Honestly its just the same for PC, but without having to install the mods. It must be a huge upgrade for console people though!

Massive improvement over the previous version, definitely leveled up you vocals, but the biggest thing is that you put your own individual stamp in this version and that really comes across in the vocals

Wolven Storm was the first cover from you I heard, still listen to it regularly and is probably my favourite cover of yours. This was an instant click from me, but having listened to it, I think I prefer the old mix to this one. I can't exactly put my finger on it as I'm not a musician, but the old mix sounds more... not sure what the english word would be, harmonious maybe? More balanced? Everything fit better in my opinion and seemed to flow naturally together. Here it sounds to me like some elements of mix, I think the keyboards maybe, get too dominant and the other elements sound like they are trying to catch up, or get completely pushed out. Again, can't quite put my finger on it since I'm running just by ear and feeling, listened to this one and old one back to back a few times and the old one somehow sounds and feels better to me.
yeah me too :) you are right the VSTs are a bit too loud and you could also hear every instrument more (eg the bass was standing alone, here its just the sub bass of the guitar). Also for me personally the new mix is missing a lot of the low frequencies. Nevertheless its a solid remaster!
Gonna be real with you guys. How things should sound is subjective and what you like, but saying the old mix is better blows my mind.
The old one is absolutely crushed to shit in every possible way and I had no idea what I was doing back then. The master is… Jesus it’s a totally clusterfuck of plug-ins just turned to max.
So you can say subjectively you prefer the old one, but objectively the new one is miles ahead in every possible way and you won’t find any professional who disagrees

Just around the day we get the next -gen graphical update on the game, we get the NEXT-GEN UPDATE on the song?!?!?!? The very fabric of reality can't handle all of this AWESOMENESS!!!!! The new version sounds so much more polished and far more powerful, as it should. What a great way to cover your own...cover?!?!?!? The transitions in the video are a very nice editing touch, great work with the jams and in game footage.

I think its just RUclips compression but the guitar needs turning up/pulling forward, sounds like the song has blank spots with could be filled unlike your original. With that out of the way. Thank you for all the Songs & effort put into them over the years!
