1970 Plymouth Fury III engine evaluation. Pulling heads and checking cylinders.

  • Cylinders 1 and 5 in my new Fury 3 318 were not firing and I was informed 5 failed the leakdown test. So I decided to pull the heads to see what was going on and maybe replace them with a set I have that were recently redone.

    So after seeing that cylinder wall that's rust pitting from some time back so the 360 makes a lot of sense like we talked about. The piston is water corrosion too. That explains why they took it apart and put it back together lol. Guess is they found that and said oh hell no.😂 loved the hood latch remarks and ambulance timing was spot on😂

      @@Roosters_Restos I think I was secretly happy because I kind of wanted an excuse to build another engine. And (spoiler alert) the 360 I got for a great price so…

      @@ryansgarageWI Hello! I did do a HRPT video that’s not too long and includes some of the Beloit group footage. It did good only a couple small issues but all bugs (hopefully) worked out.
