Love that it’s so loud it sets off are alarms.. beautiful aircraft..none will ever compare to Concorde.it was truly a piece of beautiful art and history.
This is some of the best footage I've ever seen on Concorde here available on YT. Precious and muy bonito! Thanks a lot for sharing it with all of us, you lucky man!
I just came across this video as I was reading the book Life of a Concorde Pilot and the author mentions going to Seville for training in February 1999. Awesome stuff. This Concorde here should be G-BOAF.
G-BOAF, the very last Concorde to ever fly. Her final flight took place on 26th November 2003, when she departed London Heathrow Airport to Filton, Bristol via the Bay of Biscay for one final supersonic flight. Now is on display back 'home' at Filton.
Now that's what I call 'Good times as a student pilot on Concorde' ! Imagine doing touch and go's on the most famous passenger aircraft ever! A shame she's been moth balled, triste mes amies!
Me encantaba verlo.
I saw the Concorde on four occasions (1) a 1978 at LHR stationary (2) 1978 at JFK stationary (3) 1992 at IAD taxiing upon arrival, next to the plane I was in (4) 1992 near JFK arriving, final approach above our heads
Was not expecting it to do a touch and go .These pilots really had a great job . Imagine being paid well to fly this beautiful aircraft knowing that it was unique, and it had the ability to cross the Atlantic at Mach 2 up to nearly 60000 ft.Wow would love to have been there, and even wish more that I could be on board. To me it is criminal that each country did not mothball at least 2 each. This plane should still be flying albeit without passengers , but to do what they did with most of them is negligence,no other word for it. I said in another post that the Concorde was the fastest aircraft across the Atlantic doing it in 2 hrs 50 mins approx but under 3 hours. I was wrong the SR 71 did it an hour faster. I suspect on both flights everything possible was done to achieve these time although Concorde routinely did it 10 to 20 minutes more. . The manager of BA's Concorde in 1996 stated that no other aircraft civil or military could cross the Atlantic that fast and not run out of fuel. I hope they get 1 flying again. A marvellous aircraft so far ahead of its time! Word must have got out about this training or people could see it, quite a crowd in the last few circuits. A touch and go in this plane would be interesting and busy.
@@simarvirsdhandee7130 Unfortunately I agree , the SR 71 the same. It had stacks of unique lubricants etc to withstand the heat . The engines are old technology but immensely reliable. It is amazing that most of the really great photos of this plane came from Brian Shul . I have both his books, cost a fortune particularly Sled Driver but not for Sale.
Me encanta sencillamente
In spite of Doppler says the frequency drops as the source goes away from us, at 5:26 a frequency begins to rise. the "Flanger Effect" that is used in some music. I found lots of info about how to create it, but no scientific explanation. Can anybody explain? It's not the engine that revs faster. That frequency drops as the plane gets closer to us, and rises as the planes goes away, this is completely against the Doppler rule.

06:41 - How those two people walk casually near the runway exactly when a Concorde is landing right behind them... and not even care to look at the freakin landing? For all they know, they might be next to a supermarket. Talk about wrong place at the wrong time. A good number of people would give an arm and a leg to be in their shoes.
Better than telly completely normal due to the Delta Wing design. This is why Concorde required a ‘droop snoot’ to allow the crew to see where there were going for take off and landing
Tjshill82 thank you for your reply. I should of been more specific with my question - does Concorde land at a steeper angle than a Jumbo Jet for example and what are the degrees and differences? It looks very different to me. Get the mince pies out!
@@betterthantelly2993 the angle is significantly steeper than something like a 747. the average angle is anywhere from 9 to 14 degrees on the concorde depending on weight and speed on any given landing. for a 747 the average nose up angle will usually be just a few degrees nose up, 3-5.

@ 01:31 the telltale sounds of car alarms going off. Only Concorde and the Vulcan could do this ...

Unlikely that it will ever fly again due to the politics involved hence won't be sold to any third party who is willing to use manpower.

They need to bring the Concorde back

So, who wants to build a new fleet of Concordes? :D
So they decided to stop manufacturing Concorde parts in the early 00s & focused on the A380 instead...
