Wow John sounds great just like 30 years ago, great to see Bruce and Robbie jamming with him. anybody still watching this legend?
-sure, great music, real classic. Drummer is Jim Keltner.
Don Was in bass.
Yes , me and A Banda!!!!!!
I used to listen to my parents music on road trips which included lots of CCR. I love them to this day and started watching them on RUclips almost every day. ❤John Fogerty
Benmont Tench was also on keys
I love the “I want to thank my friends here, too” comment from John.
*Ted* Is that the "Townhall" logo you're using for your avatar/pic?
This was 24 years after CCRs amazing Woodstock performance. Hard to believe John is still rocking 26 years after this. Such an amazing generation of musicians that just keep going.
Check out the "covers" he has been doing with his kids!
Stu, Doug and Tom supported to Saul zaentz in one of the worst injustices of rock of all time.
Dear: John Fogerty the real creedence fans love you! God bless you!
Yeah buddy
dude, JOHN SOLD THE RIGHTS TO HIS SONGS MY GOD
My all time favourite singer, can’t get enough of his great music!
Simple lyrics with a great country rock riff. That’s what makes the song song so appealing. You can interpret the meaning in a million ways.
How lucky we are to have him in our lives! Thank you!
Unmatched lyrical and vocal talent. John Fogarty was the bomb!
I can just see the love and admiration of Bruce and Robbie towards John. Very cool!
It is really interesting the John was inducted into the Hall Of Fame with his old band mates, but didn't play with them. I can't blame John for refusing to play with those guys after what they put him through. It is still hard to understand why they took the side of the record company instead of John's. Without John, there wouldn't have been CCR.
yes true...and apparently when John got up to sing here, his ex bandmates were so pissed off, they walked out.
Who knows what Fantasy Records did to sweeten the pot to the other guys. Sometimes, the ugly side of the music business is pretty manipulative. John's a smart guy. The other guys while important to the band sound, were likely more malleable. Definitely not as a smart as John. Easy to manipulate I get a sense. Fantasy refusing to release John says it all. They knew where the bread was buttered. Gosh, the 60s business practices to bands were awful. Imagine John with a manager like Peter Grant in the 1960s and 70s. He deserved that kind of management with his genius.
jeffthewhiff the record company screw over john for years. john had a lawsuit against the company. they paid to keep it out of court for years. I'm.happy john can play his music now with a smile on his face
"I don't care about the music, just give me the money"... Stu Cook to John Fogerty

You did good John! It was your lyrics that saved my life. It was your lyrics that caused me to climb out of my depressing and horrible home life and make me the successful person I am today. For that sir, im grateful. Inspiration from John Fogerty's lyrics was the best thing to happen to me.
John was and is the voice I'll never forget
Doug Clifford and Stu Cook (& their respective families), they got up from where they were all seated & left before John Fogerty finished singing "Who'll Stop The Rain." This actually took place at the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame ceremony.
I don't blame them
When I understand his anger, and have heard the stories and nauseum, this was their night too.
@@Rightsideup no it was not their night. Given all they did to John - they shouldn't have been allowed to attend the event.
With their tails between their legs.
This song brings me back memories of my dad when my brothers and I use to go on road trips he would always put this song I miss you dad :(
Such a beautiful Voice...John is a Legend.....
Notice he said, "Thank you! I want to thank my friends here too!"
John must have loved playing with these guys. He was CCR
Yes he was
Exceptional. Absolute brilliance.
John Fogerty has EVERY right to perform this song with or without Stu Cook or Doug Clifford. He wrote it.
straight up. They left him to twist in the wind..they get what is coming.
Errr it was a band induction
@Richard. Maybe they should have treated him like a band member instead of attempting to screw him over
They were a band ...it was a band induction...it was a disgrace but hey no one would have heard of John Fogerty without the others
woo funny I can hear drums, bass infact the whole band thing - what record are you playing?
John's such a damn good singer....I wish I could sing like that.
Wouldn't we all like to sing like John Fogerty.
John Fogerty is unequaled...among the very best Rock Stars. He, primarily, was responsible for Creedence's success. A unique talent.
