UPDATED SEASON 4 AND 5 DANIEL VIDEO ➧: ruclips.net/video/EbAtQItGHUs/видео.html Thanks for your patience! Chozen and Final Fantasy X video coming soon!
@@grunt4943 I did do a video on Robby (despite the title, it actually talks about WHY he has so many issues, most notably being let down by nearly every adult in his life). The next two videos I have planned which people voted via polls were Chozen then Tory, so after that I will do new polls for characters that haven't been talked about yet.
I REALLY ENJOYED THE VIDEO.... I ASLO HAVE A FEW MOVIE AND SHOW THEORIES THAT MAY GIVE SOME INSIGHT ON A LOT OF MISSED CLUES AND NO ONE SEEMS TO CATCH OR ADDRESS...... .. GONNA BE STARTING MY OWN CHANNEL SOON>>
I never noticed the similarities between Daniel and Sato ! Daniel is definitely a flawed character but his hearts is in the right place ! When he went to Mr. Miyagi's grave u can see he still is grieving.
Daniel is very much lost without Miyagi. The trip to Okinawa was what he needed to remind himself that Mr. Miyagi didn't always have the answers either, and it was people like Daniel that made him realize that he needed the right people, not the signs, in his life.
I also noticed that Daniel's Season 1 attitude somehow gave us a glimpse of him as a modernized counterpart of Sato: a successful and wealthy business owner. The parallel is once more taken two steps further is that Sato and Nariyoshi are taught karate by the same sensei and even formed a love triangle with Yukie.
Johnny is still my favourite character cause of his good heart and his yearning to fix everything that went wrong. Though his executions are usually wrong, his ideologies are good.
I love this I feel everyone has yet to learn the meaning of forgiveness and balance in life. Kreese's Cobra Kai fails in that they hold grudges which in turn makes them angrier people whereas Johnny and Daniel are learning that grudges and lack of forgiveness makes their problems worse. That's the Best Lessons from Cobra Kai if people are wanting to change their ways you also have to let go of the grudges to help them be better. Robby feels like a new version of Chozen in that way and like Chozen he has to find his way back.
As much as I love Johnny, Daniels character development went up for S3 it made me love his, character a lot he is definitely one of my top 5 characters I hope him & Johnny will be best friends in S4
@@StryfetheWarrior yeah not that i think he's an evil mastermind or anything just funny how there do seem to be small things they have in comon i have high hopes for Silver in season 4 I cant wait to see him again and learn what he's been up to since Karate Kid 3.
I do wish Daniel and Johnny won't have major fights anymore. Maybe some playful banter here and there like most friends do but they now have each other's backs
I hope that Daniel keeps balance in season 4, because, to me, if they have him lose balance and resort back to the unbalanced Daniel Larrusso we saw in earlier episodes, then what was the point of them having them finding balance in the first place? I mean sure they could find a way to write out Daniels balance, but to me, it almost feels less likely to work perfectly while making his trip to Okinawa worthless. It just feels lazy to me?
The new dojo will work fine, although there will be disagreements. I can see Hawk getting a lot from Daniel’s teachings, as well as Sam and Dimitri learning a lot from Johnny,
@@StryfetheWarrior Samantha and Miguel will have to work very hard solving those disagreements, but in the end, everything will be fine, for Johnny, Daniel and their students
I don't see it happening, but at this point everything is fair game until Season 4 is here. With Miguel still recovering, Hawk or Sam are the best chance imo
Thank you for this video. I love Johnny, but to be honest I am a huge fan of Daniel and I see so many people turned on him viewing him as the bad guy. But it was stated several times before there is a bit of Daniel in Johnny and Johnny In Daniel ying and yang. But I love that about Karate Kid/Cobra Kai. I can totally see why so many people love Johnny now he's always been Badass and Cobra Kai really plays into that but Daniel is just as awesome.
Yes it is true but a like Johnny more and Daniel as the antagonist in cobra Kai Daniel started the rivarly again 30 years later Daniel never had to do that daniel only want to get rid of cobra Kai thats way a see Daniel ass the bad Guy but in season 3 Daniel was bigger in my eyes
Honestly I didn't notice it at first until commenters pointed it out to me. When I went and re-watched and compared for this video, it all started making sense.
His flaws of being a hothead and stubborn Jersey kid make him similar to Sato, but his natural good-heartedness and easy going personality (mostly) come from being raised by his mom and taught by Miyagi (basically he's Sato but Miyagi)
Jeez after that Robby video I thought I was subscribed lmao. I was wondering why your videos didnt pop up! Also the fact that you also making pokemon videos too is awesome man.
