    I love how your backpack, smaller bags, and blankets are the same green color. Gransfors axe looks so sharp.

      Yes, I like forest green. And...it's hard to beat the edge you can achieve on those Swedish axes!

    I’d like to see more about the Scotch eye auger. There are so many available. The problem is sorting the wheat from chaff

    Great drawknife! I’ve seen various folding ones, but none with basically a 3 position lock back knife system.

    Hi James thank you - scissors?. Many trappers and woodsmen in the 1800’s carried scissors. (Bigger ones than on the multi tool)

      Yes, that is always a great idea! Thank you so much for watching and adding this to the comment section. In my 1880s camping series you will see that I do have a decent pair of scissors with me in my kit.

    Say Heah Ben, You did good, I recently added a few more tool's on my Google Plus, Yeah, I enjoy my Afternoon Delight's, Hikes, Harvesting Fatwood, and eating out instead of going to Mc Dee's for fries and coffee. Yeah, I just got my Busse Combat Flak Jack, Yeah, it reminds me a little of the S. O. G. 's that became very popular in Nam, infact some Tunnel Rat's used them, mines a 6 1/4" blade made from the INFI Steel and I posted it.,,.p

      Thanks for watching. I am also a big fan of Busse's. That INFI steel is amazing.

      WayPoint Survival Yeah, Ben, I also got lucky, I had a girl there make a slight error and I ended up with (2) INFIMandu's, which are Ratmandu's in the INFI Steel, then I won a couple of drawings just to be able to buy a couple of knives that were made for the Big Knife Show's in Atlanta,. So at two different times, I was able to buy knives that were left over from the show, one was a Busse that for the first time Busse Cerakoted a knife so I bought a Green American Flag Cerakote ASH-1 Magnum what a Beauty, it's Simply TiT's, then before that I bought a Fussion Meltdown Steel Heart, All my knives are non-coated except for the Cerakite ASH-1 and my 3Knife Series of Ergo's, I bought the Badger Attack Ergo, the Steel Heart Ergo, and the Ergo Battle Mistress, my very first Busse Combat was my Anniversary Straight Handle Battle Mistress LE, after I watch Noss destroy one, well a B M, then I got the Annerversary Mean Street LE, the Son of Badger, then the Sarge 7, then my INFIMandu's, Oh, before that my Cerakote ASH-1, then my Ergo Series and I jist got my Flak Jack. and what a Beauty. Yeah, I guess that makes me a Buss'Kin huh ? heh heh heh, Dilly Dilly.,,.p

      Mineral oil is food safe and won't go rancid like many vegetable based oils

    I really like some of the choices you made here. There are some missing things (imo) .. a silcock key for one. Just thinking a fence tool is along that vein..sort of

      You can find them on Ebay, but they are not always cheap. It is a great solution for carrying around though. Glad you like the video. Thanks for watching and commenting!

    I never understood the concept of spoon knife. How many spoons could you possibly need, that you need a dedicated tool for crafting them? Me? I just carry a spoon.

    • @WayPointSurvival
      @WayPointSurvival  3 года назад

      It's about the crafting, not necessarily the fact that you would never have a spoon. That's why it's called bushcraft. Thank you for watching!
