@GamernautX He got a point tho, A-10 is weak against S-300/S-400 especially when you know this aircraft has no SEAD/DEAD capacity.
@@Fahreun Well...yeah. And cargo planes are also weak against enemy fighters. Ships make bad land attack vehicles.
Turns out things are terrible when used in ways they aren't intended to be used.

Thats not how you use a10s first you use fighters etc when you have achieved air supremacy then you use planes like the a10
Honestly, this looks like a ton of fun, the closest I'll ever get to doing this is flying in DCS, but the amount of studying and training that lead up to being able to do that is insane. Requires a very high level of dedication and persistence to fly one of these, wish I could honestly.

Noticed something cool at around 3:10 - 3:33 over and frt of his right shoulder, a big lens on wing pod, you can see the lens tracking the pilots target as he approaches and passes over.

@@Mikkelltheimmortal ive flown the a10 in dcs world, and while yes most definitely not real world, firing a burst from the gun lifts the entire nose of the plane up while its on the ground. its insane. even in a flight sim you really get a sense of just how crazy powerful it is

The gun produces 10,000 lbs of recoil force. They absolutely feel it, as it tries to shake the “hawg” to pieces.

@@d.porter3142 what is a leading edge slat. And what does it mean. Pulling G.
@@LocalBosnian-99 leading edge slats help with aircraft flying at lower speeds. Pulling Gs is increasing the height of the aircraft at high speeds. Pull the stick forward and pushing the throttle forward increases G force.

Idk if true but crazy that if it had enough ammo to fire the gun long enough then the recoil would stop the jet. Like I said idk if true but that's alot of recoil to make more than thrust.
The recoil from the 30 mm cannon is a little more than the thrust from one of the A-10's two engines. Crazy to think about.

Actually, the a-10 uses the Scorpion HMIT. The primary difference being that the display on the HMIT is actually full color, as opposed to the monochrome display on the JHMCS.
Every single soldiers of DEVGRU can fly any planes,drive any cars/ships/submarines ,can fight on every terrains including sky,they are all overskilled and well trained in every field of combat zone
So as cool as devgru is I don’t think there trained to fly aircraft

Is it dark through the visor?
The visor is essentially a giant pair of sunglasses. So it is slightly darker, as that’s the whole point, but not excessively dark. They can still see everything just fine with the visor down
