Nice. I added the putco ford emblem on my 2020 f150 tailgate. It can be wired to come on when brakes are applied, or to stay on, when head lights are on. It's wired with headlights. Would look good on yours.

I just put the iJDMTOY Raptor style third brake light in mine last night. Kinda disappointing. The cargo lights are dim, and the three red led dots aren’t that great either. I guess I misunderstood the pictures on their product but I thought the three dots stayed on as running lights at night. That’s what I wanted most. Oh well, live and learn. ☹️

It’s definitely an upgrade from stock, but this one is leagues better. Tons of light and looks great.

Just installed this and I have to say I am not a fan of how this seals with the roof line of the truck.
Without those two center screws and just those push pins it leaves a fairly wide gap between the top of the light and the roof of the truck.
I had to use the secondary gasket that came in the box on top of the pre-installed gasket just to get a seal without gaps between the top of the light and the roof line.
I can see this thing leaking water into the headliner very soon.

Mine is tight up against the truck. Make sure the harness or anything isn’t getting caught up. It should seal up well.

@@Scoobyfreak86 Ok, I calmed down and thought this through rationally.
The problem is the gasket thickness.
With one gasket, it just doesn't make good contact with the truck.
With the two supplied gaskets, the gasket is too dense and doesn't compress enough to fit closely to the truck
My solution was to go to the hardware store and get a roll of that rubber foam window sealant.
3/4 inch is what you want.
With a little bit of trimming I made one solid gasket and it now sits much closer to the truck.
Not perfect, but comparable to the gap between the door panels and the side view mirrors, which is fine I guess.
I am still dissapointed with the fitment of this product.
The major flaw is the lack of the center screws that the OEM light fixture has.
They tried to remedy this with those push pins but they either do nothing without the screw threads installed or just break if you try to push them into the screw threads.
This product need a major redesign and I would start with using a smaller LED panel in the center so they can still have those structural screws.

@@Scoobyfreak86 I calmed down and found a solution to this.
What you want is that 3/4 inch foam rubber seal that they sell in rolls at your local hardware store.
You will have to trim a bit to make the gasket size you need but it works flawlessly.
I am still dissapointed in the design of this product.
Custom solutions should not be necessary at this price point.
The gap is now tolerable as it is about the same size as the gap between the side view mirrors and the door panels.

Have you reached out to morimoto on this? It almost seems like you have a defective unit. Mine seals up nicely on the truck and have had no issues whatsoever since it has been installed. In fact, I don’t even have the pins installed and still don’t have any issues.

    • @joeldoxtator9804

@@Scoobyfreak86 It's on there and leak proof now.
The gasket I cut has settled and the gap is almost gone at this point.
This should actually provide a better seal than stock as it is pressure fit and not relying on adhesive glue.
I still think the design is a bit shit when it comes to mounting.
Those center push pins either do nothing without the thread inserts or just snap in half with the thread inserts installed.
I would have much preferred if they just used a smaller bed light and left the OEM hole design alone.
I had an issue with the wiring harness for the HXB fog lights as well that I ordered.
Some how they got the one side wired in backwards in the plug itself.
Thankfully, it was an easy fix of just pushing out the pins from the plug and swapping them, but still, how is that making it past QA on a 700 dollar (in Canada) product?
I was considering Morimoto for the tail lights and headlights, but after seeing the care of their design and QA standards, I will be going with Alpharex for both.
Edit: and sorry for the two repeat reply's.
The first one didn't show up on youtube right away so I thought the system was deleting my comments.
