Will this work on a Kubota L3560? I believe it's rated at 35hp total but not sure about the PTO rating vs this mower's required hp to operate properly. Thank you.
Hi @tadcody - thanks for your comment. It's best to go by PTO rating since engine rating is variable. Based on the PTO HP specs of your Kubota L3560 you'll have no issues running this mower.
The main difference is the size of the hammer flails. The EMSD mowers are equipped with 400g hammers and the EMID mowers are equipped with 800g hammers.
I really like this mower, but I can't find anywhere that tells me how much of a tilt angle it can cut at (both up and down). Some can run tilted up at 90 degrees allowing brush trimming and down (i think about 40 deg) for mowing ditch banks. This one would be my choice if I knew it could do that.
Hi Kenneth, This particular mower (EMSD-64) operates from a -55 degree angle (ditches) to a maximum of +90 degrees (hedges). The maximum extension measured from the center of your tractor to the right edge of the mower is 86″ Our knowledgeable staff is happy to answer any questions you may have. Let’s see some ditch work and under some pine trees that’s what I need one for. 👍
We're planning to do a follow up to this - will definitely include in the next one. Thanks for the suggestion!

I like the look of this mower, do you know what the differences are if you go to the Intermediate duty EMID

What knives come with it and where are they manufactured?
The EMSD Series mowers are equipped with 400g hammer flails and are manufactured in China
Good mower but it can’t handle tall Western Washington grass.
In that case our EMID and EMHD models could be what you're looking for.
