Spence vs. Porter, was a professional boxing welterweight championship unification match contested between Errol Spence Jr. and Shawn Porter. The first time I saw this fight I was on the edge of my seat Pro Spence!! Watched it a couple of times afterwards and I must say with all due respect... That was closer than I thought.. The the knock down and the 12rd saved errol
naaaa as u can see spence starts to break him down after the knockdown if that knockdown happened earlier rounds he would have finished porter. Porter is in survival mode in that 12th

One hell of a dog fight. Spence was rocked multiple times but he refuses to go down. Porter fights like a mad dog with pure heart. It really is a different level when the hanchos fight it out.
Stop with the rocked mutiple times.. He only got caught to the temple in round 4 and even then he is still calm under pressure. Other than round 4 Spence won majoirty of those rounds.

seeing this fight style of spence .. i think Pacman has 70% chance of winning via K.O or decision.. spence never fought caliber like pacman. just remember what happened to Thurman. young, fast, strong then all fades away after meeting pacman in the middle of the ring. in short you cannot properly execute your normal fighting style if pacman is in front of you. kuddos to the editor of this video you did a great job editing all the timing of slow mo and the music wow nice...
You can clearly see who's the stronger puncher between Errol and Manny. Look at thurman's face after fighting manny then look at porter's after spence fight as if he only sparred in the gym.
Both men gave it all in this fight. Hats off to both of them.

@@indejols7144 it saved him from the judges but in reality the fight wasn’t as close as it seemed in my opinion i had it 8-4 which is why Errol had a odd look when they said it was a split decision i don’t think it was a landslide victory but it was clear to me without the knockdown Errol was winning credit to porter he fought a good fight but his pressure wasn’t as effective Errol landed the more cleaner flushed shots consistently came forward even when he took rounds off

This was the fight that I gained so much respect for Shawn Porter. He’s a dog, and a hell of a boxer. His improved footwork, stamina and punching output, and sportsmanship is off the charts. Respect to both champs, EJ is my guy and I thought he’d make EASY work of Shawn but I was wrong! Fight of the year candidate

Porter is a sparring partner of Pacquiao before.. I think speed will dominate spence. But spence has the power. Only one mistake can lead them into a dangerous situation both of them. They are both fighters I will respect whoever wins.

Spence had the cleaner shots through the fight shawn fights like a raging bull though and that made the fight good but spence took a lot of rounds off conserving energy for the later rounds and shawn shined in those rounds but spence would have won either way because he definitely won the 12.

Well done vid.... This video show a lot of clean punches Errol Landed was missed by the general public and his Defense. Errol tends to over animate when he gets hit even when he blocks punches that aren't that clean making it seem like the punches were cleaner then they were. but the Judges def got it right. Another thing i missed in the fight vs this video is how Shawn was reacting to the body shots he was def uncomfortable getting hit there and also a few low blows here and there.
The over animation is him moving his head the same direction of the punch to take the impact off. I agree though ppl can’t seem to tell when a punch is blocked or even missed. They just saw spinning off the ropes and we’re going crazy.

Boxing needs its top contenders to fight each other so that we can get create fights like this and keep the sport active and alive. This is the type of thing that built up the golden era and kept box going through the 70s 80s and 90s, even through the 2000s. It needs these fights which can happen multiple times with rematches etc.