Meeting and reconciling with Chozen was one of the best things that has happened to Daniel. It made him realize that people (not all people) can change for the better. It’s time that the kids Robby x Miguel, and Tory x Sam finally resolve their issues with each other and move on.
The leading part of Daniel was originally given to Scott Baio who is known for playing Chachi on Happy Days but it didn't work out because the films title would be changed from The Karate Kid to The Karachi Kid
@@sebastianconcha5736 Johnny and Kreese both had a rough upbringing, both had no friends before joining a dojo/military unit, both were taught an aggressive style of karate and passed that on to the next generation.
Nah, because having Silver come back in S4 is gonna throw a huge wrench into Daniel's balance.... But methinks Johnny will help him out with that lol, I think that the two dojos will continue training at Myagi Do, but will be separate in the tournament.
I hope that the dojo’s don’t break up, because to me, it would be like Daniel and Johnny breaking up again, which has been done three times already and would just be lazy and repetitive.
Daniel has a successful business that he needs to get back to. He is lucky that his wife can cover for him. But I want Johnny to eventually be the primary sensai of whatever the new name will be while Daniel is more of part time sensai. Plus Daniel is more of a businessman while Johnny could have really used someone with Daniel’s business knowledge when he opened up the cobra Kai dojo while he did a good job one could see how it was struggling and it made it easy for Kreese to take it over. And Johnny also had trouble finding a new space when he started Eagle Fang Karate which is why they were practicing in the park. So Johnny becoming daily sensai after they merge their karate lessons.
That's a tough call. Johnny is technically more experienced (he trained a few years before meeting Daniel in KK1) and I would say is naturally stronger, but that Miyagi-Do pressure point technique is a pretty good equalizer. If Daniel hits that in a fight, it's over.
Johnny was still dazed and only saw Daniel had Kreese on his knees. Daniel had already performed the technique and was about to deal the killing blow, when Johnny saw Daniel and nodded at him for either saving his life, to deal the killing blow, or both. So Johnny had no knowledge and if had Daniel had somehow gotten into a fight with Johnny and got the opening, it's possible Daniel would've hit Johnny with it too. If this was pre-Kreese fight (or before Daniel had gone to Okinawa), even then it's tough to say. The show has done a good job of making them equally matched, as seen in the Chop Shop and the apartment fight (though they both landed critical hits on each other in that fight).
@@StryfetheWarrior omg right. I forgot he came In after Daniel hit him with the technique. I just rewatched it. I think Daniel and Johnny will learn a lot from eachother. I just think Johnny is the better fighter skillfully. He was beating the shit outta kreese before Robby came in distracted him. Daniel had to use the technique to beat kreese. In my opinion once Johnny learns some of the miyagi karate. He will be better than Daniel even without the pressure point technique. The ruthlessness and attack of cobra and the defense and balence of miyagi do. Making him the best fighter. Since Daniel already was in cobra Kai and learned the basics he won’t use it because that’s not what mr miyagi tought him. It’s either Johnny becomes the most skilled fighter in the series or Miguel does having both sets of skills. What do you think?
I also LOVED your video about how Johnny is the better sensei than Daniel. Johnny seems more willing to learn new things from different types of karate unlike Daniel
Hard to say. In my opinion, Johnny is more experienced (as he did train longer than Daniel did when they met in KK1) and is naturally stronger, but Daniel's Miyagi-Do pressure points technique is a powerful equalizer. Even if we're talking beginning of Season 3 (before Daniel goes to Okinawa), the show does a good job of showing them being equal as far as skill (also in the S2 apartment fight, though they landed some good strikes on each other). I think it could go either way - Johnny could power through Daniel's defense and overpower Daniel for the win, or Daniel's defense could wear out Johnny and then strike at the right time.
Daniel - Miyagi + Sato Johnny - Miyagi + Kresse Miguel - Daniel + Johnny Robby - Chozen + Johnny Hawk/Eli - Dutch + Johnny Sam - Julie + Daniel Tory - I would say she’s either like mike Barnes , Julie or Johnny

I haven't forgotten, but Tori's video is still a ways away, as I said before. I still had Daniel and Chozen's video to do before I got to Tori. That being said, this community post will also help clear some things up ruclips.net/channel/UCAGD3NDfFqEL6Rexm7TZlJAcommunity?lb=Ugzzmxk8YvQ2Ncm2ajR4AaABCQ
At starting Daniel LaRusso hates Cobra Kai's because Terry and kreese are the one who manipulate daniel in karate kid-3. And Daniel behave rudely with Mr. Miyagi and daniel feel ashamed of it that's why at starting daniel doesn't like cobra kai because of their students and sensei he was separated with Mr. Miyagi. Hope Daniel tell incident of karate kid-3 to Johnny so johnny understand why Daniel was behaving like that earlier.
