This is 100% a completely different trip than my previous trip to the Arctic that I took in 2022. This NEW series is a trip to new destinations that I took in February of 2023 - one year later. Just like any Netflix show, television show or Hollywood movie production, it takes time to produce. I am a one man show on this entire project. Unfortunately there is just zero way possible to take the trip, tackle the elements, shoot the story of the trip and edit it all together WHILE I’m ON the trip. So, I spent a month on the road in February of 2023 to film and complete this journey. Then I spent another 3 months hunkered down editing this 7 part series together. And now, over the next 7 weeks you get to enjoy the fruits of the hard work. Peace out! Keep on Truckin’.
Sir your adventures are amazing. I'm hardly waiting for new vlogs and adventures. P.S. Thank you for converting fahrenheit to celsius like miles to kilometres. Greetings from Croatia.
Chad, your movie making skills are superior. One recommendation, when you're discussing locations, add maps so that the viewer understands your route and your location waypoints.
The drone footage is always incredible. The fact that you take the extra time and effort to include it makes this that much more interesting. Instead of just “through the windshield” footage, we get to see the beautiful country you are travelling in. It makes a huge difference I think in the story you are telling.
Last years video to the Arctic ocean was a thriller and eye opening experience. This series just pushes the limits another level. Take care and stay safe. We will be following closely!
Every person that has a child needs to show them that life has adventures and wonders to not only explore but to learn ,that there is more to life than just a cell phone! Chad is a man’s man who has lots of knowledge about a different lifestyle and thankfully shares it with the world! I’m awe inspired by his stories!
These really are the best films on youtube. Consistent top notch content. The winter videos are the highlight of the year for me. Keep up the fantastic work!
10:03 mark: The Prince George ESSO fuel station: As a BC resident who watches far too many RUclips videos of VanLifers & RVers driving from lower-48 to Alaska, it is so darn refreshing to see you pull into a fuel station and you not be surprised and confused by fuel being sold in litres and in Canadian dollars. It sounds silly, but it is so good. As the various top-rated comments here suggest, yours is not a typical youtube channel. I am appreciating and enjoying this.
@@LivingTheVanLife Thanks for your movie-making excellence. And thanks for not making non-USA viewers feel like "Foreigners." (OK, I may have some baggage here, haha) Cheers from Vancouver Island, probably experiencing the same weather as you are, today :)
@JR-gp2zk i dont like to visit cold places or go to snowy places. I just enjoy the scenery or the adventure he's doing as I myself goes on trips like this here.
Great video, I did a long trip pulling a tear drop from the Panhandle of Florida to Deadhorse Alaska in 2019, but in September and we got a light dusting of snow. It was beautiful and an epic trip and one my wife of over 40-years and I think about constantly. While our seasons were different, watching this video brought back some really good memories. I remember the first Canadian Tire Store we went into. My wife said "nothing there for me, I'll sit in the jeep" but then at the last moment she said "well I'll just walk around inside". Holy darn, she filled a shopping cart with stuff. She was so excited about all the stuff available. Safe travels
as a person living in bc it's so strange seeing you drive routes that i have driven numerous times. it's like seeing my home through someone else's eyes. so looking forward to this series - love your videos!
Grettings from Costa Rica. Ahora estoy en el Hospital con tratamiento de Quimioterapia, tu video me da siempre un respiro pues siempre quise hacer viajes como ese, tu me trasladaste amigo, tus videos son maravillosos. God Bless. Pura vida !!!
The Pan-American Highway is one of my dreams to drive. I hope to watch you conquer it! Awesome work glad to see you continue to do videos. Thanks for taking me along.
Love your Adventurrs Chad ! Iam a Regional Ford Transit driver I go all over the Country to deliver goods and I tell u part of the reason I choose to do this job was You man! Ive never been Happier in my life like i am now! Love my life,My adventures, My family and my Job. Iam going to order some of your Merch brother! Keep on Vannin chad!
Awesome start Chad! I brought a LTVL hoodie after your last artic trip, may need to add another to my collection! Ive said this a few times over the years, but as a Canadian, i appreciate the respect you show to Canada everytime you are here. From constantly showing the flag, or even giving Canadian Tire some love! Its small things, but they dont go unnoticed. So thanks brother, and keep on truckin!
