Seger has been playing his classic tunes in much lower keys in recent years. At age 68,he still has an awesome voice. To my father,Seger is an Elvis.

Two legends, one great song of John's... The piano seems to have the shades of Against the Wind in it which fits this song like a glove - seeing John (yet again) in October - it'll be great... as it always is!

Bob Seger sounds great with john, a very soulful rendition - good song choice. Yeah fotonoschang, a live concert with everyone who performed on the CD would be very cool - and a live CD/bluray release of that show, classic - maan, I'd purchase that in a minute!

And I was privileged enough to see both of them live in person within a month of each other just last month.
Probably my favourite song off the album. Very "Segerized", like it shares some DNA from "Against The Wind" but it suits the song. I like the sparse intro with guitar, voice and shaker. I think it's a respectful cover.

Bob's 1986 Like a rock tour was my first ever concert...loved it...only got to see John once live...he was playing guitar for Don Henley in Cleveland ...he dif a nice job on hotel California ...maybe nit Walsh or Feldman...but much better then I thought...and I was a CCR fan..leave a candle in the window still an all time fav..

Was für zwei außergwöhnliche Musiker, die beide sehr viel errciht haben, in einer Zeit, wo man die Musik noch als Wertschätzung empfinden konnte. Heutzutage ist alles mehr oder weniger ein einzigartiges "Streamen". So ein Song wie "Who´ll Stop The Rain", vor allem noch mal in so einer interessanten Version, bleibt ein Klassiker, der seines gleich sucht! Beste Grüße, Horst Lemke, Musikproduzent, Germany Ps.