Johnny was poor but he also have same attitude like Daniel. Just like he tore the check which sid gave to him. When Miguel was talking nicely with him, johnny tell 'great more immigrants' and tell miguel I think 'miguedo'. Both Daniel and Johnny are ignorant
but was daniel actually gonna kill kreese, in theory if sam and miguel didnt show up he might have did what mr. miyagi did and maybe remember what mr. miyagi said "For person with no forgiveness in heart, living even worse punishment than death"
Chozen also told him while teaching the technique "Sometimes you have no choice but to kill." Because Daniel also only wanted to seek revenge at first, it was clear that he wasn't going to teach Daniel every aspect of Miyagi-Do until Daniel grew up and he was ready. Even Johnny gave an approving nod of "finish him if you must" when he came to. I think Daniel didn't want to take any chances, especially after Kreese just threatened his life. Miyagi also served in World War II, and no doubt he more than likely faced many a time that he had no choice but to kill in self-defense.
@@jackienotchan007 It could've really gone either way imo, though I'm more on the side that Daniel may have really had no choice (and also because he was so mad about them attacking his family/house). I will say though that you are totally well within sound reason of Miyagi's teachings, as well
Why is it that this video, to me, makes Daniel in Cobra Kai kinda sounds like Lilith Clawthorn from the Owl House? I mean Lilith is the rival to her sister Eda and her student Luz, much like how Daniel is the rival to Johnny and his student Miguel. Lilith gave Eda a curse to Eda that cause her to turn into a monster and grow up living a crudy life with a crudy job while Lilith grew up to be leader of the emperor coven, much like how Daniel beat Johnny in the all valley, causing him to live a crudy life in a crudy house, while Daniel grew up to own one of the most successful car dealerships. But that’s just my opinion.
Funny enough, it's like Next Karate Kid forgot his first name and re-named him Keisuke Miyagi (though also in Karate Kid 1, there is another name on the dogtag that Daniel looks at, but I forget what it is at the top of my head)
I'm not gonna lie, I don't think Daniel is a good parent to his kids. He's a good friend to them. Samantha is spoiled and her tantrums are fed into and catered. It doesn't help that he focuses almost entirely on her and ignores Anthony Anthony is just a brat and has 0 discipline. He is always given an option on what to do instead of having a parent guide him. You can't do that with kids. They need to be led, not let them stumble. Daniel isn't a good parent in seasons 1-3. Towards the end of season 4, he starts picking out up though.
If you want to know what I think the only ones that is keeping Daniell laRusso to have balance is a fact chosen and Johnny they are the ones who is the ones that is keeping him to ha in balance some in Times that that there is balance and unbalance we put them both together and sometimes it will become as we know it is balance or not to be there or not be there Order to have balance or be in balanced or no be there or you can be there basically it was that like this be there or don’t be there in the words of commercial Miyagi means what is this sometimes no be there
I think Mr. Miyagi didn't teach Daniel everything for a reason - he wasn't a fan of Daniel's interest of revenge and he had to guide Daniel. Chozen did bring up a good point though when teaching pressure points - sometimes you have no choice but to kill before they kill you. However, Daniel DID save Johnny's life like Miyagi did in KK2, it was very likely that Johnny could have died as he was passed out for a bit like Robby while Daniel and Kreese fought. Kreese also threatened to kill Daniel ("Time for you and Miyagi to reunite!"), so Daniel had to defend his own life from being taken by Kreese - "Sometimes you have no choice but to kill."
@@StryfetheWarrior yeah I guess we see I always predicted before season 3 came out that johnny would be want to kill kreese and he ends up in jail at the end. Like how he already behind bars in premiere and ends up in same place in finale. Or he chooses to go on the run. Never expected daniel to be one to end kreese life Edited: I like in final shot of s3 that when each bows down to each other. You see behind that there green leaves on johnny side and other side (daniel) there are autumn leaves. Perhaps foreshadowing a darker route for daniel in s4 🤔
Point of order, here. In similarities to Sato, 14:40 you suggest that Miyagi would have won easily, and suggested that Sato was never able to break the wood he and Miyagi found, but that Miyagi did it with ease. I don't believe that for a minute. Though Sato hated Miyagi for dishonoring him, and declaring his love for the one he was betrothed to, Miyagi never hated Sato. It may have been a huge mistake for Miyagi to do that, knowing what it would have meant to his friend, but in the moment where Sato was pinned under the log, Miyagi knew what was at stake if he failed to break the log. THAT was why he was able to break the log. Everything else is spot on.