Mark Somoco Yeah, John can write, sing and play real good. But I would rather have Stu and Doug to dinner, having met them all. John, ah well, there is a lot written and much of it appears to tell his real story. Wa wa wa.
+Johnny never let me down OK, then take Stu and Doug to dinner and let the artists write and play music
+Johnny never let me down In that case your name is quite ironic....
+Johnny never let me down I truly hope your dinner of bitterness and jealousy will be hard to digest with those guys that crept around like snakes to collect money off Johns talent.
Dinner plays so well if you want music. WTF?
Wow...John Fogerty has a voice that demands attention. I love that he played with the Boss and musicians that appreciate the genius and talent that he possesses...not like those back stabbing scumbags that rode his coat tails all those years.
Fogarty refused to perform with CCR at the inductions. Stu actually took the Centerfield record to Saul Zaentz and told him he should sue John Fogerty for plagiarising himself.
There was no way Fogerty was going to play with them.
***** He can rot in hell.
Trave Kengsin Stus a lying bitch
During the induction speeches, Stu compared himself to Duck Dunn. I don't think so.

@@maaz322 aint funny, its typical.
the best american band in north america , I will love it all my life
Legend thanks for the best song music of my life
Love from Nepal
Best voice in rock.
The original BOSS! and JR Boss(springsteen) and robbie! Dont get much better then this!!!!
I'm with you John. It is better without "the other guys"...I'am glad it went down like this....I love John Fogerty...
A Masterpiece, In My Opinion..It Indeed Is John's Evening, As He's Not Required To Do Any "Heavy Lifting"...Springsteen Spends The Entire Performance Just..Posturing....Trying To "Look Good"..The Payoff-Ticket Is Watching Robbie "Do His Thing"...He Solo's Brilliantly..Just Taking -Off And Dominating ..At One Point Toward The End, Bruce & John Just Watch Him Play..Transfixed....Tremendous Video...Congratulations, John..
Still enjoying this in 2024 followed me thro life.
i'm in heaven john fogerty, bruce springsteen and Robbie Robertson [the band] GOD BLESS HIM this is music.
wow robertson and the boss with the man himself. it is a rock n roll blessing.
John Cameron Fogerty. legendary rock musician. It wasn't like this hadn't happened before. After Bill Clinton was elected, they wanted Creedence to play the inauguration in January 1993, and I had rejected it. I said, "I'm not playing as a band with Creedence. I don't play with those guys. We will never play as a band again."
me llega al corazon cada vez que la toco en mis conciertos es hermosa cancion......
I love this performance so much!
Excelente canción recuerdos de la adolencia la mejor banda sublime
É um dos melhores líderes de banda q já existiu, jonn fogerty. Aqui Brasil.
Who will stop the rain of success pouring on John Fogerty.
He was totally in the right not playing with those snakes, they never realised how lucky they were. They'd be nowhere without John.
Absolutely the truth, those clowns would have trouble winning an 8th grade talent show.
Always a great tune,,,,,,lyrically,,,,only you can stop the rain,,,don't you think ?
JOHN AND ROBBIE ARE GREAT....
I like seeing the Boss as just an employee - refreshing.
Lol good one
GRATE JOHN!
I love that John performed without the others. Instead he played with an array of talented friends; Bruce, Robbie, Don Was, Jim Keltner. While it doesn’t undo all the lawsuits, it must have been a great moral victory for John; the talent behind CCR. The others were damn lucky to have been in the band with him during the success. The way they sold him down the river was a shame. Rock on John. Thanks for all the music
Amazing story tellers there music is the best of all time and Will be in history as one of the best band's ever...
John Fogerty is the GOAT
OMG this is the best version since there nothing from his hay days! Plus the boss is it!
Yeah, you're right. Glen Frey said that we all have conflicts and we all need to get over it. But at least he and Don let all the other members of the band, past and present, sing at the R&R Hall.
EXCELLENT SONG.
"Who'll Stop The Rain" is iconic-no if's and's or but's.
lo mejor de lo mejor un clasico que llego para quedarse
Jon forget era o pivô da banda Creedence sem ele a banda toca sozinha Jhon forget e o cara tem uma voz incomparável.
*_The spirit of the music is all that lives on when the song is gone in the wind .._* 🇺🇸
best traveling music ever
Beautiful!!!