Absolutely the BEST in content, heartfelt production and the best cinematic presentation of the landscape full stop. Do yourself a favour, don’t watch these on your iPad or ‘phone, you will miss the point and the detail. Do yourself another favour and grab a LTVL hoodie, got mine 18 months ago and have been living in it ❤
You're back on the drive grind and cold weather, so exciting. The places you take your van is epic and a testament to how far the van life technology has come pushed by organized and creative people like you! I'll be building an Arctic edition van this Fall and I'll be taking a bunch of inspiration from your awesome build. Good luck out there!
Great watching this in comfort on my couch:) Cant wait for the next episode. Nice work!👍 Q: where did you pick up that 3QT two tier steamer set for instapot? I'm only finding 6/8 QT versions.
Chad, you are enjoying life and living in the moment. Amazing video(s) as it feels that viewers are right along with you. Stay safe, looking forward to your journey, thanks for the ride along...Chip
CHAD'S IN THE HOUSE! It's all so all in all it's so Breathtaking Chad Mountains ⛰ are so Beautiful Snow Trees Rivers your lucky to get to.go like you go....Stay safe n warm....and KEEP ON TRUCKIN 😊
By far, the best channel on RUclips. Chad, it is an absolute privilege to watch your content. So well executed. My whole family can't wait for the next videos to be released. Well. Done.
You are amazing ,I have been watching your RUclips channel from the beginning. And it made me think of my own life, so in august this year, my wife and I made our way From Smithton Tasmania to Perth Western Australia. We took the long way around, and we followed the cost road. The trip took us to some amazing places we met some really great people on our way. The jk Jeep Wrangler 3.6 was amazing, so the trip cost us $6500. Return, we camp in some amazing places and all this because of you and your show, so thank you very much for being the person you are.
Very challenging as we expected so be safe healthy and enjoying the journey as we are eagerly waiting for your next video . God bless you 🙏 in your existing journey ❤.
chad ive been watching you videos for years now from here in the uk and just when you think it cant get better you give us another belter good luck and take care
Canadian here. The ‘Mile 0’ you showed isn’t the actual one. It’s for show and tourism. The actual/original marker is more inconspicuous one about a km from the one you showed. But overall you do a fantastic job. I’m hooked.
I also watch Mav on RUclips I love that in the shot of the sticker bord when entering Alaska highway I could see his sticker from when he went at the begin of this year. 19:14
My wife and I are full time RV’rs, I have enjoyed all of your journeys. This trip has sparked my wife’s interest as well. She was so disappointed the was only 30 minutes long. She is now hooked Chad! Your channel is awesome.
Awesome video everything you do is so perfect such a pleasure to watch. One nice thing of going solo you don’t have a significant other yelling every other mile to look out when the object is actually 2 miles ahead!
I love this. My grandma was born in Juneau. I remember taking their RV to hope, prince george, prince rupert and taking the Alaska ferry to Juneau. Fun fact Rambo: First Blood was filmed in Hope

I've got 7 weeks to enjoy this Arctic trip. RIP replay button! You're the best Chad!
Would you ever consider a Patreon release of all 7 parts at once for those who want to binge and support you at the same time?
Next time you are doing this, take the Cassiar Highway instead of the Alaska Highway
Sir your adventures are amazing. I'm hardly waiting for new vlogs and adventures. P.S. Thank you for converting fahrenheit to celsius like miles to kilometres. Greetings from Croatia.
Pretty Amazing stuff from a fella in the Southern USA
Chad, your movie making skills are superior. One recommendation, when you're discussing locations, add maps so that the viewer understands your route and your location waypoints.
was thinking the same thing
I said that about a year ago but Chad might have been busy to see 😩
Agreed. For example; at 2:39 there should be a map displayed alongside the information presented.
I was also thinking the same thing.
For safety reasons he may not be posting maps. Chad is one of the huge RUclips content creators.
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS! I have been so low last few months I just remembered this series maybe out... I'm ready to binge!!
The drone footage is always incredible. The fact that you take the extra time and effort to include it makes this that much more interesting.
