Probably my favorite OST ever, and definitely my favorite game ever. The only competitor for best OST imo would be the original Nier, the feeling of the songs is very different, though there are definite similarities.

Dude how in the hell did you make this both as beautiful as the original, and still metal as fuck!?! Crazy how its retains those silky feminine like tones, and yet you still manage to make it masculine as hell and even more powerful!
Original female voice was already pretty low pitch and sounded somewhat in-between male and female.

@@jonathonantonides8391 I went and listened to falkkone's old cover of the song and the remake. the old cover definitely falls short of the remake and Skar's cover. both falkkone's and this cover are amazing, but I prefer Skar's.

Your cover is amazing. I think it's equally amazing that the creators of NieR: Automata were able to create this entirely synthetic language that still sounds like an actual language people would be speaking or singing somewhere. You did a fantastic job with it.
In fact it were not the creators but the singer herself that created the language. She had done for the first Nier game.

Conlangs are pretty cool. I still have fond memories of Hymmnos (from the Ar tonelico series) and the absolutely batshit number of dialects its creators packed into it.

Somehow when this man converts normal songs to Metal covers they always sound like a completly different song but even more epic. Just like the Japanese and English cover of: Weight of the World or all the WOW songs!

Dude this totally caught me off guard. I was just expecting another instrumental version but when I heard the lyrics, I was in shock. You have earned my sub and respect for this song! Also had to buy this song right away as its one of my all time favorites.
CHILLS down my spine. Excellent delivery. You really brought across the cacophony of inner voices that were screaming for meaning within Simone. Thank you for capturing the spirit of her torment and not just trying to make some needlessly brutal metal remix for the sake of being metal.

I don't know how I missed seeing this video when you dropped it. This is probably the best freaking cover of this song I've ever heard!
Some songs give me goosebumps, and sometimes that feeling seems to focus at the top of my head before cascading down my entire spine and shooting down each one of my limbs at once. This cover 100% did that.
Coming back to this song almost every time I hop in the car! I love how you not only learn these lyrics but perfect them in your vocal style!
Im prolly the one person in the world that sat several hours trying to perfectly pronounce this song, cause voice acting tickles a part of my brain I can't explain. Reguardless. Ima have to replay this a few times to get past any continuity errors. Maybe ill just keep it on loop for a bit.

I tried to make it as theatrical as I could. Using the metal as the contrast to the beauty it was trying to achieve. You know? Hard to interpret a song like this, but I feel it remained relatively true to the original. :)

@@Yami_Industries Chaos Language. It is a made-up language for the NieR series.

@@Yami_Industries I doubt it. As far as I know, Chaos language is pretty much gibberish and the "words" are chosen for their sounds that convey specific emotions better. In fact, none of the songs using Chaos language are translated, save for "The Weight of the World" from Automata that has English, Japanese, and Chaos lyrics. With only one example of translations, it is quite limiting.

i love this song because its sung on a mysterious language that we can only imagine what the meaning is and how it relates to the boss.
1:50 i love this part in particular because it makes me feel the sadness this robot might of felt and as the metal vocals come in feel her anger of her rejection that finally makes her go insane. its as if the metal version has different meaning to the original because how mysterious the language is and how we imagine what it might mean to the boss and if the lyrics are what the boss is feeling.