WOOOOW!Great Supergroup,Amazing Song & Voice by CCR.Put a smile on my face,I feel so happy,sweet youth.Thanks!💖🙂💎💕💚🎶🎙🎸🥁🎶👌🏼👍🏻✌👏🏻
Since John was CCR, he made a statement here, by performing his songs without his ex bandmates...which he never needed anyway.
Exactly!
Damn right, F Clifford and Cooke, two no talent, envious clowns.
John is in a leage all he's own ,no better
Best music in my lifetime and I’m 61.
❤I love this performance.. 🎸♬ ❤ Exceptionally talented musicians! 5⭐👍
Love Robbie Robertson.....and the Band.
john fogerty as The group band CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL.....always 4U...grand artist Unique Mondial....Jadooore alsways the best...WE NEVER LOOSING YOU.....💋💋❤❤
John Fogerty....in excellent company
...the rain kept fallin' on my ears, And I wonder, still I wonder who'll stop the rain
CCR's timing was superb. "Rain" was a perfect metaphor for malice such as the Vietnam War at that time.
excellent song=writers=singer=musicians-well done =Trinity bless everyone with good safe healthy days=R.I.P. =all musicians who passed away
GRANDE GRANDE GRANDE ME GUSTA ESCUCHARLO CANTAR ME SIENTO VOLAR DE EMOCIÓN
The lyrics to this song are the anthem for what is happening today & sadly has been happening for a long time.
Like Robbie's sound !!!
Seriously love this versión!!! And for the haters... Robbie did a great job!!!
love forever
JOHN WAS CCR. Stu was out on money. I'm glad That
John sings the CCR songs
these days again.
You can see that John was still elated with his former teammates from Credence. Cock and Clifford, although John sings very well, but it gives a lot of nostalgia to think about the original group.
Cock?
CCR should have just played together and had a fill in for Tom. But someone could have explained what a front man and rhythm section were beforehand.
This is exceptional.
Maestro🙌🙌🙌
hermosa música viejos recuerdos
What a song
FANTASTIC👑
Hermosos temas todos de los Creedence, con ellos empezó mi gusto por el buen rock.
Rod Stewart, you could only hope to equal "The Man" -- John Fogerty. Bruce is not too bad either. Together, they are the greatest.
I've heard people say they like "Rod Stewarts" version better. I'm like yeah right. Kinda like letting John Fogerty sing Maggie Mae.
Bellissima versione!!; Fantastici!!! 🤩🤩😍😍😍😘💖💘💔💞💯
Love The Movie and The Song Absolutely Awesome ...
Happy New Year 2022!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Excellent song!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ROBBIE ON GUITAR WAS PHENOMINAL, BRUCE ON BACKING VOCALS, IS A GENEROUS PERFORMER HERE, JOHN WAS CCR NO DOUBT, BUT ALL HAD BAD FIGHTS IN THIS BUSINESS OF ROCK AND ROLL, YOU HAVE TO BE STRONG AND THICK SKINNED IN SHOWBIZ.
Fantastic.
Class simple as ....C.C.R. timeless ♥♥♥♥
Great versión..very emocional..
when robbie played i thought who will stop the pain!
TheWootone yeah, I was sitting here wondering: how is that, after all these years performing, he still managed to avoid learning to play a guitar?
I don't blame him for not wanting to play with them. They treated him like garbage. They should have kept there mouths shut and everything would have been all right.
"Who'll Get Over Themselves And Play With The Band That Got Them On That Stage?"
The Boss
Stu, Doug and everyone in that camp left but They knew John never wanted to play with Them ever again so it was no surprise to Them.
My two idols in the same show
Having Bruce and that hack of a guitar player on this great tune was like putting ketchup on a filet mignon.
After the crap the pulled on fogerty over the years I wouldn`t have played with them either.fogerty is and was the band and they reaped most of the rewards.I saw the band play under the name Creedence Clearwater Revisited and they sounded alright but there was something missing kinda like a coke thats gone flat.taste like coke but the zing is gone.John fogerty being the zing of course.I can`t believe I hadn`t seen this video before today.I play this song all the time on guitar.Love It...........