I love your video. Keep up the awesome work
Thank you!
Ali broke up with johnny not the other way around. She broke up with him bc he got drunk and missed her birthday party. He said that in cobra kau
Damn, I must've missed cobra kau
@@StryfetheWarrior wise guy. You know damn well I meant cobra kai.
Then you know damn well that no matter if Johnny broke up w/ Ali or Ali broke up w/ Johnny, the point is they broke up
So if robby is new chozen
Johnny is new mr miyagi
Daniel is new sato
What is Miguel?
Miguel is a hybrid of both Daniel/Johnny imo
Daniel=Mr. Miyagi+ Sato
Johnny=Kreese+Mr. Miyagi
Miguel=Daniel+Johnny
Robby=chozen+Daniel
Johnny was poor but he also have same attitude like Daniel. Just like he tore the check which sid gave to him. When Miguel was talking nicely with him, johnny tell 'great more immigrants' and tell miguel I think 'miguedo'. Both Daniel and Johnny are ignorant
Cool thanks
No problem!
Good guy... Obviously.
This is good content right here tho
Thank you!
Looking back on it now having seen season 4 I don't think Daniel will ever find true balance I think Sam is the closest one to finding balance.
Demetri finds balance sam no
but was daniel actually gonna kill kreese, in theory if sam and miguel didnt show up he might have did what mr. miyagi did and maybe remember what mr. miyagi said "For person with no forgiveness in heart, living even worse punishment than death"
@@StryfetheWarrior ah okay thanks
@@jackienotchan007 It could've really gone either way imo, though I'm more on the side that Daniel may have really had no choice (and also because he was so mad about them attacking his family/house). I will say though that you are totally well within sound reason of Miyagi's teachings, as well
@@StryfetheWarrior true true
Eh, I'm just past the mid-point of Season 4, and I'm still not so sure about how balanced Daniel is.
Today I learned Mr Miyagi's first name isn't Mr
Funny enough, it's like Next Karate Kid forgot his first name and re-named him Keisuke Miyagi (though also in Karate Kid 1, there is another name on the dogtag that Daniel looks at, but I forget what it is at the top of my head)
Cobra Kai will win this time in season 4
Could be a possibility
@@StryfetheWarrior that's what i believe because remember the show would not be good without kreese silver nor cobra kai
and then came back to sato
What if sam and robby have to fight in the torn in s4
That would be interesting
Mike barns hair is so ugly. Idgaf what yall say. It was terrible
What’s up
The grandchamp 😎😎😎😎😎😎
Indeed!
Idk why put to me it seems like hawk is like chozen
Maybe some similarities, I personally see him more like Dutch. Robby is pretty similar to Chozen imo
@@StryfetheWarrior yeah true
I'm not gonna lie, I don't think Daniel is a good parent to his kids. He's a good friend to them.
Samantha is spoiled and her tantrums are fed into and catered. It doesn't help that he focuses almost entirely on her and ignores Anthony
Anthony is just a brat and has 0 discipline. He is always given an option on what to do instead of having a parent guide him. You can't do that with kids. They need to be led, not let them stumble.
Daniel isn't a good parent in seasons 1-3. Towards the end of season 4, he starts picking out up though.
If you want to know what I think the only ones that is keeping Daniell laRusso to have balance is a fact chosen and Johnny they are the ones who is the ones that is keeping him to ha in balance some in Times that that there is balance and unbalance we put them both together and sometimes it will become as we know it is balance or not to be there or not be there
Order to have balance or be in balanced or no be there or you can be there basically it was that like this be there or don’t be there in the words of commercial Miyagi means what is this sometimes no be there
I don't believe he has found balance he was gonna kill kreese in season 3 finale and that not balance in Mr miyagi eyes
Never expected daniel to be one to end kreese life
Edited: I like in final shot of s3 that when each bows down to each other. You see behind that there green leaves on johnny side and other side (daniel) there are autumn leaves. Perhaps foreshadowing a darker route for daniel in s4 🤔
@@StryfetheWarrior What would Miyagi's response be after Kreese's return?

dude your spoiling whole karate kid part 2 xD i stopped watching cause i still need to watch karate kid part 3
