    I was hoping for more screen time dedicated to showcasing the weapons. I noticed well-designed weapons displayed in the background, but the video was all talk with no weapon representation. Disappointing. I have high hopes for India's small arms industry, especially with SSS Defence.

    SSS defence, Astr defence, Armasen Tactical, MKU, SNPP, Tonbo Imaging, Ignetta Holographic Private Limited, Idea Forge, Zen technologies, Anjna Lens, New Space.....should club together bring out their brains and design teams together and should make an entire future infantry/sf soldier program. Bringing out all of their expertise. And making a program out of all of their products combined. From the guns to the vests to the optronics to the sensors to the robotics and all. Damn it will be a hell of a program. The biggies like L&T, Mahindra, Tata, should also get involved. And for consultation DRDO and their labs are already there. Damn even thinking about it is making me feel happy.

    India's first ever sniper rifle is not even purchased by Indian armed forces, not a single branch placed any order.. SSS defense should start selling their products outside India. There is a huge market out there

      I think they already sold it to Armenia. Indian armed forces still have hangover from its bad experiences of OFB weapons. Especially after parliament attack when armed forces was mobilized along the border, more Army men died because of sub-quality weapons and ammunitions manufactured by OFB while training than in a armed combat.

    • @rajbiswas9077
      @rajbiswas9077 24 дня назад +6

      @AK-wn5ri it's not only OFB's fault there is a procurement lobby which has a hard on for foreign equipment because there is an under the table profit for every purchase.. an article was published a long time ago that certain American and Swedish Amrs Manufacturers pay a hefty sum to the military generals and funds elections of small underdeveloped or developing nations just to sell their product

      the only difference i feel is that US is innovative economy therefore they make premium wepaons and ordanance.
      but here we have corruption plus importing of weapons instead of producing

    SSS defence will have a great future, I can see that there is a potential civilian market for bolt action rifles , semi auto/ pump action shot guns, As far as bolt action rifles in India apart from OFB there is no option, I request SSS to atleast try with a few rifles in .22 lr for the sport shooting community.

    I have a simple question. If no Indian engineering college employs or produces any sniper engineer, then how come some Indian company claim to manufacture a rifle for Indian armed forces.
    After digging a bit, I found that SSS defence is a subsidiary of some Brazilian defence equipment manufacturing company.
    Which means, SSS defence would be mass producing their rifles, using the cheap Indian labour, and their rifle have their research+engineering+development team in Brazil.

    • @AlohaKudla
      @AlohaKudla 24 дня назад +1

      What is a "sniper engineer"? Anyone can manufacture a weapon! Weapon manufacturing is a diverse field. Most famous weapon, Kalashnikov was created by an infantry soldier with no experience or formal education. Even today, in US a civilian can manufacture their own weapon if they are interested in that field. US, Russia, France, Belgium are mature markets with about 100years of experience of weapon manufacturing. Most important factor in making a good weapon is metallurgy and tooling. With technology access, India is quickly gaining experience in metallurgy field.

      @@MrAbhithepandey you have to have a merger company if you are into weapons business.. see the thing is its not easy to suddenly make a rifle you have to have experienced experts who knows rifling calibers and other ergonomics of a long distance rifle plus military contacts to showcase a new product.. for that you need companies who actually build this kind of products for military and got the necessary strings in DOD

    • @rajbiswas9077

      @@AlohaKudla no sir there was an entire team behind AK development Simonov helped Kalashnikov with design and there were plenty of other engineers who were involved yeah it is true that the entire idea was Kalash's.. you need experts for each and every part.. even in usa you have to buy part kits from different manufacturers to built a rifle.. but it's assembling not making..

    • @AlohaKudla
      @AlohaKudla 24 дня назад

      @@rajbiswas9077 How can you make up facts? Kalashnikov first prototype was made in a railway repair factory by Mikhail Kalashnikov. He took the help from mechanics there to create parts but entire design was that of Mikhail Kalashnikov. Even after his design was selected by the design board, he had 3 people working under him while his competitors had a larger team due to their reputation. There is Russian movie that documented his achievement and if that is not believable to you, US History channel or PBS had made documentary about the life of Mikhail Kalashnikov! There is a famous YT channel of a US soldier (Brandon Herrera) who made an entire AK-50 from scratch. It is again documented!! There are many YT videos of people making 3D printed weapons in their home. Those videos are now banned in YT, but still available in other portals. Please do not make up your own facts!
