Actually, peruvians like to eat Pollo a la Brasa with french fries, if you want something with golden potatoes or as we know it here papas sancochadas you must try anticuchos (grilled beef heart skewers), these are good accompanied with picarones as dessert. Hope you enjoyed our country.

Larcomar Mall is just great, the view from there is just beautiful! Pollo a la brasa looked so juicy! When I visite Lima I got amazed by the amount of different kinds of potato they have there!
La "Gastronomía" peruana es la primera a nivel mundial, y seguimos en el camino por 6 años consecutivos, y no lo decimos nosotros, si, no las portadas y títulos del mundo.
Wish I had spent time in Lima when we went to Peru to do the Inka trail hike. It is such a foodie city and eating is one of my fav activities (after a 3 day hike I would have earn every calorie)😄 We only flew in and out, only had a chance to walk around Miraflores do to flight delays. Definitely want to visit again! Cuzco is beautiful, one of my favorite cities.
Oh my that chicken looked so good as did all the sides as well! And the size of the helping is just incredible! Just really enjoy all of your videos! I am caught back up with watching your videos & the thing about your channel is you can always go back & watch again & see something you missed or forgot from the last time you viewed! That looks delicious.... Just one thing that caught my attention..... Peruvians normally go for a quarter chicken... Hahaha... Definitely.... Half a chicken is a lot for one person! =)
That is true, but one thing to consider is that the size of the chicken in Pardos is quite small compared to others. But yeah, I wouldn´d finish all that, too.
We have a pollo al brasa here but they sell out of chicken really fast. Only succeeded once in grabbing a chicken. I wish this Peruvian chain would expand to the USA.
"Pachamanca" is an ancient peruvian way of cooking meats, vegetables, herbs underground,,, usually a whole day of slow, delicious cooking underground, its a party, u guys will love it.......
Samuel and Audrey - Travel and Food Videos well, every time I went to Peru, every pollo a la braza place was just great! Here in Orlando, FL there’s a place called Brazas Chicken and it’s by far the best in Central Florida. If you guys ever stop by here let me know :)

You're making me hungry again! This food looks surprisingly American...with a Peruvian twist. I can't decide which meal looks better: Audrey's or Sam's. It's a toss-up!
Anne Elizabeth the other way around. Surprisingly Peruvian with an American taste. Notice the gourmet style of serving the food while u go to the more traditional chicken place for regular Peruvians, you get double the size for half the price.
Can't believe you came to Peru ... omg... I followed your advices when i went to Budapest and also Athens at it was an amazing experience..... enjoy your time here if you are still in Peru
Your videos are making us want to go back to Lima! Seems like unlimited amazing food all over. Those D’Onofrio ice cream vendors are all over Lima! We went to Pardos too and enjoyed. Those camote waffle fries look tremendous
Thanks. I really enjoyed this great video. Pardo’s Chicken is in fact one of the best chains selling what is by far the most consumed dish in Peru. It is a shame that you did not get a table by the window with the amazing views of the Pacific Ocean. There are numerous places in Southern California, New York City and Miami where you can find what is called in known in the US as Peruvian Chicken, but there is nothing better than having Pollo a la Brasa in Peru. People here in the US think it has to do with marinating the chicken or the smoky flavor, others say it is the aji sauce. I really don’t know but Peruvians love it. Thanks again for the video.
Thank you very much! We should have sat by the window! That is cool they have Peruvian chicken in the US. I feel as though the true secrets are never quite shared which is why local food is always better.
Gracias por visitar nuestro hermoso Perú y que les haya gustado nuestro pollo a la brasa vuelvan por nuestros platos criollos, mariscos, nuestros platos de la selva, sierra y demás muchas gracias!

I really liked your video, the pollo a las brasas was born in the late 1950's in the restaurant "la granja azul" chaclacallo east of Lima, a farmer of chickens has no luck selling them in the markets and decided to sell them cooked as they did at home
