockoffs. Great video

You have thos r2 clips upside down, watch a couple of videos on RUclips to show you. Other than that really good video
The clips can be used in 4 positions, upside down just happens to be the lowest position and the one that is most comfortable for me.
At 7:56, there is a shot of the installation instructions that gave me the idea to run them upside down 👌
Great video first of all! Regarding the sizing of the belt and pants, I notice on GCode site that theblargevis from 36-40. If I wear size 40 then I should order the 40-44 XL? Thanks in advance.
Hmmmm that’s a tough one. Seems you’re right on the line. Most people would probably recommend the larger one since it will be over your belt and pants. I would probably suggest getting the larger one. 🤘

Good video I have one clip up and one clip down on my medical holders. Maybe a little anal retention on my part but I do want to make sure if one breaks it's not just going to fall it would suck to get to go to shoot and you left your mags
