Haven’t done any correcting to the truck yet. Just been doing normal maintenance washes and using a drying aid. I have lots of wash videos on the channel on my STI.

I also have a 2015 XLT. For carplay i completely replaced my center sync unit and upgraded it to OEM ford sync 3.4. Completely plug and play and now have navigation as well. So much nicer for carplay and normal radio use touchscreen is far better and faster.

Looked through the comments but didn’t see this question - is the frame painted or undercoated? Looks like a good investment for an all aluminum truck because it’s almost all rustproof except the frame, crashbar, and rad support. 10/10 truck for sure. Excellent work.

Truck looks awesome. 💯 look at the Bak Industries revolver 4Xs bed cover. Best one out there. I have one on my 2016 platinum and I’m super happy with it. Also POWERSTOP brakes are great for the fords. NO brake dust at all with them. And the stopping power is way better then stock.
By the way I also bought the revasol steering wheel a few weeks back, after watching your video. I absolutely love it over the stock. Thanks for the cool vids and honest opinion.
if you have the larger sync 3 system, you can add carplay by simply replacing the usb module to the more recent standard. it was like 50 bucks US or 75 CAD for me from the dealer parts counter. literally plug and play, update your firmware, and voila, you have carplay.

Been driving with tint on all my cars for the last 30 years. Never once gotten hassled or bothered for it. I prefer cloth in a daily. Easier to maintain and clean, especially with kids.

Thanks! Been meaning to do a full correction and ceramic coating on it, but haven’t gotten to it yet. Just proper washing techniques and been topping it with obsessed garage drying aid to keep something on the paint until I get time to properly correct it.

I’m in Phoenix- where is a good place to sell the running boards etc in order to offset updating the truck like you did? How much money approx did it take to de- Crome the truck and get new wheels and suspension?
Looked into them before. Great car, but they are massive. Handle well, but doesn’t compare to handling of a Porsche overall. The 50/50 weight distribution is real.
Maybe funny question but we bought recently 2016 crew cab also and looking for child seats😂 what’s your brand of seats ? 3 separate pieces or 1 whole piece?

Wanted it as level as possible and felt the 3 would have given it too much lift in front. I have the bilstein 5100’s now and have the ability to go up a few now so I could try it.

The prices on these 7-8 year old F150’s now are blowing my mind. Maybe they’ll drop some in the next few months. Have saved some cash but evidently not enough with these prices now.

Nitto mud grapps and colormatch tails would be the only thing I would change but other than that great looking truck
I have new tails on the way actually. The mud grapplers would be nice but impractical for what I use the truck for.

Do you have any rubbing with the wheel & tire setup? Did you have to trim or cut anything?
I trimmed a small amount off the front crash bar end to clear when in reverse. It cleared everything lock to lock going forward.
You need to put a tailgate lightbar strip on bro with sequential directional lights.
Looked into them briefly. Not sure if it’s too much for the look I am going for.

It did at full lock in reverse. But I have since cut off about 3” off the crash bar ends on either side and it clears completely with no issues.

Sold most of the stock chrome pieces via Facebook marketplace and eBay. I spent around 15k in total with everything I’ve done to the truck to date.

With the exhaust tip you just install it to the original exhaust and that’s it?
This is a full catback replacement. This tip does not fit on the stock exhaust.

Haven't looked into it too much, as the interior is in good shape still. Not a big fan of the gray/tan as I prefer black interiors but maybe one day.
