Legitimate question: does this game still have an active playerbase? I'd love to start playing it but I worry about not being able to find people to play against
Depends what you’re looking for honestly. Games always have an influx of players after holidays due to sales. So ranked and lobbies are populated enough that you can reasonably expect to find a handful of other beginners. But most people have been playing for a while. If you go to the discord, you can find some more people to play with but that requires a level of involvement that may make it less fun for you if you’re not into that stuff.

I would say this is easyest to figure becouse you do with her what you expect in every other fighting game this is mashing rapidly button sequencesXD
